Went into this location last night to pick up a game that I had preordered waited in the electronics department for over 15 minutes no employees around or came. I called the main number to the store three times to have an employee come back ten minutes later the employee finally showed up I asked to have a manager come back he come back acting cocky and like he didn’t care said the song and dance and said the employee had to go all the way up front to get some key for the department and I said well why couldn’t the manager which is you bring the keys back to the employee. I wish I could give this no stars. and I wish I could remember two cashiers names for this review. I have never felt so embarrassed in my whole life. First experience. My 21 year old friend was purchasing liquor for the first time with it being her birthday. She had not changed her license yet because again, it was her birthday but we had other things to get so off to the check out. We go to the line that is closest to the cigarettes because she was going to purchase a package as well. The lady gives her the cigarettes as I putting my things on the belt line(none of which I need an I.D. for which is great because I only had cash; no I.D. on me) and we are talking between each other. My friend also gives the clerk the alcohol. The clerk asks for her I. D, then turns to me and asks for mine as well. I look blankly at her and ask why? She replied with stating we were together and my friend can’t make her purchases until I show the clerk MY I.D. I again asked why and told her I didn’t have my I. D with me. Her reasoning was because my friend was the right age but I wasn’t. I told her she couldn’t prove that because I don’t have my I.D. So long story short, my friend wasn’t able to buy the drink BUT the clerk gave her the cigarettes. WHAT? My friend bought the smokes and left, I just went ahead and left my cart there before they could finish the transaction. I was so angry, I was shaking. That made no sense. With the clerk’s reasoning on not giving my friend the alcohol, she shouldn’t have given her the cigarettes. Second experience… I am a single mom and I am on state aid(Wic and food stamps). I try to go early in the morning and get all my checks done at the same time to save time and gas. Well one morning, I’m there with my 7 month old daughter and my wic checks. I go to one of the longer lines with no express checkout limit. I get to the belt and I guess the clerk saw my transactions and rolled her eyes at me said I could only do one at time. I asked what she meant, and she replied with an attitude, «You’re going to have to do one transaction and then get back in line and wait your turn, its Walmart policy.» I again, blank stare and all asked what? I’ve never had to do that and I’ve been getting my WIC here every month. She again told me I was holding up her line and I just left my cart full of items and stormed out of the store. I have never been treated so poorly for having to get a little extra help. It was unnecessary and uncalled for in general.

What an awful store. But a lot of Walmart stores are awful now. Some employees are rude, and they certainly don’t care at all. They’re messing with their hair, staring at you like if there was any other place they could be right then, they’d be there. They’re so ignorant at the registers, too. If you’re planning on using any coupons at all, don’t bother at this store. Even the people that are a level up from the cashier don’t know their own store’s policy. Get educated, please. I’m a customer and I know it, and they told me that I was wrong and I misconstrued it when I know i didn’t. This place is always a huge mess, nothing is ever where it’s supposed to be. It’s also never stocked. This place is horrible, I’ll go to Walgreen’s or Kmart before I’d go to this hell-hole again.

Hell has frozen over, pigs are flying and I am defiantly going to hell. The only way all three of these could happen is because I shopped at Walmart. The only time I shop a Walmart is when I am desperate and Easter Sunday I was really desperate. I had to work, so I did not plan ahead for Easter Sunday dinner when I got work. It wasn’t till I was at work that I called home and sent them to SugarFire to pick up a smoked ham. Then I quickly was piecing together the rest of the menu to create a memorable meal. You can tell I no longer work in retail, I totally forgot most stores are closed Easter Sunday. I needed fresh vegetables, primarily spinach for side dishes. As I drove home, I stopped at convenience stores and they were not making things convenient for me. As I drove down Route 3, my regular Aldi’s was closed celebrating the holiday. In the distance I could see at the next stoplight, the Walmart was open. Gotta love the Walton family for making their employees work on a religious holiday when other retailers are letting their employees spend time with family. I swallowed my pride and pulled in to the parking lot. I was shocked to see how full it was at 5PM on a holiday. As I walked towards the entrance, I asked forgiveness for the sin I was about to commit entering this hell hole. At the same time I was also hoping that they had a grocery department to fulfill my needs and get me out of my dilemma. WOW! As I entered the main entrance I was smack dab in the middle of a huge fresh produce department. I immediately found spinach, sliced portabella mushrooms and arugula. Glancing around I was impressed with the freshness and prices. I quickly gathered my veggies together and headed to the check out. This Walmart was nothing like the ones I have experienced in Missouri. It was brightly lighted, clean, well laid out and the associates I had contact with were pleasant. Again, I wonder if being located in a smaller town doesn’t make a big boxer retailer better. Seriously this probably should be a 4 Star review, after all they did save my Easter dinner. However, I just do not have it in me to give 4 Stars to Walmart.

This one is in the process of becoming a Walmart Express. It is a little confusing with the construction going on where everything is, but as I walked out I noticed a map over to the side. From what they told me, an express is just a smaller version of a super-center. It did have some of the groceries already but no fruits and veggies but its all set up so it should be soon. And for those with pools, they are already out of most of the pool cleaning supplies. And it was very quiet, very few people inside shopping which was really nice.
