Have lived ‘jus down the street’ and this is our first time here. Craving a burger and heard this is the place. Oh yes… Had the Bacon Mushroom Pepper Jack … Tasty, and worth the experience. We will return.

Stopped in for breakfast. The place looked like a place that might make everything from scratch. Well it didn’t taste that way or if it was they may need to reevaluate the cooks skills. It wasn’t bad just not what I expected. Had the chicken fried steak. It was definitely purchased from a large restaurant food supplier. The hash browns were good but a small portion. Skipped the eggs for biscuits and gravy. The gravy was near tasteless and the biscuit was dense and doughy. The service was slow but friendly. Only one waitress working. Prices were average. If I lived here I wouldn’t probably go back for breakfast again.

This is the best place for an old fashioned burger and fries. Quaint little place with wonderful service.

Great Old Fashion Diner. Hot Dog and Burger baskets are reminiscent to the«Good Old Days.» A no frills place to eat at very reasonable prices. We go there at least once a month. My wife loves old fashioned hot dogs and the milk shakes. The last time there I tried the Ortega Grilled Chicken burger which was excellant. My suggestion to Eddy’s is don’t change anything! Too bad Michele, from San Jose caught a bad day! Maybe they saw your California license plates.

This is a MUST stop place if you like burgers. We ALWAYS go at least once when we are in town visiting. The food is great and the milkshakes are delicious! The service, up until today, is top notch. The young lady(did not get her name, she never introduced herself. Course if I had her attitude, I would not want people to know my name either.) who helped us today was much more interested in arguing and correcting me then giving good customer service. We(there are 5 of us) walk in and sit down like normal. She comes over and takes our drink order. She comes back and starts taking the food order. My order is pretty similar to one of the other orders, but I have food allergies for I am a little more specific with mine. I asked for a dry, plain bun only ketchup and mustard. Now maybe she did not like that I was specific, but you don’t have to RUDELY and REPEATEDLY tap the ketchup and mustard that is already on the table with your pen, obviously I did not see them. So she goes to place out order. Food was ready fast, like always. She comes back and gives me the wrong order. I did not say anything, just handed it to the right person. She notices and says, «Oh, that’s right, you had the bacon burger.» She comes back with the rest of the food and hands me my order. I notice that it is not the way I order it and point it out to her. She takes it back and has a conversation with the cook. She comes back and says that it will be just a minute while the cook fixes it. Then she tell me, «Just so I know for the future, if I say dry bun that it only means no condiments.» EXCUSEME?!? I state that my sister ordered her burger almost the same way and hers came out correct. The waitress continues to argue stating, «No, she said no pickles.» At this point, I do not want my food messed with(I did work in the food industry) so I just say okay. I get my food and we all eat. When we went to pay the bill I wrote on it that a dry bun does not mean what she said it did. She decided to tell someone else in our party that if I keep ordering it the way I did it will keep coming out the way it the first time. Now having worked the food industry I know that the customer is always right, except when they are wrong. There are ways to tell the customer, nicely that they are wrong without them even knowing it. But you NEVER argue and correct them! A few pointers our«waitress» today: 1) When someone asks for something on their burger, do not RUDELY tap the condiments on the table indicating they are already there. Didn’t see them, SORRY! 2) Pay attention to the order. I said plain, dry bun in the beginning. 3) Know the diner lingo, if you don’t ask. I have ordered this there the same way every time we go there and this was the FIRST time this happened. 4) Don’t tell the customer that the cook is «fixing» something and then turn around and say that I was wrong. If someone is «fixing» something that means that THEY did it wrong! 5) When someone tries to be helpful and let you know that you may be wrong(heaven forbid!!) do not continue to argue. 6) A condiment is a spice, sauce or other FOOD preparation that is added to foods to impart a particular flavor, enhance its flavor, or in some cultures, to complement the dish. LOOKITUP! My advise, ask for the wonderful lady that goes by Kathy, she really knows her stuff. She is always attentive and makes you feel like an old friend.

Really good burgers, fries and onion rings. We like to come here for a family lunch on the weekends. Very eclectic. My kids always enjoy looking at all the model cars. Friendly wait staff and fast service.

Consistently great burgers and fries. Order their fry sauce for a quarter more, well worth it. Always fast and friendly service.

Pretty good café, especially for b’fast. They stop serving b’fast around noon so get there early if that’s what you’re looking for. 50’s motif and friendly servers. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. Around $ 10 a person.

I felt like I was cheating on my true love Jimmy’s Hamburgers when going here. I was using a bogo coupon through the treasure chest from hvhs. I ate chicken strips with fries and they did not satisfy at all. Plus the interior design of the café was 50s diner meets mid-90s.

I can only rate Eddie’s on their excellent breakfast. Pancakes to die for! Big servings and great service.
