A tiny hole in the wall but clean inside. The employees were nice and helpful. I enjoyed the 3 rib plate with macaroni salad. The ribs were tender and delicious. They fell apart easily. Extremely enjoyable.

Leo’s BBQ committed to doing three horse shows for us this year. He showed up at the first show and ran out of food. The second and third show he was a no-show. Left us hanging. The only reason we found out he was not showing up was when called the night before to confirm and he dogged us both times! Would never recommend him again as far as being a vendor for an event, very unreliable and lied to our face up until the moment it was time to show up. I personally will never buy food there again, and I am recommending to all of my friends to stay away from this place!

Excellent smoked ribs and the tri tip sandwich is killer good, love the giant Bread they use. Also breakfast burritos are loaded, fresh made and delicious. Convenient for take out when you don’t want to cook dinner, we treat ourselves at least once a month for take out.

Really good bbq and nice customer service. It’s a hole in the wall but sometimes those are the best places. Chicken, ribs, and brisket were great.

Some of the BESTBBQ in Southern Oregon. The Beef Brisket plate is excellent. It comes with two sides & a slice of toasted bread. The coleslaw & baked beans are very good. My wife loves the large veggie salad with Tri tip.

All the food is made fresh never reheated. You can get spicy or regular sauce for whichever meat you choose. They have various size meals per person and also for large groups

Read a number of the reviews of Leo’s and despite a couple of stinkers decided to give it a try. We arrived on Saturday night at 5:15. They close at 7:00. When we walked in a hand letter sign said«No credit cards today» so it was good we had cash. On arrival we were told they were out of ribs and tri-tip, but that if we wanted to wait 40 minutes more ribs would be available. We accepted the wait, which in fact turned out to be 70 minutes. We had the BBQ sampler. The brisket was very good, tender, had a nice bark and was while a somewhat sparse serving size, excellent. Note the sampler plate was $ 20 for 4 ribs, 2 other meats of choice and three sides. All food was served on styrofoam plates with the cheapest possible plastic ware, hardly fit to cut meat. Our other meat was pulled pork, which was again sparse, and also dry. The ribs(which were short baby backs) were done, but were not tender. You could barely chew the meat from the bone. I like fall off the bone ribs and these weren’t. We had baked beans for the side(they seemed right out of the can), and slaw, which was very wet. They also grill french bread with each meal, and it was OK. In all the food was from good-the brisket, to dismal-the ribs. I certainly didn’t feel that either quality or quantity met the price point. Nor did the facility, which was full of flys and not kept clean(we had to call a staffer to clean the table we wanted.). Finally, the service. When I went to the cashier to ask how our order was coming, I got attitude, I wasn’t putting on pressure, just asking, and her response was«I told you it would be 40 minutes to an hour» which is not the truth. We were told 40 minutes, period. The bones of a good BBQ place are there, but they need to work on the tenderness of the ribs, service of fresh moist food, and better tableware for this type of food. At present I probably won’t return, unless I see changes in future reviews.

I LOVE this place! This is a frequent food stop for my boyfriend and I, we love supporting our local small businesses and they make it easy to do because they’re food is delicious! We love the pulled pork and pulled chicken, and the fact that we can just buy it by the ounce is so convenient and wonderful. They have a cute seating area to dine in or order it to go! 100% recommend Leo’s BBQ!

Crazy good! I got ribs and brisket and the meat was perfectly tender and beautifully fell off the bones. Great sauce and sides too. My boyfriend is kind of a rib snob and we were both super impressed!

Passing through town on a road trip and pulled over here. Best decision we made all day. I had the three meat platter and everything was exemplary. I’d eat here all the time if I lived here. Way to smoke that meat!

If you like good food, you’re cheating yourself by not coming here. The restaurant and bathroom are clean, the woman serving us was helpful and friendly, and you can for sure get out paying less than $ 10/person. I had the tri tip salad, which was fresh and filling, and the meat was cooked to about a medium, moist and surprisingly tender. They have two kinds of barbecue sauce(regular and spicy), and offer to mix them to achieve any desired level of spice. Other people with me tried the pork plate, the tri tip sandwich, and the pulled pork sandwich, all with good things to say. I’ll be back if I’m ever in the area again.

Driving through Grants Pass. Hungry, Unilocaled this place, all good reviews. Mapped it, drove past it, sketchy hole in the wall place. Not sure I wanted to stop. Best dinning decision. Foods great, good flavor and quality. They have that family owned can do attitude, they were out of a beer that was ordered, they ran next door to get it. Definitely give them a try.

Combo sampler of ribs, brisket and pork along with sides, all excellent. Wish I lived in GP, best bbq I’ve had in many years. Family biz as well, hope community supports these folks.

We’ve live in GP for over a year now. Driven by and smelled that smoker cooking up some great BBQ. Finally got in for lunch today. The guys working the kitchen/counter were very nice, greeted us and explained the specials and menu. Had the brisket sandwich(spicy sauce) with baked beans. Outstanding. My wife had the chicken bacon. Saves half of it for later. Only reason I gave 4 stars? Haven’t tried the entire menu for a 5 star rating. I will return for the ribs, chicken, tri tip, pork butt and more.
