Have been here several times and love it, but tonight our service was horrible! The food is good but the attitude of the manager was the most disgraceful and unprofessional thing I have ever seen. No eye contact from the manager when rushing our food and just dropped our food at our table and walked away. Was not even the staffs fault. As a former cast member of the Walt Disney company I am extremely shocked in the horrible customer service efforts and attitude of the manager here at chill. So very sad, will not be returning.

I’ve been here twice now with 2 different experiences. First time was in December so we ate inside. Service was fine and food was good. Typical bar food. Second time was in the Spring and we sat outside. Service wasn’t that great and food wasn’t spectacular. Can’t recall the name of the salad I had but my lettuce was very limp and not fresh.

Best neighborhood spot ever!!! Came in with some business associates. Ask for Sarah, she is the Best waitress ever. Burgers, appetizers and beverages were much better than expected.

Went to Chill after the Main Street fest with my friend. Met kummer, a bartender. He never let us down. We never waited for service. Our food came out quickly and was good and hot. Kummer was fantastic! We couldn’t of asked for better service!

Every time I have been here we have always had great service and great food. Sara, Cristina and Jessica are great! Everyone is so polite and nice. Weekends are great and the music is fun! Lots of TV’s, great to watch your favorite sports teams even hockey. Chill is one of of the best hangouts in Grapevine!

They need to hire more people. I once had to wait 20 minutes for my check. The cook needs to be retrain. Twice I came and the food was raw. The chicken wings were dripping blood on the inside. Great concept just horrible service. Nice people but understaffed. Waited 20 minutes for my check once. It was only me and two other people eating there.

Horrible service, we were not impressed. Manager unfriendly, seating outside uncomfortable, food and drinks average, atmosphere dull.

Typically the food is very good at the Chill. However, I tried the BLT-A sandwich tonight and it was inferior to other local restaurants such as Bottlecap Alley. Don’t order it.

Seems like a cool atmosphere. Unfortunately we could not enjoy it. We waited to be seated; there were only outdoor seats available. We agreed to it since there were heaters. We stood bundled up next to a heater… And waited… And waited. After about 10– 15 minutes we went in and requested to wait for an indoor table. After being seated; we were served waters & menus… And waited… And waited… And waited. We eventually gave up. 30 – 45 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged or served is just plain ridiculous.

I drove 30 minutes to visit my buddy on his birthday(not really relevant but I like to tell a good story). I was wearing joggers, Jordan’s, a Nike sweater, and a Boston Bruins fitted cap. As I walked up to the door, a gentleman in ripped jeans, work boots, a John Deere t-shirt, and a John Deere trucker hat walked out. I was then told by the bouncer that I couldn’t come in because I was wearing joggers and a flat billed hat. Normally, I’d say ok thanks I understand and head home. But when someone who’s clearly way more underdressed than I am walks out right in front me, then I’m told I can’t come in because of «dress code»??? I’m going to have a problem. I don’t plan on going back and I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone.

It is possible to use this bar to kill time if you’re stuck overnight at DFW due to American Airlines’ incompetence or broken planes. It’s one of two I found on Unilocal in the nearby area with a closing time of 2AM. I took a taxi from the airport at about 10PM and the driver said he’d never driven anyone to Grapevine so maybe there is a better way to get there. I dunno. He said it cost a flat $ 23 from the airport even though the meter said $ 16. Seems a bit much. The bar is nice. Modern with a lot of beers on tap and the gin martini when I said I didn’t care about the gin was still good. Clientele seems to be wealthy, young, and blonde. I got a few looks as a lone guy with a bag charging his iPhone from a battery. But no guff. The Wifi, by the way is insanely fast! It appears to be Fios. So that was handy. I was thinking of getting some food(at nearly airport prices but probably nicer) but at closing I just walked around the cute downtown for a bit then to Waffle House, which is not far. My taxi guy gave me a number to call for a ride back to the airport, which I should have used. Instead I walked, which is possible but pretty difficult since most of the way there’s no sidewalk and it’s about 4.5 miles to the A terminal. It might be possible to take an employee bus from the Far North employee parking area, which would cut that about in half.

The Venue If you like TV’s they have them, lots. The Service It’s ok. Some server was riding around the restaurant on a scooter. She thought it was cute. I wanted to see her wash her hands before serving more people. Maybe she did. My suggestion, scooters are for outside. :) The Food Average pub food. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp. No way those were fresh. Frozen refried bacon and shrimp = Meh. I also had the Main Street Burger. It was good. No complaints. The beer selection is good, and cold. Summary I would go there to watch a game for sure. I would not go there for just the food.

Well, seems we found a silent club right deep in the heart of Grapevine. I have not eaten here but I ran into this place when looking for a cool hangout spot after a meal downtown Grapevine. Before you enter the place they will check your ID. Once your in there is a bar to your left and a Dj to your right. There are people of all ages here dancing, drinking and enjoying the night. There are two bar areas one in the front and the other in the back room. There is also a patio. It was cold out so they had heat lamps. I go to order a drink and they serve the drink in a plastic cup. That part I wasn’t to please about. It’s been a long time were I went somewhere that served alcohol in a cheap plastic cup. Also since it was in a cup they also charged way to much for the drink. I spent 20.00 on two small plastic alcoholic beverage. Other than the presentation of drinks the music was nice. Getting a drink here didn’t take long either. I like the crowd here everyone was fun, nice and definitely no drama. I would definitely come back to just hang out because the music was mix.

Psh. This would be my fourth or so time here. Which the other times were great so I don’t know what happened. Came with my friends and my Fiancé. First order of drinks were pointless. $ 16 for 3 whiskey and sprites. All you could taste was sprite. Hardly any discoloration. So, we decided we were already there and to try another bartender that actually gave the correct amount. Again, 3 whiskey and sprites, all at different levels. All pointless and 98% sprite. Waste of money and will not be going back. I suggest you find another«chill» place to go to in Grapevine.

Get the mile high nachos with brisket! I came here with a work group, so we reserved the whole back area. I’m sure my experience is not representative of a normal one, but I did get a chance to see the place and taste some of the food. They have trivia on Monday nights so it was pretty busy. I’m glad we had that back area. I tried the mile high nachos with brisket and it was fantastic! It would be better without the jalapenos(imo), but I just picked them off. They were so good, I couldn’t stop eating them. I also tried some of the fries and they were pretty good as well. The egg rolls are another solid choice. I went standard with my drink. You really can’t mess up a vodka and cranberry. It is happy hour all day with drinks on Mondays, so I definitely suggest going on a Monday if you are going to drink. This place has a laid back, small time bar feel. I would definitely suggest checking this place out if you are in grapevine.

My partner in crime’s co-worker was leaving the country and had the misfortune of choosing Chill to gather at for a farewell get-together with friends. Had it not been for this, we NEVER would have returned — per our previous visit and 1 of their now ex-employees trolling myself and other Unilocal reviewers. When we arrived, most of the group was there and as we sat down, the server promptly picked up the check the previous patrons left on our table. She did not ask us for our drink order and she didn’t even acknowledge us. I made sure to make notes about the evening to see if there had been any improvements. There were not. It was exactly 10 minutes from the time she picked up the previously mentioned check until we were able to order — which my date HAD to get her attention as she went to the table behind us 3 times and completely ignored us. The first 2 rounds of drinks were good, but the next round was watered down. I don’t know if they intentionally do that or if it’s because our drinks sat at the bar waiting for our server so long that the ice melted. Either way, there was a vast difference. I noticed the order runner was mixing up the food and delivering to the wrong tables. More than once. Too many mistakes. Still horrible service. Over priced and watered down drinks. Last month we read a fluff piece on Chill in the local newspaper. What a joke! A cruel one at that.

Terrible staff, terrible food, watered down drinks. Don’t waste your time. The hostess was pregnant and rude, she didn’t walk us to our seats. They had no menus. A waitress finally greeted us and asked for a drink order. We still had no menus when we got our drinks. I went to grab some menus from the hostess but she only had one. The waitress brings us 3 more a couple minutes later and gives us a hard time because we were asking the pregnant girl for menus… Wow, a little sensitive are we?! Atmosphere is bad. 30 – 40 year old drunks acting out. Disgraceful. The only reason we stayed was to watch the Women’s World Cup.

5 stars for dance music! A friend and I thought we were going to just a standard bar in Grapevine on Saturday night, and we love to dance at clubs, but there are none nearby, so it was a very fun surprise that Chill had an awesome DJ(JR in the mix from 106.1KISSFM). The music included hip hop and pop from now back to the 90s and ALL good dance music, no corny choreographed music like the wobble, haha! It was legit and better music than a lot of clubs, we never wanted to break from the dance floor! They also have Red Ruby Deep Eddy vodka, which is the best and not sold everywhere, so I will go back!

Chill is a comfy place to have a cheap drink and a decent burger, and watch a sporting event if you wish, for a reasonable tab. Also, it has a nice big deck for fresh air imbibing on pleasant days. Service: solid wait staff, nothing extraordinary in terms of service or attire or demographics. Food: I had the burger, listed at $ 6.99 on the menu for the base burger. The waitress told me it came with cheese and charged me 7.99. It was about a 1⁄3 lb patty, not seasoned at all to my taster. Get the jumbo double for 8.99, and get a good hunk of beef(21⁄3 lb patties, in my estimation) for the best deal, and the best ratio of meat to bun in my estimation. The bun itself was soft and pleasant, and my fries were just warmish when served– waitress happy to bring me some hot ones upon request. Drinks: good specials daily– I had the $ 2 dos equis lager(Corona, too, if you prefer that) bottle deal on Tuesdays. $ 1 tacos starting at 3, if that floats your boat. Plenty of seating, with the tables spaced comfortably. Concrete floors and hard walls, so it gets noisy when crowded. Lots of square footage and two separate seating areas, either of which would make a fine private party venue. This is a long way from my lower Greenville Dallas stomping grounds, and well worth the drive to get together with my Sprint old timers reunion buddies for a bite and some cold ones.
