Conservation Construction

After making and confirming an appointment to review and quote windows, they refused to quote because my spouse was not present. Clearly they were preparing for a hard sell using the spouse for leverage. Apparently it is «company policy», but makes me believe it is more of a hard sales company than a window installation company.
Total waste of my time, as well as theirs.

This review is for CCof Texas in Grapevine, Texas. for poor and insulting sales tactics… All I wanted was a good honest price on decent windows. After the shpiel about the company and windows we got down to the pricing. This is where I have a problem. I got one initial price (Inflated) then a discount price and then… the «Discount» price I thought where it should be. The only problem was that I wasn’t allowed to process it for a day or two and was told the price changes if the sales guy leaves my house. Whaaat? Price changes when you walk out the door??? Really? No, just bad sales decision. This is a poor pressure sales tactic game and very insulting to me. The sales guy then started asking personal questions about my finances and what was holding me back. I was also uncomfortable about that. Additionally he told me I could lock in the mystery price for five years but I was never told what that actually meant. What price am I «Locking» in?
I think this company should take a clue from Tom Reilly about giving it back to the customer… I think they have a good product and I feel I would have made the the purchase after a couple days and some clarification… Not so much now.
