Discover Kayak is in the process of working with the city of Arlington to possibly move here permanently!
My wife and I did the beginners class for 3 hours and what a great time we had! Learned how I have been kayaking wrong all of my life and some rescue tips etc. Steve and his brother Dave are great and so is their staff. We are lucky to have such a great outdoor activity come to Arlington. We hope you are here to stay and we will be back again and again for your $ 10/hr rentals!
By the way Steve, we looked up kayak rock gardening and caving and it does look like loads of fun. Thanks again!

Our family group of 4 purchased two tandem kayaks, 2 hour tour groupons, and had a wonderful time. We had used the city’s groupon offer a year ago so we were very familiar with the area.
Reservations are recommended and we secured ours with ease. We were given good directions to the operations, as there is no signage on the road in or at entrance gate.
Steve of Discover Kayak provided excellent kayak basics and unlike the other outfit, reassured us that they were nearby and would also help us gauge time as the beauty of Lake Grapevine and the joy of kayaking can sometimes make you lose track of time.
Saturday summer mornings should always begin with a day kayaking! Thanks Discover Kayak. I highly recommend.
