Update 1÷27÷16 Owner just wrote me a nasty note and called me dumb. Instead of saying that maybe they had an off day and come back and see if we can try again he accused me of lying about my picture. No one from my company wants to come back because of the awful service and food we had. Awful place. Our chef barely tried to put on a show. They messed up my coworkers order by not even giving her enough rice. My sukiyaki tasted old. When I told them, they didn’t bother making it again or offering me something else. Plus their lunch portions are small.

Food is very good however the service here is non existent. The severs are not rude just oblivious to their consumers.

Great Hibachi. Other similar restaurants around but this one is rock solid! The chef was good. Personable and friendly. The filet mignon was ultra tender. Fried rice had a great taste to it and the home made saki was awesome.

Waitress was rude and short with us… Until the check came. Not just once but 3 times. We saw she had a larger table so we tried to be patient. When we asked for a sauce, she literally waved her hand and walked away as though she didn’t have time. We had to go to the sushi bar to ask for a sauce. Our glasses sat empty. The hibachi was average. The rice and noodles are too much. They should offer more veggies rather than the noodles. At $ 25 for the filet hibachi, they’re still making a good profit. The sauces weren’t too flavorful. I recommend asking for teriyaki sauce if you have steak and the yum yum sauce for the seafood. The waitress really ruined the experience. There seemed to be a lot few regulars that called the manager by name — that’s always a good sign.

Love this place. One of my absolute favorites of both sushi and hibachi. Charlie, the manager, is such a nice guy and he always remembers us. Would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Friendly service. Yummy food. Great family ambiance. The sushi panic roll was awesome! My only complaints are: lil too salty and hibachi room could have better ventilation. Otherwise, we will definitely be back.

Good food… HORRIBLESERVICE, chef actually asked if I was taking my daughter to McDonald’s after because we shared food. She’s 6 and doesn’t eat much, our appetizer and entrée was more than enough for us both! Waitress was very dry and rude as well.

Service was so rushed and you could barely have time to enjoy the meal because they are rushing you so fast. Miso soup isn’t miso soup, it’s broth with one sliced mushroom. The entertainment of the chefs is minimal because I think they are timed and if they don’t get you out the door in 30 min they’ll be fired. It was disappointing because we take our family to hibachi as an event for celebration and enjoyment together. This place had drinks service and check done in under 30 minutes. I can’t even comment on the food as it was given in such haste. I’ll never go back again!

We left stuffed and the entire family had a blast. This is a great environment to have a very good and entertaining dinner. The Temptation Roll was our first taste as a family. …ever…and we loved it!

Service and selection is great the quality of fish is not as fresh as I expected. It’s worth trying, to see for yourself.

Our visit was a great experience! I’ve been to many hibachi grills in the past and this is the first one that served noodles with your meal for free! Our chef was very humorous, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and they have a big selection of food that I haven’t seen on a hibachi grill menu before like swordfish! The food was very good and I’m looking forward to a return visit!

First time visit and we were sat immediately at the bar. Doesn’t hurt that it’s snowing outside badly. Service was wonderful. Always made sure we were taken care of. Food prices reasonable. Great choices. Will done in again soon.

Been back a few times. Was just great that first time… sushi rolls are consistent and I think there is one called the Green Monster roll or something like that which is very tasty. Not too excited with their hibachi… super bland. I wish Unilocal would allow half star ratings. Definitely a 3 ½.

Edohana is great! From the hilarious, friendly host to the awesome food, I loved the whole experience. We ordered the summer roll, this awesome pepper tuna dish, and sukiyaki($ 17) and steak($ 18) teppanyaki. Loved the show of course, and all the food was so yummy. With the meal they give you a bowl of soup, salad with ginger dressing, a couple shrimps, veggies, noodles, fried rice, AND whatever meat you ordered. It was so much food, so I enjoyed the leftovers for days afterwards. I couldn’t give them the 5th star because our server wasn’t the best, but maybe it was just an off day. I’ll be back to Edohana for sure.

Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner. Our chef was very nice. He was a little slower than some but he was cooking for a party of 13. I was very disappointed in this place. The hibachi steak was dry and rubbery at medium rare, and the hibachi fried rice was so hard. The rice was undercooked. My jaw was sore from the all the chewing… I wouldn’t come back here. I’d rather go to Benihanas in the Legacy Shops. Much better food and they’re more consistent with their food than the location in Irving.

My team and I went here for a holiday hibachi lunch. The reservations were easy to make, great service, delicious food — who could ask for more! I was bummed, we didn’t get the onion volcano trick but we did get lots of cool knife skills, flying eggs and fire! Overall, this is a great place for groups — the food was awesome and the chef was fast. Definitely a great lunch spot!

Excellent food but there is more to a restaurant than just the food. Either the waitress or chef mixed up 3 orders at the table. They fixed it straight away and had a great meal. But then they got everyone’s bill mixed up. Took 1520 minutes to get it all straightened out. If not for this I would give 4 star and it might not stop us from giving them a second chance.

I can’t say I’ve tried their sushi but I have gone twice for Hibachi. The service is really good and they do make an effort to treat the event as something special. I’m not a huge fan of Hibachi just because I want to eat everything right as it comes off the grill. I lack the patience to wait for the separate components to accumulate. I had the Hibachi steak, which was good but my favorite was the shrimp. Our Hibachi cook was really playful and entertaining as well. This is best for a special occasion but probably not everyday dining. I do want to go back and focus on the sushi and cocktails for like a date night.
