The dealership has been under new management for more than six months. This includes an almost completely new crew of techs, parts, and sales. PLEASEDISREGARDPREVIOUSREVIEWS! The business as a whole has a changed atmosphere about it and they actually care about taking care of their customers! The service department is at the top of list across the U.S. with some of the most knowledgeable techs you’ll find! Service is on their game making sure you get exactly what you want. I’ve seen it first hand and I would cosign for this business any day!

I had a good experience here. I have purchased a bike new and also utilized their service department. In one instance I needed something done THATDAY and they were able to accommodate me and get me on my way(I was in the middle of a ride and got a flat). Everyone was very friendly and nice. I’m surprised to read some negative reviews, but I know the dealership changed hands recently and maybe those are from before. I would certainly do business here again.

After checking parts on their online store I wrote down the parts numbers and headed over. I stood around for a few minutes while one guy was on the phone, the other guy was doing something on the computer. The guy in the computer never addressed me or asked me to hold on. I wish I would have had a timer! I finally interrupted. He rung me up and the prices were higher. He explained that they don’t update their online system, but would honor the prices. Take your prices off the internet if you don’t updated them. Got the parts in and he had ordered one wrong. I didn’t say anything, just a $ 3 item. Not a big deal. Same time I was getting a tire change. They couldn’t help me at the desk(very close to service). I guess they could see I was frustrated that I had to walk 5ft to the service office. A guy stepped in and said he would take care of me there. Geez wiz people, get it together. Went to have another tire changed(off the bike). They told me it was $ 35 +$ 3 for disposal. That’s the most expensive tire change I have ever paid for. She did lower it to 31 total to match last time(I didn’t realize I paid so much last time). I asked if that was the correct price. She politely told me it was and there were other shops options if I didn’t like the prices. She’s absolutely right. I work by this shop so it makes it easy to get things done when I need something in a hurry. With the recent events I see no reason to ever go here again, even if I do have to have something that day. That includes the lack of selection on the floor.

Called the store before heading out from North Fort Worth to verify they had OHV stickers in stock. The girl informed me that yes they do have those in stock. Drove 23 miles only to find out from the parts counter that they sold out yesterday or that’s what he claims. If you call to request information make sure you speak with someone other than the receptionist who has no idea what she is talking about and will misinform you!

My review is based on my experience being an out-of-state buyer. I want to warn potential buyers of the issue I faced when dealing with Grapevine Kawasaki and Polaris, and hopefully if you are considering making a purchase from this store you will take some steps to ensure you don’t have the same experience I did. Maybe some in-state buyers will benefit as well. I found a bike I wanted on Cycletrader and began communicating with Tyler who was a decent sales person and we negotiated terms of the purchase that included my need to pay a shipping company to pick up the bike and transport it. Details such as price and payment method were supposedly run past a sales manager for approval, so I thought we had a done deal. I even offered Tyler my credit card to put a deposit on the bike and took him for his word when he said«not an issue, I will put a sold sign on the bike and move it to the warehouse». Since they did not trust a credit card or personal check over state lines I made payment via a wire transfer(paying both their wire fee as well as my own). This payment was made on a Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon the owner(Dennis) called me to ask for proof that payment was made, I obliged and sent a picture of my online bank statement showing the withdrawal, amount, and where it was going(their bank) and I sent a picture of the wire form as requested showing all details. On this same phone call I was concerned that there was another buyer and I was explicitly told by Dennis«We are NOT going to sell this bike out from under you». Sunday night, I get an email from Dennis stating that he is unable to sell me the bike, I replied, then got a phone call from Dennis and was told he was overruled by his business partner(aka Wife). No information other than«I am not comfortable with this sale» was given. And supposedly Tyler was fired. Only after the financial matters were settled did Dennis admit they sold the bike to someone else on the Saturday I paid them. Overall this dealer went back on his word, disregarded the deal that was made, and sold the bike to someone else AFTER I sent payment and proved it to them. This dealer is all about the buck, not a surprise really, but do not take this dealer for his word. Get it in writing. And if you are dealing with a salesman, get something in writing from Dennis AND his business partner to acknowledge the terms and agreement to avoid«being overruled». Financially I was made whole, as refunded me 100%, Dennis rejected the wire transfer, and sent me a check to cover the wire fee my bank wouldn’t refund. But the way this went down was shady and cheap. Lies to my face, and excuses to cover the reasoning for the sale going bad, when none of it was my fault. This dealer made money a priority over an existing deal with a customer. That old saying is true with this place, if the deal you arrange is too good to be true, then it probably is. Buyer Beware.

This is a family owned and run business. Everyone at Kawasaki/Polaris of Grapevine has been terrific. That has been true when I was just looking, when I bought my Kawasaki and after the sale! These are friendly folks! Definitely worth checking out! I couldn’t be happier.
