I’m visiting from So Cal and what do I see? In-N-Out!!! Hot Diggity!!! I gave myself a hi-five in the car. This is a great late night snack and I was starving past 10:30pm in TX. No problem they got you covered cuz they close until 1am. Whauuut? Yeah exactly. So the $ 1,000,000 question. Is it the same as this worshiped establishment in Cali? May I dare say it’s better… It may be the Texas beef but who knows. All I know it was the late night fixin’ I needed. I was way over done on BBQ. So is it better than Whataburger? Well you can discuss amongst yourselves. Texans carry guns and I ain’t about to get shot by slandering their holy grail of local fast food burgers. Enjoy… P. S. For any newbies out there look up their secret menu. Mind blown…

Staff was rally friendly and service was fast. Got my order correct. One thing I would say was the meat was a little salty but overall a good experience.

This was my first time experiencing In-N-Out, since there aren’t any on the East Coast. I couldn’t wait to try it! Showed up on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. This is always a good indication that the food is delicious, but also poses a problem if you’re dining in. Their dining room should be bigger. We almost didn’t have anywhere to sit. Their employees were very friendly. A nice change from the misery many other fast food employees seem to be experiencing. On to the food– the bun was great! It was fresh and toasted and just had a great overall flavor. The burger as a whole was good. I did not get onions on my burger and took the tomato off. The fries were ok. There was nothing spectacular about them. They are made fresh and you can see the employees making them. I also got a chocolate milkshake, which was good as well. It’s not as tasty as a milkshake from an ice cream shop, but not as bland as a shake from McDonald’s or Burger King.

It’s a West Coast«thing.» In my opinion, nothing compares to this burger joint!!! Favorite… double-single(double meat/single slice of cheese), animal style(grilled onions), protein style(wrapped in lettuce instead of bread), with peppers(chopped up yellow peppers inside) WITH extra crispy fries(double fried). Wish there were more of these around!

Grease is good! Burger and fries done SoCal style. Took my daughter here for the first time when she visited from the east coast. She loved it!

This is a 5 star in-n-out! Not the best burger you’ll ever have, or even close. But! It’s always cheap, fresh, fast and really really good!

In & Out is the promise of what the great American burger stand should be, and it’s a pity that it is only available in certain limited markets. I get to eat In & Out burger once a year, and it is always something that I look forward to. Not necessarily because it is the best burger in the world — I’ve had plenty of gourmet ass-kicking burgers over the last several years of the burger renaissance and some have been particularly fantastic. What makes In & Out special for me is that they do one thing, they do it well, they don’t compromise, and they respect their labor force. For those unfamiliar with In & Out, it is a West Coast hamburger chain that focuses on a menu of just a few things. They make hamburgers, fries, shakes, and serve coffee, milk, and soda. They don’t deviate from that menu, so no chicken sandwiches or nuggets, no salads, no breakfast. They big key to what they do is that they will only use fresh ingredients, so much so that restaurant locations must be within a certain radius of one of their processing facilities /distribution centers. That’s why they’re mainly West Coast, because that is where they have those centers. The only reason this and the handful of other Texas locations exist is because In & Out built a distribution center in Texas that can service them. What this means for the customer is that the hamburger has never been frozen and was processed at a facility that is only a drive away, not beef that has been frozen and trucked halfway across the country. This commitment to freshness also carries over to their French fries. In & Out has a fairly open kitchen and you can look right back and see the tubs of potatoes that are soaking before they are made into fries, or sometimes you can see the employee manually put whole potatoes into the hand-operated press, pull the lever, and see the cut fries drop into the tub before they are put in the fryer. No frozen, pre-fried fries that are made of reconstituted potatoes — whole potatoes fried fresh for current orders. Another facet of In & Out is the«secret menu» The menu board inside the restaurant and in the drive-thru is basically the same menu they have used since the earliest stores opened, with the only updates coming to the prices. That menu does not show all that you can order, as you can have larger hamburgers by adding more patties and cheese, and it’s a line-item cost to add more patties and cheese. You can also order your burger«animal style» which adds a mustard-sauce to the cooking patty and grilled onions. There are also other variations including making grilled cheese, bunless burgers, et c., but that’s for you to Google. in & Out just makes a good and consistent-quality burger using fresh ingredients. I feel that I could eat an In & Out burger every day(though I probably shouldn’t have a Double-Double every day), but I only get it once a year, so I relish the time I do get it.

Being from Southern California this location hits the mark. My one star knock down was due to the fact that interior wise, it was pretty cold. Food wise, they nailed everything that I’ve come to expect from late nights hitting up the local In-N-Out after working a long shift at the casino. I had ordered a cheeseburger, no tomato with onions and of course a side of their famous animal style fries. Definitely recommend!

I love In-N-Out! And since I went pescetarian, that’s still true! I eat grilled cheese here… same thing as a cheeseburger without the meat. I also like their animal style French fries(topped with their good American cheese, dressing, and minced grilled onions). A cheap dinner for two. We each order one grilled cheese and share a fries(iced water on the side) for less than $ 9. A steal!

Yummy goodness in my tummy. And yet I still have guilt. So I go for the strawberry shake and all is calm. This location has the best staff with smiles always on their faces. «I’ll have what she is having!»

Way way overrated. Ive eaten at in and out a few times and I’m still scratching my head trying to figure out what all the hype was about? In and out is just a mediocre burger. Give me five guys or whataburger any day over in and out. If this is the best California can do for a burger then that’s really sad. Believe me people it’s not that great.

Oh man. Just as good as I remember from my days as a So-Cal gal. We drove into Dallas late in the evening on our way to the lake house, and this preggo was starving. Even though hamburgers have not sounded good to me during this pregnancy, I’m not about to pass up an In-N-Out, and I’m so glad we popped in. I just had a regular cheeseburger and fries, and then after dinner we split a chocolate shake. Everything was so good, and I ate more at this meal then I had at probably my three previous meals put together. It was filling but not super heavy and just tasted so good to me. I’ll be back, but maybe they could just go ahead and put one in OKC? I have a feeling my baby is going to be pretty picky and may only like In-N-Out burgers!

I won’t talk about the food because this is a fast food chain and you know what to expect. Cheeseburger animal style is what I got and it was good. Normally In-N-Out would get 3 – 4 stars from me and I wouldn’t take the time to review a fast food chain but this particular store has the best customer service I’ve recieved from a chain in a while. If you’re in the Grapevine area and in the mood for a burger then hit up this location and send this Cali boy a message about how awesome In-N-Out is!

Best burgers anywhere, hands down! Waited patiently and dreamed about this In n Out opening. Prayed to the burger Gods since moving to Texas that they would bless us and it worked! My undying love for In n Out has been redeemed and resuscitated in Grapevine. My waistline hates you, but my taste buds adore you. Please stay with me forever.

This is the only fast food joint I can eat at and not feel guilty afterwards. All of the ingredients are fresh and you can immediately taste the difference in the quality of the food here compared to other burger joints. I was a ways from home while here and ordered my usual: double-double with grilled onions, animal fries and a root beer float. The burger was juicy and delicious, and the fries not too crispy. This location is very clean and the service was excellent as well.

Environment: Normal fast food standard environment. What I ate: #2 «Animal style» What I think: The food is ok normal burgers I feel like it’s about the same level as McDonald’s but with fresh vegetables. The greatest thing about this is their service. I have to say all the staff members are great.

This is my first time at an in and out burger joint. We went through the drive-through. Very very busy place. The menu is surprisingly simple. Very few options or choices. I ordered the cheeseburger. I asked for mayonnaise and pickles, but they do not have mayonnaise or offer mayonnaise as an option. I like mustard, so I asked for mustard on my burger. I ordered a side of fries and sweet tea. The fries were delicious. The sweet tea was so sweet it was hard to drink. The burger was okay, but had so much mustard that all I could taste was mustard. I like mustard, so I was surprised not enjoying the burger more. They put a lot of mustard, I mean a lot of mustard. I was surprised at the size of the patty, which only covered a small portion of the inside of the burger. Small amount of meat, mostly two big buns. The buns were delicious. I do not plan on going back to any location as I enjoy mayonnaise and pickles on my burger. I do not understand the logic of not offering mayonnaise at a hamburger joint. To me, in my way of thinking, that is like offering french fries but not offering catsup at all. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Plus, the meat patty was so minimal it was strangely disproportionate.

Amazing and perfect and wonderful. I had In N Out for the first time when I went to California back in 2008, and I’ve been craving it ever since. When I was in the process of moving to Texas, I made a list of places to eat, with In N Out at the top of the list. I finally got the chance to go, and it more than lived up to expectations. 4×4 burger with grilled onions held together well, and the animal style fries were amazing because cheese. Topped it off with a thick and delicious vanilla shake. It’s a bit out of my way, but I would walk a thousand miles(sorry, had to be said) for this place. As a bonus, this location is really clean and the employees are super nice.
