I think this just might be the best BBQ sandwich I have ever eaten. Great sides like bacon Mac n Cheese and fantastic cream corn. Highly recommend.

The long lime was well worth the wait, lemme tell you what! The Pounder with brisket is one of my new favorites. It was out of this world tender and bursting at the seams with flavor, just a knock-out. Very excited to have found this place. Can’t believe I thought Rudy’s was good before. Service was fast and efficient. I will be back!

Wow. Another great meal. The Pounder with Brisket was a great choice today. Large baked potato with tons of brisket on top of cheese and sour cream. The brisket was so tender and full of flavor. Anyway you eat the brisket is fantastic. The only complaint I have here is that the dining room isn’t large enough, what a problem to have. You serve a great product and lots of people enjoy and fill up the dining room. Thanks for a tasty outing.

I have eaten at a lot of barbecue houses but this is one of the best I have been to. I come to Texas just for work and anytime I am close I stop here. The corn is unbelievable we don’t have anything like that in LA. I wish I lived closer. This place is definitely worth checking out.

After months with a bad taste in our mouth, I went back with a coworker to reevaluate. The line was still long, so we had high hopes that our previous bad experience was just an aberration. As we waited in line, the MUA staff was kind enough to be passing out samples… one of them being brisket. Once again the brisket looked great– dark think bark, the meat glistening from perfectly rendered fat. «Finally!» we thought to ourselves. The brisket we had been waiting for. The brisket that puts MUA on par with all of the other great BBQ joints in Texas. We each eagerly grabbed a piece with much anticipation only to once again be let down. The meat just flat out deceives you. It has no flavor. It doesn’t make sense. It should be succulent. It has the looks. It has the texture. Not the taste. I’ll give it another year and see if it improves. In the meantime, I’ll be get getting my brisket locally from Pecan Lodge and Lockhart in Plano/Dallas when I can’t get down to Central Texas.

Ok. I am a BBQ snob. I have a huge smoker at home and I am real hard on real Texas, no sauce brisket. If you want heavy bark, deep smoked, juicy brisket… this is it within 30 mi. This is better than all joints in area but very small 15 tables to sit at inside. I order ours by email and Greg confirms my order by email. Sunbeam white bread, cheddar cheese jalanpeno sausage perfectly cooked with great snap. The jalanpeno Mac is cheesy, spicy fun made w penne pasta. Cream corn is silky smooth, sweet yummy goodness. Brisket-5 Jalanpeno cheddar cheese sausage-5 Potato salad-3 Beans-4 Mac-4 Turkey-4 German sausage-3 Sauce-3 but good BBVA like this you don’t need sauce! Seating-2(I don’t care since food is so good) Parking-2 they had valet when we have gone by Overall-4 and would be a 5+ if u could park and sit to take it all in!!! Greg is amazing. All employees where shirts w names. Service was incredible. We will be back and back!

Wow! The catering company has opened up its doors for restaurant goers to sit down and gobble up its delicious BBQ. The rib meat falls off the bone and the spicy sausage links are not too hot! Be on the look out for the Trophy Club location opening up in the next couple of weeks(1st week of June 2016). Be sure to bring the entire family.

This place is very tasty and worth your time and money! The parking lot is extremely small but they have a free valet, you still need to tip but if you really dont want to deal with it just tell him you want to park yourself. Since it was our first time we had no idea how to order, the guy at the counter was very helpful and gave us a few samples to try while he explained how you order there. We ended up with brisket, sausage, and turkey, we asked the worker how much of each is a normal amount for two people and he worked it all out for us, it was much appreciated since we were in over our head. We also got a side of Jalapeño Bacon Mac n cheese, that stuff is good! Once we sat down and started to eat I noticed an employee(could have been the chef or manager, no idea what his position was there) but it was a larger man who was so friendly walking around helping clean tables and also asking if people needed anything(BBQ sauce, napkins, etc) but his main thing he was doing was going up to each table and thanking people for coming in and also asking what they thought of the food, he was extremely approachable and even joked with a baby in a stroller at the table next to us, it was really sweet and not the typical dining experience, he really seemed to care about the food and the people in the restaurant. In the end we had a good time and enjoyed we still had left overs for lunch the next day! We will be back!

Visiting Texas from California, and let me tell you something, we do NOT have BBQ meat like that in Cali! The staff was so helpful and nice from the second we walked in and mentioned it was our first time. Offered us free samples of both the BBQ turkey breast, as well as the BBQ brisket, both A plus! I did the pounder with meat, fully loaded with turkey breast. BESTPOTATOEVER!!! Everything was perfect, from service to the food, to the ambiance of the little restaurant with outdoor seating. Will be back again when in Texas!

Food — 3 Service — 3 Value — 3 My brother had a stopover at DFW for a few hours on his flight from Austin back to Santa Clara, and I decided to come here to grab an early dinner with him. With him having just been in Austin for a week, I was hoping this place would be somewhat close to what he had in Austin… boy was I wrong. The brisket was super-dry and the St. Louis Ribs were overdone. And for the price we paid, neither of us felt it was worth it. Service wasn’t as attentive as it probably should have been either. I will not be meating anywhere near here for BBQ in the near future.

I have been to this place several times now. Their German sausage is as good as it gets in Dallas. It is always perfect. Flavorful and dense but not too dry. The turkey and brisket rank up their with the best in the area as well. I have tried a number of sides and been very pleased. My favorite site is the pinto beans. It is delicious. The tiny pieces of brisket really add to the flavor. Their mac and cheese is okay, but not great. Their steak cut fries are really good especially when they are not overdone. Unfortunately, I have had them a bit over cooked before and that took away from the experience. I absolutely love the peach cobbler. It is pretty much a must for me when I visit. I think they have other dessert options but I haven’t been able to break away from the peach cobbler. They staff is always very friendly and they get you through the line in a hurry. Parking can be a challenge if you do not get there before 11:30am. It should be noted that they serve their breakfast burritos all day. I have yet to try them, but a number of people in line have raved about them. Maybe next time if I can resist my usual of a ¼ pound sausage and ¼ pound turkey. :) Meat U Anywhere ranks up their with Hutchin’s as a great all-around experience. A number of places can do the meats right, but fall short when it comes to sides. This is not one of them. I wish they had a location closer to my home, but luckily I work in the area and will continue to frequent them often.

Brisket anyone? Meat U Anywhere BBQ, is a great place to get brisket in the Grapevine area. The sides aren’t anything special, especially the mac ‘n cheese, but the fatty brisket, is worth checking out! The ribs are pretty decent, smoky, tender and flavorful. If you’re confused about ordering by weight, just ask. A ¼ pound of brisket is plenty for one. I ordered ¼ of brisket, one rib and the side of mac and that was plenty for lunch.

Oh what’s not to love? The only unlovable issue I have is their very deceiving name. Meat You Anywhere BBQ?! Will you please meat me in Central Florida? Pretty please? I am not much of a carnivore. Usually when the family says they want BBQ for dinner, I cringe and offer many other more pleasurable options. That all changed after a rendezvous ‘meat’ up with my hubby at this bad ass BBQ joint. I have never had such succulent, tender and juicy pieces of meat ever(Get your minds outta the gutter) I’m talking about BBQ folks. I’m just going to list my favorite meats, then sides, in order: Brisket — To die for and one would not even need teeth. It melts in your mouth. Ribs — These ribs beat our favorite ribs from the annual Pig Festival in Lakeland. Tenderloin — The name says it all. Not Your Mommas Coleslaw — Soooo awesome! No mayo, vinegar based. The bomb! Bacon Jalapeño Mac N Cheese — I was worried because I hate bacon. Can’t stomach it for nothing. The smell makes me ill. This was NOT typical bacon. It was more like ham. Delicious! Beans with Brisket — It’s not my thing, not bad. The hubby really enjoyed it! BBQ doesn’t get any better! I’d definitely return every single chance I had if we visit this area again! We weren’t the only non-locals either. Super nice couple that dines here every time they are here said it doesn’t get any better than this either. Note to owners: I don’t know if you compete in any cook offs but if you do, please meat us in Florida! You’d give them a serious run for the money!

All things considered, this is probably my favorite place to get BBQ in the entire DFW area. Which isn’t saying much. Nobody is going to confused this area with the Hill Country. But still, there are at least a handful of good places in the area – most of which opened in the past few years. Pecan Lodge is great – but it’s hard to park, expensive, and you have to wait an eternity if you want to eat at a normal meal time. Slow Bone is good, but inconsistent. Sometimes the meat tastes like it was actually set on fire. Hutchins(the original) is in the middle of nowhere. Lockhart is a pain to get to in Oak Cliff and the line is ridiculous in Plano. Plus, the people working there kind of seem like assholes. Cattleack has terrible hours, a terrible line, and is terribly inconsistent – although the brisket is always amazing and I love how they experiment with new and different meats and sides. Mike Anderson’s has better sides than meat and that doesn’t seem right. But I still like those stuffed jalapenos. Meat U Anywhere is basically perfect. Sure, it can be hard to get a seat if you go right at noon. And the price is a little higher than I’d like(unless you get the sandwich – which is a steal). But everything I’ve had on the menu is great. Brisket. Brisket tacos. Brisket sandwich. Stuff that doesn’t even have brisket – like sausage, chicken, mac & cheese, beans(possibly with brisket), and the best smoked turkey I’ve had anywhere.

The quality of meat here was definitely good. The staff was friendly and giving. The sides were good… the soda fountain was good… to my surprise the ham was favorite. I spent a day or two contemplating where I’d eat bbq when I landed in Texas. I am so glad that we decided to check out this spot. We were not disappointed whatsoever. First of all, the people who work here are super friendly and efficient. Order meat by the lb, pick some sides, and have a feast. For the 3 of us, we ended up getting ½lb of brisket, 1lb of ribs, ½lb of jalapeño cheddar sausage, cole slaw, bacon mac n cheese, and creamed corn. Don’t forget the slices of bread! The brisket was super tender and probably in my top 3. The smokiness was perfect and paired great with some of their bbq sauce. The ribs weren’t super fall off the bone but still tender. I absolutely loved the sausage. I mean, how could you possibly go wrong with jalapeño cheddar??? The mac n cheese was super legit. Get it. You must. The slaw was just average and the same went for the corn. I’d come back here again whenever I take another trip to Texas. 5 stars.

I grew up near the BBQ Capital of Texas, Lockhart, Tx. I’ve been looking forward to try this place out after a few friends mentioned the bbq. I grew up eating at Kreuz Market, Smitty’s and Black’s BBQ. They have all been consistently ranked by Tx Monthly as some of the best BBQ in the State of Texas. I mentioned this to Greg who was running the show today. He just smiled and said that they would all be a memory soon. There were eight in our party and everyone agreed that this was some of the best bbq in North Texas. I ordered Brisket, Ribs, Sausage, Jalapeño and Cheese Sausage, Mac and Cheese and Fries. The brisket had an incredibly beautiful bark on it. It was a little less salty than Lockhart area bbq. Nonetheless it was juicy and held good smoke without being overwhelming. The ribs were equally as moist and held on to the bone just enough not to be mushy like some other places present. A nice bite of tender pork. Both sausages were very good and not greasy. A bit less cracked pepper than traditional old style German sausage. The Mac and Cheese was infused with jalapeños without being overly spicy. I was allowed to take a tour of the back of the house where three different pits were working their magic. Service was prompt in the dining room. Everyone working there seemed happy they were there. We would all be happy if we were working there as well. Thanks for a grand time. I’ll be back soon.

i make sure i stop in here when i’m in grapevine. it’s absolutely incredible. service is 10/10, food is 10⁄10 — best experience. i stopped in for lunch and then came back with a friend for dinner. the brisket i had during lunch was more my speed than what i had at night — one of the guys heard me say that and explained why, and offered me a different cut to match what i had for lunch. of course it was amazing. the vinaigrette-based slaw is so good. mac and cheese. jalapeño sausage… brisket. wow, all so good. if you are in the DFW area, go here. do not hesitate.

Well our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Enough food to feed an army. The ribs, cheddar sausage and brisket were all super moist but felt it lacked the true smoked meat flavor. Felt as though the ribs were a little salty. The Mac and cheese was good too; enjoyed the spin w/penne pasta. Good food/service but not a place I would go running back to.

Excellent bbq! I have been wanting to try this place and had the opportunity the other day. I walked in and one of the guys handed me a sample. Great move because I was impressed. I ordered some ribs with jalapeño bacon mac and cheese and it was great. I even purchased a little brisket because I had my dog in the truck and I sampled that with him. No complaints from either one of us. They have an impressive smoking operation including the mobile pit. The only drawback I saw was the parking.

Breakfast tacos are aways on my radar, heard good things, gave it a try on a weekday around 8:30a. Brisket, egg and cheese, plus an order for chorizo, egg and cheese, each $ 3, to go order. Brisket had a good amount of meat, egg was a bit skimpy, cheese was ok. Brisket flavor was execllent, not the too fatty chopped up mess that sometimes you find in a non btaco place. Legit btaco, worth every penny, especially with the house salsa. Chorizo had a nice kick, higher quality meat than you normally get. So here’s why they get only 3 stars: the Chorizo btacos had… Chorizo, Chorizo and Chorizo. No egg, 1 piece of shredded cheese that I could see. Not sure what happened in the kitchen, out of eggs? Got distracted? Just a bad day? Who knows. As this was to go order, did not discover this until too far away to go back. So, the meats were better than normal, but the inability to do something as basic as getting the order right? Hmmm…

First off the service here is top notch. As soon as you walk in they give you samplings as you’re waiting on line. You can get meat by the pound, on a loaded potatoe or bun. I choose the loaded potatoe with beef brisket, Cole slaw and jalapeño Mac and cheese. Only in Texas cab you get some BBQ of this quality. Great little spot highly recommended.

Best BBQ in DFW! What they lack in parking, they more than double in friendly family service. I like how the brisket tastes like BEEF, versus some places that are too heavy with the smoke. The lean cut with some bark is our favorite. Notcha Mama Slaw is Asian style, which I prefer over mayo American slaw. The Steak Fries are thick but crispy. The Jalapeño Mac n Cheese has good flavor without burning you up(we’re a mild family, lol.) The meat sandwich is a perfect personal portion, without worrying over fractions of pounds to feed how many people. The country music is a bit too loud for conversation. I live next to a Lockharts, but I’ll drive across town for Meat U!

A friend of mine recommend Meat u Anywhere, he said that this was his favorite Texas barbecue place. My family had the beef brisket and a pulled pork sandwich. My son said the sandwich was very good. The brisket was very good, I would describe it as a solid«A». The only brisket that I’ve had that was better would be Franklin’s in Austin and Black’s in Lockhart. We will definitely eat at Meat u Anywhere agin, it is miles ahead of chain places.

Randomly searched for this place. Just wanted good bbq for lunch. They charge meat per pound, but they asked me how many meats I want on a plate so they could measure it out appropriately. I ordered the brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage. I got a small coleslaw and small Mac and cheese. Total came up to ~$ 18 for one person. But it was a good amount of meat. The sausage was good. Just enough spicy kick and cheesy flavor. Also had a crispy casing. The brisket was a little underwhelming. It had the appropriate appearance: good bark, smoke ring, moist. They were cut about ½inch thick. Very tender and moist. But I feel like the smokiness didn’t infuse all the way through. I only tasted it on the bark edges. Overall it was good but wasn’t amazing. The Mac and cheese was real good. It wasn’t soaking in sauce and had flavor, compared to other bbq Mac and cheese that are basically particles floating in bland cheese water. The bacon and jalapeños added good flavor but wasn’t overpowering. The coleslaw had good texture and flavor but was too sweet for my taste. I like KFC coleslaw, and this was about 2 – 3 times sweeter than I’d like. Place was easy to find and great customer service. Definitely worth a visit. I’d definitely try their ribs next time…

I drove by this place probably a dozen times. On the occasion that I had my window open, I smelled the tell-tale sign of good bbq… smoked, fat-laden protein being slowly reduced by hot coals. The allure was just too much. Can’t make it in for sit-down? Get take-out for the family. They really made it easy with valet. My first trip was the fatty brisket, jalapeño sausage, pulled pork and the notcha momma’s slaw. The brisket was too fatty for my tastes… when people were looking. When nobody paid me any attention, I stuffed fork-loads of taste into my mouth and I wasn’t disappointed. The jalapeño sausage was a bit spicy. Regardless, I felt I earned a badge of courage to sample the sausage that rewarded the brave with little pockets of cheesy goodness. The pork was great too, but I should have consumed it with a tart-mustardy sauce(either not available or I didn’t grab it). Good pork should always have something tangy and sweet as a partner(just my humble opinion). Sauce was good and a not-too peppery nod to the Texas Q Gods. With so many«new» Q spots in DFW, what’s nice is what sets a place apart. I always look for a combination of food, atmosphere and non-protein offerings. The location and feel have a bright future somewhere else. The Notcha Mamma’s Slaw was a nice differentiator for me. I like a good balance of fresh vegetables with my Q. It was a nice surprise — I remember eating something like it growing up. The ramen noodles and sweet vinaigrette go well with fresh cabbage — very nice. Second trip I tried the brisket and turkey. There wasn’t a morsel left behind. The brisket is in the top 3 I’ve ever tried — moist, not too smokey, an semblance of fat undertone with a perfect crust that represents a long smoky past. The turkey was different than I’ve ever had before. It had a smoke flavor, but was a thicker and moister cut than I’ve ever experienced. I prefer it to the drier cuts I’ve had from other places. It stands alone but gets better with a smidge of sauce. Last thought: I realized I can always eat here without the use of a knife. I can gently use the edge of my fork to make little forkfuls of satiating Q. Please don’t tell people about this place.

Unbelievably Good! Just met friends after work at MUA and it was utterly fantastic! From 12 of us, no one had a single bad comment about anything! Among us, we had Ribs, Brisket, Turkey, Pulled Pork, Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, German Sausage, Jalapeño Mac n Cheese, Beans, Slaw, Creamed Corn and Fries — and it was all great! For me, the Brisket was the hands-down star! Smoke-Ring, Bark, Tender, Smokey, Juicy — everything you could ask for. To top it off, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. It’s BYOB and they close when they run out, so what are you waiting for?

Ok, my BBQ lovers. Try to go way before the lunch rush. You will breeze through the line, grab a table and not deal with the crazy crowd. They have valet parking but if you get there early enough you should be able to find a spot right up front to park. Do not park next door there are tow signs everywhere. But let’s get to the MEAT! That’s the real reason why you’re reading this review. The owners put some tender loving care into their product. It’s tender, juicy and well seasoned. You won’t get none of that dried out stuff here! Try the smoked turkey. It has a zesty kick to it too as well as the BBQ sauce that they give you on the side. For $ 8 you can get a sandwich that comes with fries or a side. The sides to me are just okay. I have my eye on the banana pudding to try for next time. I’ve also heard nothing but good things about the brisket. You will come out of here smelling like smoked meaty goodness! It will be worth it too. Just go. They also have breakfast tacos so I hear!

I don’t give out 5-stars often, particularly with BBQ where my extensive travels have taken me to hundreds of(no exaggeration) BBQ restaurants, shacks and dives across the US. Meat U Anywhere thumps many of the Travel Channel’s Top 10BBQ Spots in the US. Thumps. Whether visiting(AT&T Stadium is only a 20-minute drive) or a local this place belongs on your must-eat list and I won’t be the first or last person to make that statement. Speaking of statements — Meat U Anywhere — please let your meat speak for itself, rather than your manager(or owner’s) words. It’s a major turnoff to wait in line for 10 minutes and have to hear you rant to the crowd about how you are real BBQ and places like Rudy’s aren’t because they don’t have large beef ribs, etc. There’s no need to put down the competition. The fact is Meat U Anywhere does a fantastic job at certain things and so does Rudy’s. Be classy. Respectful. Stand tall. There’s no need to bash. What makes this place stand out? Several things, but topping that list are a few adjectives you can’t mention — all in the same sentence — with most BBQ spots: tender, juicy, quality and moist. Normally, you’ll find one or two of those, but rarely all together. I admit, we didn’t order any of the traditional sides, but did head to the table with plenty of turkey(the turkey at Rudy’s is better), brisket, pulled pork and German sausage. The pulled pork was amazing. Most places can’t maintain moist with pulled pork, while still capturing flavor. Here they do both and more. It’s some of the best pork I’ve had, much better than the world famous pulled pork you find in Western North Carolina. All the meats are far better than average. The brisket had too much fat for my liking, but we all know fat spells flavor in many instances, as it does here. The brisket was near perfection. In fact, I can’t imagine anyone complaining about the meats here. They are that good — at least the four we tried. The only side we tried was the hand cut potatoes, which did rival the BBQ. They are fresh cut, cooked on site and well seasoned. In fact, I’d almost never order fries at a BBQ joint, but these are top-notch. Try them. A few things to remember: *During lunch or dinner parking is terrible. Good luck getting a spot and street parking is brutal. *Try the peach mango sweet tea — you don’t see it often. *The banana pudding is ok — but you’ll be too full to eat it anyway. *Get ready for large crowds. That’s what happens when you visit a small BBQ restaurant that’s very good. *Expect to leave full. *We saw one BBQ sauce. It’s average, but not necessary. The BBQ tastes good enough without sauce.

I think this may just be the best BBQ in the metroplex. I hate to say this, as it will only encourage others to try it, and that will make the lines even longer on my next visit. «Tender» “Moist and juicy” «Best I’ve ever had!» That’s not us talking. Those are our customers, who rave about our oak and hickory smoked brisket. And why shouldn’t they! We use our special dry rub and slow smoke our briskets to perfection. You’ll soon be adding your words to describe our signature meat I had a chopped BBQ Beef Sandwich. Honestly, the best BBQ Beef that I ever tasted. I also had the Not Regular Mom’s Cold Slaw. I loved it! BBQ sauce was awesome! Go for lunch, expect a 45 minute wait. It is not a big restaurant. Maybe, only 15 tables for dining in. I would advise take out. Valet parking for pick-up.

Still a 5-star joint but the cat is out of the bag. Since MUA was named in Texas Monthly as a Top 25BBQ joint in the STATE– this place has blown up. Getting here at 11:00 or 11:30a, you’re still waiting in a line out the door. The creamed corn is one of my favorite sides now and I feel like the BBQ sandwich is the best bang for your buck as you get about a 1⁄3 pound of meat plus a side. So, with a drink, you’re down $ 10 for a super tasty meal. But yeah, get here early now and be prepared to wait. The parking is still a nightmare– but the valet helps. Make sure to leave a small tip– that dude’s running all around trying to get cars in and out.

Great brisket, middle of the road pulled pork. I like the food here but there still is just a lot of oddities to the restaurant. I think the owners just decided they could figure everything out without professional help and it doesn’t work. The tables are laid out so poorly and tightly many tables get bumped into repeatedly. There is no relish station so if you want onions, peppers or pickles you have to go back and wait in line and order them, with the onions having huge chucks sliced like pickles. I still have no idea if I am supposed to clean my own table dice there is no clear place to discard things. Great brisket in an awkward setting.

Love this BBQ! I have had lots of Q and been to Taylor, Lockhart, Llano and Austin, so the heart of BBQ country in Texas and I love«Meat U Anywhere». My favorite is their brisket, so moist and not too much smoke. The seasoning is just perfect. The owner is usually onsite and the staff are very accommodating. Also, there is limited seating so beware that you will most likely share space with others. It’s a friendly place so enjoy! I am here at 1:00pm an Saturday and they have a long line out to the parking lot, so be patient. There is limited parking so use the complimentary valet service and save yourself the aggravation. They are opening a location in Trophy Club and can’t wait. It’s worth the drive if you live far away, make it a destination and go to Downtown Grapevine to shop or Southlake Town Center so much to do in the area. Love love Meat U Anywhere!

There’s a funny story about how I found MUA. Couple weeks ago, my wife was telling me about an «Anywhere BBQ» in Grapevine. Last weekend my neighbor was telling me about a «Meet You BBQ» in Grapevine. I looked them up and Meet U Anywhere BBQ came up. Lol. MUA gets a solid 4 stars. I love the brisket. It was smokey, moist, and tender. I just didn’t like the ribs. I heard they came out of Rudy’s which explains the ribs. I’ve always thought Rudy’s ribs were too salty. It’s the same at MUA. The sausages were very good. Homemade. I like the German. I grade my BBQ on the brisket so the ribs didn’t matter. Will RTE.

I understand the rave reviews on here now. I can always count on Unilocal to guide me in the right direction. I came here for lunch Friday to satisfy my BBQ craving, and to keep it simple, it was satisfied. If you’re driving down Wall St, you probably won’t notice it. It’s right next to a Kwik Kar. They offer complimentary valet as well, but their parking lot is small so it gets filled quickly. I just parked next door and walked over. The place was PACKED when I came. The line was almost outside the door, granted the place isn’t that big. There’s outside seating as well, which is a good spot when the weather is nice. I got my food to-go and enjoyed it outside since there was a nice breeze. The service was quick, so the wait wasn’t that long at all. Now on to the important thing, the food. I can go on and on about how good it is, but I suggest you try it for yourself! This is definitely the traditional BBQ joint. I ordered a sliced brisket sandwich, which comes with a side(I got the creamed corn), all for just $ 8! The corn was the best I ever tasted, creamy and rich while still staying true to the sweet nature of the corn. The sandwich was loaded with meat, and the BBQ sauce came on the side so you can choose how much you want on it. The sauce was more tangy than sweet, which was perfect with the side of creamed corn. This definitely filled me up and put me in a food coma, but it was so good to not finish! I will definitely be back to try their other meats(pulled pork, jalapeño sausage, smoked turkey, etc.) and awesome sides. Delish! Definitely worth the 10 – 15 minute drive from where I was!

I’ve decided that if I were elected ruler of the state of Texas tomorrow, my first executive order would be to mandate that all barbecue establishments serve breakfast tacos all day. In the meantime, I’ll just have to go to Meat U Anywhere, where their breakfast tacos warrant your attention asap. It’s not the best bbq in the city(I see you Pecan Lodge: ) and they don’t offer the best breakfast tacos(Good 2 Go: ), but the combination makes this a place that worth acclaim. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? I don’t like starting out with a negative, but it’s worth noting that parking is going to be a nightmare if you’re here during peak hours(especially lunch). They have valet, which is convenient if available but frankly unnecessary, but there’s a chance you may need to huff it a bit. Once you get inside? You’re good. Servers are fast and friendly, and while it’s likely that you may not have anywhere to sit, that’s a testament to MUA’s popularity. The atmosphere is a bit contemporary, and while Meat U Anywhere lacks the classic bbq pit right in front of you that you’ll find over at Hard Eight, the smells are enough to ensure that your wait is a pleasant one. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? It’s here that Meat U Anywhere truly can’t be beat — specifically with regard to the all day breakfast tacos. For a mere $ 2.50 you can get a very, very large breakfast taco with egg, cheese, and a meat of your choice. If you’re feeling extra manly you can opt for the ‘El Gran’ taco for only a dollar more, and I’m very serious when I say that the ‘El Gran’ could be a meal in and of itself. Both times I’ve been to MUABBQ I’ve gotten three tacos, and both times it was too much food. With that in mind, know that there is some serious value here. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Like I stated earlier — this wasn’t the best bbq I’ve had in Dallas, and I think I can chalk that up to the brisket lacking the crust that I’m used to at Pecan Lodge and the extra smokey flavor that they somehow pack into all of their meats. Additionally, the eggs that are generously portioned in each breakfast taco lacked any contributing flavor and resulted in just a dampening of sorts to the flavor of the meat. However, I’ve yet to find a suitable combination of Texas bbq and Texas breakfast taco until now. Come here for these tacos. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Yes, there’s room for improvement, but the simplicity of this affordable menu, the consistency of it all, and the uniqueness of the dishes available in tandem with those who serve it make Meat U Anywhere an option I could recommend daily. Star Granted.

Your ongoing quest for awesome BBQ in Texas should bring you to Meat You Anywhere BBQ in the fun city of Grapevine Tx. The BBQ here is at the most top of all notches when it comes to TXBBQ. You can’t go wrong with anything you order here. My favorites are the brisket, turkey, ham, sausage… Aww heck who am I kidding they are all my favorites! If you’re new to the restaurant ask for sample, Meat You Anywhere BBQ is very proud of their BBQ and it shows. The sides are really great here too, what stands out the most though is the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese here should be regulated as a class one narcotic because it is down right addicting. The sauces here are really good as well. You can eat it here or purchase bottles to take home. My only complaint about here is the parking. Luckily they have valet here, which is pretty darn crazy because it’s a BBQ restaurant. Ok I’m going let this sit for a few seconds. There is a BBQ restaurant in Texas that has valet parking. I must say ONLYINTEXASDOESTHISHAPPEN! If you’re here on business, on layover or you’re a local you must stop by and treat yourself to grade AAA+ Texas BBQ!
