Passion Lighting

Amazing place. We’ve been to several lighting stores all over the metroplex and have taken several catalog books home and haven’t been able to find anything we liked for months.
First time here today we found everything we had been looking for! We got new exterior lights, dining room table light, and a new entry way light. So happy with their selection and their willingness to help.
Highly recommend.

Compared to their website, Passion Lighting’s showroom was a big let down. The in-​store selection was overwhelmingly traditional. What really bothered me was that they refused to honor the prices available on their website in their store. If you purchase from one of their salespeople, you may end up paying more than if you were to purchase exact same item from Passion Lighting online.

This place has gorgeous light fixtures out the wazoo! Hubby and I decided this past spring to replace some butt-​ugly ceiling fans and pendant light fixtures in our 1995-​built house (what was with all that polished brass??) There we were early one Saturday morning freshly awakened from, well never mind that. Anyway, there I was for some reason staring at the ceiling fan in our bedroom. Polished brass, white lacquer body and blades. I felt ill. I said «Hubby, I can’t stand it anymore. Let’s go to Passion Lighting (we’d been there before when we redid our outdoor lighting the year before with something that didn’t look like Edison built it himself). So off we went to Passion Lighting. Not only was our bedroom fan a problem, but every other light fixture in the house was in close competition.
To make a long story short, this place is packed with great looking light fixtures of many styles. My neck was sore from looking up at the ceiling for so long. The light fixtures here not cheap, but they do seem reasonably priced for quality products. While we didn’t replace all of the fixtures in the house (at least not yet), we did replace about half a dozen. What a difference that made!
The staff at this store are very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a small-​ish locally-​owned store (with a lot of stuff) but not teeming with staff/​consultants. Don’t get me wrong, they have enough staff for the size store it is, but if you go on Saturday, go early if you want advice from one of the consultants and don’t want to have to wait too long (or make an appointment).
