Mmmm Mongolian noodles at its finest! I highly recommend everyone to stop by, especially if you’re on the way to Tahoe! Go and pack up on the protein as its an AYCE restaurant. They also have a Chinese menu that you can order off of. This restaurant is still pretty brand spankin new and it looks/feels like it! In a good way. Eric, the owner, definitely makes an effort to make sure his customers are taken care of and leaves happy/full. We got to chat it up with him and heres the low low: 1. Noodles… amazing quality. Trust me(cause I’m asian LOl) I go to a bunch of mongolian places in the bay area and none of them even come close to the consistency. I asked Eric about it and he was really excited to tell us that he did a tasting prior to opening this restaurant. This was the winning texture! 2. The veggie/meat station is well presented. Clean and well stocked. 3. Ummm… Unlimited soda. That’s already a plus in my book. You mean I can drink coca cola all day?!? 4. Easy accessible parking. Nothing beats walking less than 20 steps to an all you can eat. Thats how you’re supposed to roll. 5. Did I mention it is an all you can eat?!? No one can say shiet when I go back for fifths. Just a few notes; it is a buffet so no to go boxes if you do not finish. That’s common sense right? Also. I see a lot of complaints about the actual closing time. Kinda petty, no? The restaurant CLOSES at 9, meaning if you want to go, get it. If you want to dine, SORRYBRO. The RESTAURANT closes at 9. As in, lights off, doors locked, on the way home to feed the kids&sleep. If the food and service is good, why you knocking on nothing? A little high maintenance, no? I recommend this restaurant both for dine in/take out. Open for lunch and dinner. Great service, clean, fresh, tasty, and extremely affordable.

My parents ate here and got sick. They think it was from the chicken being under cook.

I was so happy to see GV was getting a Mongolian BBQ! We took our boys in for dinner and we were very pleased with the cleanliness, the food, menu and most importantly, the service. The staff were all so amazing! When we arrived my husband walked in and realized I was still at the car waiting for my youngest to get out. So my hubby walked out to check on us. Behind him was a courteous staff members checking to make sure everything was ok. Very cool. Then once inside we were treated as though we were the only people in there, which we weren’t. Not just the waitress checked on us throughout our dinner, but various staff would come by to check in and fill our drinks. Even when a group came in close to the closing hours, they were a bit drunk and loud, but the staff very patient and kind. We were finished our dinner well after their posted closing hours and they never rushed us out. We can’t wait to go back!

We decided to try the Mongolian BBQ, nothing from the menu. It was so-so. We enjoyed the veggies, but none of the meats impressed us. They were pre par-boiled and didn’t have much flavor. The hot & sour soup was good but egg flower soup was not. Many serving utensil handles were sticky. Overall, there just wasn’t much flavor! We had to try it out, but doubt if we’ll go back!

I really like this place. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. I have visited about 6 times so far since they opened and each time has been great. Several reviewers stated that going later in the evening created a poor experience for them. For me, I usually go between 5 and 7pm and it has been extremely consistent with the experience. In fact, I’m going there tonight for dinner.

We decided to try this place out a 2nd time now that grand opening is over. We are so happy we did. I am not commenting on the Mongolian grill because we did not try that. The table behind us did and it looked delicious. We did order Dinner C for 4, Hands down the best Chinese Nevada County and Auburn has to offer and the best I have had in forever. I will start with the service. We were warmly greeted and seated with menus. We were checked on several times while trying to decide. Once we ordered Our soup was served in a large bowl family style with small cups for all. We had sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, pork chow mein, rice and egg rolls. Everything was exceptional and fresh. The pork chow mein has huge strips of BBQ pork in it. The portions are very generous. I can not praise this establishment enough from the food and service to the warm gracious family who own 2 in 1 our family will be back time and time again. Thank you and keep up the great work… I can not recall having received such great service anywhere locally in a long time and that includes our finer dining establishments.

We bombarded this place with a huge group the other day, all our first time there… They totally accommodated us and we’re super friendly and helpful! We all did the Mongolian buffet and it was delicious! We were all really happy with our choices. The service here was great too! The owner Eric is very nice and made sure we were taken care of! I would definitely recommend this place! Don’t hesitate to try it out!

I’ve eaten there three times and walked away once. I walked away because it was packed with people. We haven’t ordered from the menu. I see no point in doing that. The Mongolian BBQ is excellent. I went there with my two daughters today who are very selective in what they eat. They loved the selections for the BBQ. You can even go back for more, but I’m always so full from my first round that I can’t add more. We’re going back again this week for a family get together. Oh, and the wait staff are super friendly.

Came here for dinner… Got old menus with half the items crossed out. Had to ask what the buffet was about. Very unclear how the restaurant operated. Me and my gf were not happy we felt confused… Disappointed we ordered off the menu and ordered way too much sub par food. The spring rolls were like the ones u get in bulk from the freezer section of the grocery store, the won ton soup(my fav. usually) was bland and tasteless. The main dishes were okay at best… I couldn’t say I would have trusted the mushrooms in our dish and the sweet and sour sauce tasted like red colored corn syrup. Hardly could eat anything and enjoy it… Long story short thirty dollars down the drain. Might try the buffet if I ever decide to return.

So, so good! I have been to Mongolian restaurants(not chains, but independent ones) that do have a bit more variety when it comes to the things you can put in your bowls, but they are very reasonably priced, the food is delicious, and the selections they have to put in the bowls are standard– in a good way, of course. The service was a little bit disorganized, but it seems like they are just finding their footing, which is totally normal and to be expected. In spite of this, the waitstaff was very nice. I would definitely recommend them!

We ordered the Chinese food from the menu. The Sweet & Sour Prawns, the Schezuan Beef, the House Fried Rice, and the Egg Rolls were all very yummy! We have lots of leftovers! I will definitely go back again for the Chinese food. Looking forward to trying the freshly grilled Mongolian BBQ that they cook right there in front of you. Friendly service.

Very good food, reasonably priced, and a welcome change of pace for the area. If you don’t support such restaurants don’t complain about lack of choice in eateries.

This review is mostly based on 2 visits to this new Grass Valley restaurant. The first time I went I enjoyed they DIY mongolian grill. The young owner was talking to us the whole time saying how his new business was all about the local Grass Valley customers, even though he and his workers do not reside here, and come in from East Sacramento everyday. I was surprised that when I returned to eat with my wife for dinner a few days later at 8:15, he was at the door immediately to tell us we had 15 minutes to eat. I asked him why, since it said on Unilocal that he closes at 9:00. He said, «sorry, just order take-out.» This place is an all you can eat Mongolian BBQ that charges the same price for a small to-go container as someone that is dining there and eats 7 plates.

This review is for the Mongolian Grill, I haven’t eaten from the menu. Nice, clean and well organized food area with a good selection of veggies and sauces. A sign indicates that vegerarians or people with food alergies can request a grill cleaning before their bowl is cooked, and I think vegetarians in general will be happy with the veggie selection. I’ve tried all the meats and have not been disappointed, but for me the pork and beef stand out as the tastiest. Service is very attentive, and the owner is friendly. Only drawback is you might have to wait a few minutes for a table because there will likely be a line.

I love this place for my Chinese food or a diy Mongolian BBQ for all you can eat! The staff here are really nice and customer service is definitely their priority. I love the atmosphere and the idea of this restaurant. Can’t wait until I return again!
