My toddler and I had an excellent experience here! Coming from out of town I was already unsure about how the experience was going to be, but the man working in there was fantastic!
He was immediately helpful (I haven’t been to a laundermat in at least 3 years) on the best washers and dryers to use. But most of all during our entire time there, he treated my 3 year old toddler like one of his own grandchildren :). He had my son help him get quarters out of machines and taught him how the change machine works, and then helped him wash his hands afterwards.
Because of his generosity and kindness we had a great experience for our first time being in Grass Valley. A single experience at a local business in a new town can give you an overall impression of the town, and he really made us feel welcome!
He also told us about a local event going on downtown that we decided to attend and it was great! Overall very positive experience.

I do not recommend the dry cleaning service. I brought in a dress with a small nickel sized salad stain in the middle of the dress. The woman who took the dress said she would «note» the stain but did not do so in my presence. I have since realized a good dry cleaning service will put tape on the stain (s) in the customer’s presence. When the dress was returned «cleaned» there were three long stains down the front of the dress. When I paid for the dress I was NOT told the stain (now 3 stains) could not be removed. To return home and find my garment was in worse shape than when I brought it in was frustrating to say the least. Unfortunately I will not trust this business for any future dry cleaning needs.

Launderland is a very clean and decent laundry mat. I have been to only a handful of laundry mats in my time but Launderland is by far the nicest. It is clean and safe and people don’t generally hang out there in a scummy way like at some places. They have industrial sized washers, that are; yes 4 – 5 bucks a piece but it is worth it because they fit tons of laundry. The dryers can go on very high heat and i can get loads dry in 20 – 30 minutes easy. The owner/​manager is usually always there (because they do full dry cleaning also) so he is very helpful and your things are very safe if you pop out for a while to wait for your laundry. Also very conveniently located right next to a safeway, port of subs, CVS, and other small cafes. Also a lot of counter space for your things and to sort and fold your laundry. I have only lived in Grass Valley for a while but have been here several times and would probably not go anywhere else.

we dropped off a couple of comforters, turns out they don’t do it on site, but we were still able to get them back in 24 hours.

This laundramat is fine but it just isn’t as good as Gold Run on East Main Street. There isn’t a lot of room to fold clothes. There is no wifi. The dryers took 50 minutes to dry a small load. The one plus it has going for it is that there is a bathroom.

The best laundry mat in town. Seriously… I have tried them all.
I have my own washer and dyer now but I seriously miss going here. Weird… I know. I enjoyed grabbing a cup of coffee (flourgarden and starbucks right next door), reading or watching the characters that came in. plus getting all my laundry done in 2 – 3 hours!
Patrick keeps the place clean! The prices are good. The location is perfect.
If you don’t have the luxury of owning a washer/​dyer, come here!

Great place to go to. Patrick is very helpful and the place is usually clean. The variety of machines is helpful. The best dryers in town. Plus free wifi from port of subs or Safeway.

They pick up and drop off dry cleaning at our office. Patrick the owner is a great guy with great service. Their prices are reasonable and the cleaning is great.

This place will pickup your laundry and dry cleaning at your home, once a week, and deliver last week’s at the same time. They email you the bill, so you can leave a check with your stuff outside the front door if you can’t be home. Their prices are competitive with the places where you have to drive there, then wait, and wait, and wait.
