CiCi’s Salon

Just came under new ownership and the new owner did a great job. Trying out a new look at she nailed it fairly well. Very professional and am excited to go back for maintenance.

Walked in and Jessie said she would be with me in minutes. She had me in the chair in that time. We discussed what I wanted and she preceded to cut my hair exactly like I asked. She was professional, kind, and she knew we hat she was doing. Thank you Jessie for a great, affordable experience.

My boyfriend took my son here for a haircut and the owner of the shop cut my son’s hair. She did such a horrible job we had to take my son some where else to get his hair recut. And on top of that she cut my son three times behind his ears. We will never be returning to this horrible place.

The new owner did what I asked her to do – good quality but not very much creative input. She’s very pleasant and I’d give her establishment 4 stars for ambiance and customer service. It’s just that the hairstyle was completely up to me and I expect a little more from a pro.

Great hair cut! The new owner is Great! Jessie is making some updates and upgrades to the place. The location is easy in easy out. The best for me is no appt necessary. 15 bucks for a men’s hair cut is awesome.

Apparently a lot of men go to this salon but I had my hair cut by a Jesse and she did a great job. I had a complicated cut request and she was really diligent about getting it just the way I wanted. I’ve had lot’s of compliments on my edgy-​pixie and to any hesitant ladies, I definitely recommend checking it out! You can’t beat the price.

Ever since moving to the area I have been looking for a good barber. I went one day on a whim to CiCi’s and met Paul. Great guy. Too bad though he no longer works there. Today I had a new barber, Chad. Nice guy, great haircut. Did exactly like I asked for. Hopefully he sticks around longer than Paul.

I’m writing a new review as they’ve recently had some major changes.
The owner became busy and sold the business to a friend, who was the only one working there at the time I came in. It seems they have had bad luck with the employees that have been coming through, so I recommend that you don’t get attached to any one employee here.
While the new owner isn’t bad, I think she went just a little bit chop-​happy when she was cutting the top of my hair (disconnected undercut). Regardless, I was happy with the result, especially considering that it was only $ 15.
As a side note, the newly renovated space, while not finished, looks great!

Wonderful place! I’ve been going here practically since it opened. Highly accommodating to walk-​ins. Everyone who works there is great at their job and always provides fun conversations. My personal favorite is Paul, the newest addition to the business. He’s a fantastic barber and has been able to cut my hair exactly how I want it. Absolutely no complaints here.

Best place in GV to get a haircut. Crystal and Paul are great and fun to chat with. (ask and you can get rinsed after).
10^th haircut is free!

Met Paul today. Heck of a fun guy to talk to, great haircut, wife liked it, all is well in my world! I will be going back!

Been coming here close to since it opened on a monthly basis and I also take my daughters (13 and 15 years old) to get their hair done here. Crystal always cuts my hair exactly as I want and my girls have both always been totally happy with the cuts they have gotten. Looking forward to coming in when both girls need their hard done for special events! I’ve gotten my hair cut in many other places in Grass Valley and this has been the best and most affordable!

Every 3 to 4 weeks I visit the Pioneer Village in downtown GV & hit up CiCi’s .
Tiffany has cut my hair for the past 5 years + … All without a complaint. She’s great.
Grass Valley /​Nevada City is full of complete shit-​heads cutting /​styling hair. But I don’t find this place to be like that at all — very nice experience each time.
Good spot for Men, Woman and children…

I have never actually been to this location, but I have had my hair done by cici of in the past before this salon was open. Wonderful job and I can’t wait to see the new salon!
