The prices of meat are over priced compared to other grocery stores in the area. I live on a fixed income and I can’t afford to pay three times more than other stores. I’m not sure why the prices are so much higher than Safeway or Grocery Outlet but they are. I just can’t afford to waste my money there.
The staff is always friendly and helpful though.

Mostly a good store with friendly staff. Actually you can tell they are ordered to speak to you, so much so that it really sounds phony. Lighten up a little Please! Sometimes the same person will ask me if I am finding what I am looking for 3 or 4 times in 10 minutes or so. I said maybe I would be able to if you would let me focus on my shopping! That was hilarious, but True!
Seriously though, there is one 50 something woman who works in The Butcher Block meat section. Not Good helping people! I have asked her several times for a pound fish fillet or a couple dozen of the smallest clams and she says «They are ALL the same!» How rude compared to other stores who will cut the smallest piece of fish you want. I will not shop the Butcher Block when I see her there. I will bet you she has a relative for the manager because she is so bad for the store! Seriously!
Lots of good friendly people there otherwise!

I really like their selection. Their prices are good and there bakery is awesome. Store is clean and so far staff has been very nice. Probably my favorite market in this area so far.

This is about their so-called express lane. Numerous times a person who can’t read or can’t count or who just doesn’t care, gets into the express line with 30 or more items and causes a slow down and back up. The clerks never say anything to these people, not even so much as remind them that it is the express Lane and that next time they should use the regular check out, in addition, they never express any sympathy for the people waiting in line. I find it very annoying and have decided that the next time I’m blocked by such a person and nothing is said, I will simply leave my basket and walk out, rather than patronize the establishment.
