Reading others reviewing this made me want to add to the mix. I’m not a coffee house person, rarely go into any of them locally. I spent a good 5 minutes looking over the menu and decided on a simple Latte. After being served, I thought the flavor was bland and by the time I finished realized they foamed the milk but forgot, or intentionally didn’t put any espresso into the cup. I think it was either plain incompetence or spite since they probably realized I was an old guy who took forever to check out the menu. Obviously, I won’t go back.

This isn’t to spotlight the drinks because let’s face it everyone knows who and what Starbucks is. This review is because of the amazing customer service we had from Sam. Who is awesome. She was funny and personable. Was able to keep up with 4 different people shouting orders at her and had us laughing out loud. She literally infused our drinks with awesome. At 8:30 on a Friday night she made the Starbucks drive thru the place to be. Thank you Sam for being a rockstar and giving us a wonderful experience.

Always inconsistent! Ugh… my drinks never taste the way other Starbucks makes them. Such a disappointment when you spend five bucks on a cup of coffee. However, their service has always been on point with me. That’s why I keep trying to go there and am giving them 3 stars.

they take orders but they mess up a vunch of orders their lattes are fine their frappes are fine but they have terrible service. i love the content of starbucks and what they have to offer but service is not one of their high qualities and i think its really stupid that they got rid of the savory squares, those were perfect.

Starbucks! Wtf! Seriously, hire some better workers That say hello and crack a smile occasionally. Also, The trash cans are regularly overflowing with trash. The employees are usually talking loud about their weekend excursions for everyone to hear in the store. This place needs a new manager to step up. It feels very unprofessional.

Big new location. Drive-thru, so don’t expect quick interior service. Wi-fi of any kind seems a rare offering in the area. So this location, even with its mediocre — okay, downright crappy — wireless transfer speed, has been in daily demand by local workers & players. Outlet-supplied seats can be readily identified by their residency by patrons nursing a lone tepid beverage for multiple hours. Baristas seem congenial, if not ideally attentive. Only SBUX in Grass Valley/Nevada City megalopolis.

It’s a Starbucks! Coffee is always consistent. This location has many college student employees. They seem to take pride in their job as a barista. They offer bench seating as well as leather chairs. The lighting is favorable. The bathrooms are clean and well looked after. The one star down grade is due to the parking. It’s limited and the spaces are very small when compared to the size of the SUVs and pickup trucks. They offer drive thru service.

Came here with my friend to get a coffee on our way home. Our drinks were incorrect which is very disappointing because Starbucks has such a high standards on getting a drink right the first time. We were in a hurry so we did not have time to get drinks remade. This is not what I expected from Starbucks normally having a great experience every time I come. Will not be visiting the Starbucks when in the area will go to a different location, was very disappointing.

Rudest employees ever!!! Wanted to use my birthday reward and the cashier yelled at me! I will drive all the way to Auburn before I give them my business!

I will miss their coffee but today I was asked to leave my table because it was reserved! Really? Didn’t know starbucks made reservations? The shift lead said he forgot to mark it, no offer to relocate my stuff, just vacate that table! Well, I added up my purchases, spent over $ 200 in only 3 weeks time, looks like I just got a raise… done with this place!

Everytime I go to this Starbucks at Safeway the table, seats, and floor are dirty with crumbs everywhere. The floors haven’t been mopped either Plus there are no electrical outlets to charge phones & pc’s. The Starbucks off Mc knight is clean, and has electrical outlets.

I’ve been to this location twice now, and ordered a mocha Frappuccino. The first one had no chocolate, the 2nd had to much. The place had full trash cans and no drink cozies. Not going to this Starbucks again. Better get your coffee from Auburn.

Stopped by on one of the busiest travel days of the year to find out they are out of peppermint and all apple cider drinks — not smart! My husband who can’t have caffeine and son who can’t have dairy left empty handed. Seriously, how hard could it be to run across the street to the grocery store and replenish?

Filthy and Rude! The man who took our order was somewhat impatient, although there was nobody in line behind us. He open mouth yawned right in front of us. The store, although a lovely Starbucks, was absolutely filthy! The counter where the barista placed our drinks was covered with puddles from numerous drinks that had been made prior to our order. .I had to get napkins to wipe off the bottoms of our cups. There were spills, splatters, and garbage on the counters and floors. The garbage can was full. The ladies’ restroom was out of order; the men’s restroom was filthy and nearly out of soap. The outside signs on two sides of the building are half lit. What a disappointment!

The service at this Starbucks is terrible. I’ve walked in numerous times and the girls behind the counter will all look and see that there is a customer but will continue on with their personal conversations and random BS rather than doing their job. All the coffee and foods are obviously the typical Starbucks stuff so this review has nothing to do that.

By far the WORST Starbucks ever! The guy working couldn’t figure out how to use my free drink reward on my phone. Pretty sure you click a button. The bathroom is SO beyond dirty. I am hoping the health inspector needs to use it. Still advertising drinks they no longer carry. I’m so disappointed.

I love Starbucks … And normally have nothing at all bad to say. However this particular location is always dirty when I come here. Very sad for such a great place. I won’t stop coming here however I really hope they clean up the place ;(

I feel that this is a pretty good Starbucks. The parking lot is better then many and there is a modern lobby with plenty of comfy seating. The wifi seems to get bogged down with light traffic so don’t plan to get much data for free. The staff is pretty well trained and I consistently feel treated well when I visit this Starbucks. They have honored expired coupons and make sure that I’m happy with my experience. I enjoy bringing the kids for a hot chocolate on a rainy day. Their offerings are usually satisfying.

This is a very large Starbucks. The drive through and inside was packed this weekend. Probably because it is one of the only ones in the area… I did notice they ran out of the flat lids for some of the drinks. Overall, good to go

I would normally never review a Starbucks, but this place has slowly become a regular stop for me & I felt I had to offer a counterpoint to some of the other reviews here. If you’re in the downtown GV area & you don’t have time to swing over to Curly Wolf in Nevada City, this Starbucks is really your only bet for good coffee. Consequently, I find myself swinging through here a lot &, though I’m a total coffee snob(& would typically eschew SBs for an independently-run place), the people here are just so damn friendly & nice that they finally won me over. Maybe I’m getting old or uncool or something, but I kinda LIKE having friendly, over-caffeinated people greet me like they’re actually GLAD to serve me(insert timeworn joke about sullen hipster baristas here…). I also LOVE the starbucks phone app which is super convenient(why don’t all coffee shops have one?). But bottom line: what makes this location is the employees. The friendly greetings and stellar service keep me coming back. Thanks, folks, you’re doing a great job.
