I am very aware of the owner’s rudeness. The last incident was very recent.

We stopped in to take a family photo today at this studio. We thought it would be something fun. It was a horrible experience. The woman in charge was incredibly rude. From the moment we walked in the door she approached us with nervous apprehension. She argued about weird small superfluous details, wouldn’t let us choose our clothes, repeatedly insulted the females in the group, clacked around in 8 inch heels shouting, was nervous about the costumes(that are not premium quality), and basically made the experience as unpleasant as humanly possible. The photographer was very good and amiable– but the entire experience was overshadowed by this woman’s horrible energy. It was so NOT fun(and very expensive). If you use this studio request to have just the photographer.

Well, True Grit certainly gave me a birthday I could never forget! However, it was not an experience I would have chosen for myself, my friends, or their children. I must say that the photos were excellent, and the shoot was fun, but the way we were treated at this place was borderline unacceptable. I made a reservation for 5 people a week prior to my birthday, and the man that owns the studio told me that if more came, «no big deal, its more money for us.» That statement may have been true for him, but it was certainly not true for his wife. At the time of the photo 2 additional adults and children had joined the group. As soon as she found this out, any chance of us having a good time was over. She immediately starting barking at the children, snapping orders/complaints at the adults, and fully projecting the idea that me and my friends we going to destroy her studio. I think we were in the building for 2 hours, and she treated us with a cold, annoyed, yet passive aggressive demeanor the entire time. Eventually she kicked us out, sending me on my way with a personally addressed birthday insult, in addition to a few free photos(that I presume were free because she recognized she was being terrible). My recommendation to those that may want an old time photo taken; Let the lady know how many people will be there, and stick to that. IF you bring children, please understand that she dislikes them, and give her notice so that she can mentally prepare for such«madness.» It is my sincere hope that we came on a «bad day», and that the owner doesn’t make a habit of treating her customers like crap. In fact, I will be returning to see for myself.

Came here with the family spur of the moment Idea. We had a great time. We went with the old time southern clothing staff was great with my little 7 year old brother. He came in refusing to take any pictures, and by the end of the photo shoot he was the star. The whole thing lasted about 30mins. The men looked great and so did the girls. I loved that we were able see our pics immediately. As soon as the photo was taken it was on the Ipad that was a cool touch. If your looking for something fun and different this is the place. :)
