I like J n N’s! Foods always good, people are always nice, and the game is always on the TV. My bro in law may not, but I do. We’re from New York, were the standard for pizza is extremely high and we get violent if it doesn’t meet our standard. J n N’s may not be NY pizza, but it’s got a great property of its own. Doughs soft yet crunchy, über cheesy, and they don’t skip out on the toppings. And the sandwiches are pretty pimping too. I live a couple of miles away, so they are going to be seeing a LOT of me :). I’m a fan JnN!

Last night the steak on the salad had a very«old» taste. Almost spoiled. The sweet potato wedges we cold. They tasted like they had been frozen and barely heated. My husband & son had pizza a couple of weeks ago & could not eat more than ¼ of it & They will eat anything. On a better note service was good. Won’t go back.

Jess ‘n’ Nic’s pizzeria packs a lot of quality and variety into their menu and restaurant. As you might expect, the pizza is great. But they also offer a surprisingly varied menu that has evolved, like the establishment, over the years. In addition to a variety of pizzas, I’ve had various subs/sandwiches and was truly impressed with their delicious, grilled steak salad. Friends and family swear by other offering, including Italian-American red sauces, meatballs and the like. The casual dining atmosphere is lively and nicely lit. It’s a cheerful place to eat with friends and family and has become a «go-to» eatery for residents in Gray and New Gloucester. They have optimized the available space to include all the trappings of quaint, casual dining as well as a small bar and a booming carry-out. They don’t take reservations as a rule. But if you have a large party they will try to accommodate you on a Monday or Tuesday… typical policy and sound business practice for a restaurant whose dining room seats 75 and whose bar seats 14.

Three words: white Greek pizza. It’s AMAZING!!! Truly — it’s so good, I don’t want to order anything else! So I always go with a group and we do some sharing! Buffalo Wings are yummy — good heat, and flavor to boot!!! The classic pizzas are always good, satisfying with a good crust. LOVE the pastrami sandwich — a classic with a good cut and seasoning– and real yellow mustard — nothing goes better! The prices are decent, you don’t leave feeling broke. My only real complaint is the cheap wine glasses — they need a step up for sure! Worth a trip or two or five!

I like this place. When I arrive in Maine and want food near my sister in laws place, I always am happy I came here. No dealing with the dreadful«I’m too sexy for my shirt» aging would be hipster places in Portland, but decent service, good food, and surprising good Italian food from an area that could not claim any DNA from south of the St. Laurence River. I’m a burger and and wings guy, and this place does well on both counts. the wings are true to the buffalo mantra, which to the uniformed, is butter, tabasco sauce and the fryer. Not frozen when they make the plunge, will yield a nicely chewy, toothsome, gnaw that so well pairs with ice-cold brews of an impressive offering. When I implored my server if I could have my burger less than well done, she put a hand on my shoulder and said, in a low voice, «Honey, the menu says you should cook them well. It is a suggestion, not a declaration. How would you like it?’ «Medium rare, please!’ I happily answered, and thus it was so. Swiss cheese and bacon goodness did follow me throughout the meal. And the thick-cut fries were terrific. My wife had, on the two occasions we were there in a week, a cheese quesadilla and a chef’s salad. Wonderful on both. My sister and Mother in law, neither any kind of foodie, were well satisfied with their steak sandwich and tuna melt. My MOL took half home for the next day. it will be, for me, always a Maine stop.

Try the Tuna salad, the best I have ever had. Great experience and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Great place for authentic Portland-style pizza. The burgers are quite good, although the fries are a bit mealy and bland so avoid them. Staff are quite friendly and attentive. Overall quite a nice, inexpensive dining experience.

Excellent burgers and fries, very good pizza and beer selection, friendly staff. Kids welcome. Perfect alternative to the grim rest station along the highway.

Love this place. Skip the burgers, but you can’t go wrong with the pizza — the Buffalo Chicken is one of my favorites anywhere.

This is my «no one can make a decision about dinner” joint, since it’s within walking distance to my apartment. Good neighborhood feel; kind of an «where everybody knows your name» kind of place. Good pizza and happy hour specials. Just one pet peeve of mine – the mushrooms are canned so I avoid them as a pizza topping. Would prefer fresh.
