I know most people are not surprised to see the one star rating at a McDonald’s restaurant but my review will hopefully shed some light on why this was necessary. Driving north on I-75 and decided to get a treat and a drink. I pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered a .49 ice cream cone. Not a hard order but I knew I was in trouble when I pulled ahead and there were 13 other cars waiting in line. Needless to say I waited thinking it wouldn’t be that bad. Unfortunately it was worse! I watched as two employees walked out of the restaurant and got in their cars and left. After TENMINUTES I was able to finally pull up to the drive-thru window and was handed a cone that was sagging and melted. I asked for the manager and Cheryl came to the window and didn’t even greet me but said, «Yeah, I know it’s melted but we can’t keep up with demand». I asked what took so long to move the drive thru customers through the line and she said that they were short handed. I asked why she would have two employees punch out and leave while she admitted she could not keep up. This is poor management and this restaurant is a fine example of why so many people have given up on this chain. It could be so much better with proper planning and management. I will not return to this restaurant. Trust.

This isn’t that big of a problem, but it comes down to customer service. I have tried to get a coffee with cream twice now through the drive thru, and BOTH times they have failed to put in cream. I even asked the guy pouring the coffee the second time if he put cream in, and he told me yes. I guess we’ll find another spot for coffee. Like I said, customer service…
