the well is a funky place downstairs off of main street in GB. Ive been there a handful of times, sometimes the food is better than others. Last time I went was with the family… bad artichoke dip, good lava lamps. Ok burger, good shrimp po boy. a mixed bag but the kids enjoyed. I will prob be back. nice waitress.

I don’t drink so this review is only about the food. The BF and I came in here on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the shrimp po boy and the BF ordered a chicken salad of some sort. The food was particularly good for bar food standards. It’s a small space so I can see how it can get crowded. This is a good place to come in for a quick yummy bite.

So I’m going to start off with the Wings since their «famous» for this. They are pretty fantastic, not gonna lie. The best in Great Barrington, but in my opinion, not the all time best though I would order them every time I come.
The winner here is the pulled pork. I got the pulled pork quesadilla and let me tell you I wanted to order 2 – 3 more even though I was full. I’ve had some good pulled pork before let me tell you but this is pretty darn good. Not the all time best but one that I would definitely brag about. It’s worth it to stop in and grab a pulled pork sandwich!
My wife got the Chicken Taco Salad in the freshly made tostada bowl and that was just as amazing. The consistency is great and their guacamole is fantastic. This is a place I will definitely be visiting again when I am in town. The prices are also pretty decent for a place in Great Barrington.
