Food has still been good but the last few times I’ve been in here to get takeout the service has been lackluster, the staff at times seem confused about their own menu and can come off as rude. I also agree with what another reviewer wrote, they tried charging me dinner prices for lunch. Not cool.

Over the years, my friends and I have become regulars at Shiraz. We are always treated extremely well, and the food has never disappointed. We always leave satisfied with our meal, the service, and the overall experience. Customers are always treated to complimentary appetizers and dishes. The main course comes with their special «White Sauce» which is the stuff of the heavens. It’s really to die for, make sure you ask for it! They’re most famous for their selection of Kabobs, and my personal favorite is their Shawarma (with white sauce of course!). My friends and I look forward to seeing Benny, the manager/​owner of Shiraz, during our biweekly outings here, as we’ve gotten to know him so well over the years. He’s like family to us now. Always ask for a tea after your meal, you won’t regret it!

Came here with a friend. At first the two of us were looking at the menu and were not quite sure what anything was. The bar tender, who turned out to be the owner, came over and told us what everything was. Eventually we ordered. The food was delicious! When I woke up the next morning, my tummy was still full of food :-D This place is really clean, and the staff are friendly. Be sure to come there and be starving, because the food really is that good! Oh, and try the tea. It’s a nice finishing touch to the meal.

Shiraz aka Danny’s has been a Great Neck Kabob establishment for the greater part of the last decade. Famous for their ‘Danny’s White Sauce,’ their Chelo-​Kabob specials satisfy the most discriminating of palates. Mordechi, the restaurant’s proprietor, is a second generation restaurateur who delivers only the best. Enjoy an authentic favorite

Not recommended at all. We found some foul things in our food and they over charged us for the food (they have two prices — lunch and dinner but even when you eat lunch they charge you the dinner price which is more expensive).
DO NOT GO THERE or you will be sorry.
