This was a 1st time for us. It will not be our last. The pretzels where great. Only issue was needs more cheese sauce. The ribeye steak sandwich was no lie, OUTSTANDING. Top 2 steak sandwiches Ever. Sat at the bar and tender was attentive and helpful. We will come back.

Been here twice for drinks at the bar and was happy with the service there. Just went and got a table to have some food and beer while watching hockey games. Two of us split 20 wings, the stuffed tater tots, and the pretzel sticks. They were able to split the 20 order of wings into two sauces, we had garlic parm & Cajun, Asked for them extra crispy and they were cooked perfectly– finished on the grill. Seasonings were good, didn’t love the. Cajun but it was ok. The tater tots were good, would have liked more filling in them. The pretzels were good, but the mustard and cheese dipping sauces can’t hold a candle to their counterparts at the Gennesee Brew House(what I now compare all pretzels to). Our server was great, attentive but didn’t seem bothered when we weren’t sure what we wanted when she came to take orders. We will definitely be back!

I actually quite enjoyed this sports bar in Greece — craft beers on draft, such reasonable prices, a combo of bar/tables/booths, interesting menu(for a bar) and friendly servers. Lots of TVs as well. The strip mall aspect makes it less than appealing, but once you get inside, that factor fades away. The chicken tenders are excellent. Corned beef was so-so. I’d be interested in going back to try a burger or the shepherds pie. All the appetizers were interesting — you can buy stand-alone Mac and cheese for $ 7, which is kind of unusual… and also pretty cool. Lots of specials. A good choice for pub grub, beers and sports.

I’ve been to Paddy’s dozens of times but this time around they had a new look. It looks like they remodeled or at least redecorated and it came out great. I also noticed they changed the name from Paddy’s to Paddington’s to go along with the new look. We came by on a Sunday to watch the late game. They probably had 8 – 10 tv’s around which was fine but I would have loved if they had turned up the volume of the game. We ordered a few rounds of drinks and apps. The pretzel sticks were good. They came with two dipping sauces; spicy mustard and a white cheese sauce. We also ordered fried pickles but I wouldn’t recommend this. They were thin, oily, and very bland. The sauce was that dishes only saving grace. Who wants to coat their food in a sauce to eat it? No thanks. We’ll be back here for drinks but I dont know if I’d come back specifically for football.

Not sure if anyone really works here. 5 people at the bar, no bartender, no waitress. Waited 10 minutes & left

Stopped in for the first time tonight for dinner. Atmosphere was very inviting. The server came over within minutes of us sitting down to take our drink order and answer any questions. I got a beer and my BF had a mixed drink. The server was very knowledgeable of the liquors avail. We ordered the Friday special fish and chips and the Reuben Sandwich. Delish! The fish and chips came with an awesome fresh vinegar cole slaw and fries. The fish was not oily and you had a choice of battered or breaded. I suggest the breaded it was crispy and very tasty. The Reuben was perfect sliced corned beef with tasty dressing and sour kraut. Came with house made chips and dill pickle slices. Our server came to check several times during the meal. The cost for drinks and our meals came to $ 35 which is very reasonable for what we had. I’ll be back with family and friends to try some of the other menu items.

I was in Rochester visiting family and we decided to go to this place for a couple of drinks and appetizers. At first, all seemed well. Our drinks were given to us on time, the server read off the specials by memory, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately after that, things went downhill from there. We ordered pretzels and the polenta special. The pretzels were rubbery but ok. The mustard was nothing special. And the cheese for dipping was cold. The polenta had way too much truffle oil on it which made it inedible. We told the server about the polenta and instead of taking it off our bill, they insisted on giving us an apple crisp to compensate. We didn’t want it but, they insisted. We also ordered a beer that took eons to get to us. They then brought us the beer, and then another one. They said to keep the extra beer for no extra charge. We get the check and they charge us for the polenta and the extra beer… umm what?!? We wanted to get out of there so we paid the check and left. Very disappointing but I would give it another shot.

Our night started out very promising. Think about deep fried pulled pork stuffed jalapeños, sounds all sorts of awesome, right?! Well in theory it was, but it was mostly a cheesy filling devoid of pork and one had the filing fried out of it. Was really hoping for a mostly puked pork filling. Very disappointed. I got the reuben. While it was good there wasn’t a good balance between the meat, dressing, and sauerkraut. It was a only corn beef sandwich for all intents and purposes. My gf had some sort of chicken sandwich, it had guacamole on it. This suffered from the same problem of consisting of mostly meat and few condiments. Both were a good portions but poorly executed. And the potatochips that came with both were horrid, way overdone and poorly seasoned. The waitress was nice but unattentive for the most part, only coming to check on us when it was convenient. And not knowledgeable about the menu or drinks. I tried ordering 3 different beers she didn’t know if they had but, were on the menu. She took a good 5 minutes in between each failed attempt to find the beer I’d ordered, 15 minutes went by, I eventually gave up and had water for the last half of our dinner. When we got the check she had charged us for the beer i kept trying to get. With American burger bar right next door pumping out really great food and no questions on what I can get to drink for 2⁄3 the price, I think Paddingtons is overpriced for what you get. I don’t think I’ll have a need to go back to Paddingtons any time soon.

You really need to consider changing your business plan when on opening day no one is there and you plan on charging $ 13 for a dozen wings and midway you leave midway through your beer. The worst part is when your waitress doesn’t blame you for leaving. Interior looks nice but know your audience it’s not Murphy’s Law

Like another reviewer said, «Paddington’s occupies what is now the defunct Paddy’s Irish Pub…» Paddy’s was purely for drinking because the food lacked, and the wait staff seemed to really not care. Paddington’s is a step up and in the right direction, me thinks. The beers on tap were your typical Rochester«go to» selection of Sam Adams, Guinness, Smithwicks, Labatts, and a few others, but they also had Southern Tier and 3HB. I may have see Rohrbach’s Scotch Ale, but can’t remember as I’m writing this the following morning of my visit. The food is an upgrade with a small manageable menu. My friend and I chose the daily special burger topped with braised short ribs, provolone and swiss cheese, sans the grilled pepper and onions. Normally I would have gotten the grilled peppers and onions, but not tonight. The burger patty appeared to be the same one served by others high end-ish establishments around town. It was good, but more important to me was that I was able to order it medium rare. This seems to be a welcomed trend I’ve found with my last few reviews I’ve written. It was a perfect medium rare. The braised short rib was awesome and added a great flavor to the burger. Also, I should mention the roll was excellent. The french fries are made in house, so kudos for that. The kitchen staff are doing a nice job. The décor of the whole restaurant has been an upgrade with a lot of exposed mismatched barn wood that has a refurbished look. The place is dimly lit with Edison bulbs and the glow from huge flat screen TVs with sporting events. The wood carries into the bathrooms with the addition of white subway tiles. The bathrooms are clean! The servers in the dining area were off their game the night I was there. One girl was very focused on her side work and most likely looking to get done and punch out. The other was stuck in a conversation with another table and didn’t pry herself away for about 15 minutes. I feel bad writing this because our server was very nice and did a good job. And, I think she’d be offended if she reads this, but she lingered at our table too. At one point she sat down at the table with us. You can’t do that. You can’t sit with customers. You’re working and it’s not professional. This review is probably starting to sound critical and harsh, but I waited tables throughout high school and college and feel the need to make it part of the review. This place has a lot of potential, but being originally from Greece and having grown up down the road, I worry that the locals won’t take advantage of it. I can imagine a few of my friends, who still l live in the area, thinking the place is «highbrow» and not want to go. I hope they do go. The drink prices are good value and if the rest of the food coming out of the kitchen is just as good, they’d be missing out if they didn’t. Paddington’s is Paddy’s all grown up.

I really wanted to like Paddington’s but everything was not what it should be. The waitress was MIA for a good 10 min. We ordered wings and quesadilla: the wings were tough and the quesadilla was extremely bland. Both my friend and I could not eat them and just ate the fries. Hopefully the food and service improves but I will not be returning there anytime soon.

As much as I liked it the first time I went, I disliked it the next! Orders came out wrong, burgers over done, wings were actually burnt – not charred on the grill, but burnt. House chips which were hot and fresh the first time were cold and soggy. Bagged potato chips would have been better.

Our server Alicia was amazing. Food was incredible. We were a little turned off by the small menu, but once we got our food we realized why it was so limited. Everything tastes extremely fresh and was amazing. Had the burger and my friend had the wings. Would highly recommend!
