Alawys fun to go here and its not a crowded in such a small space like most bars and they can actually make good food. Prices are so so but its good I would go again.

Decent tasty food, good service for lunch although a bit expensive. I had voodoo chicken(plate not sandwich). I had to look extra hard to see the chicken. I expected a bit more for $ 12. Our server was very accommodating to one at our table who wanted a few slight mods to his meal.

My husband and I stopped by while in the Greece area. Bar Louie has great happy hour specials and we were able to order the boneless wings, chicken quesadilla’s, crispy calamari, spinach artichoke dip, roasted veg flatbread and drinks. Their drinks are good. I loved the Pom peche and will be ordering that along with the calamari on my next visit. We both agreed that the appetizers that we shared were okay. I’m looking forward to trying a few of their entrees next time around. Also equally noteworthy, The décor is very modern and sleek looking.

Second time at Bar Louie and the second time was better than the first. We were invited to a going away party for a good friend of mine. The set up they had for us were pretty good. We had a section of the restaurant reserved for us. The waitress was nice and attentive as well as quick considering there were about 30 of us there. I tried three of their cocktails from their menu. The first one I ordered was the strawberry lemonade sangria. This was not a hit with me or any of the other people who tried it. Mine was mostly strawberry flavored and watery while another’s was mostly lemony, bitter, and watery. I would recommend you skip this drink even though it sounds good on the menu. The other drink were great though! The honeydew was so yummy. Think vacation in a martini glass. It was coconut flavored and perfect. The diva cocktail was also good. For food we ordered 2 apps, the pretzel sticks and cheese quesadilla. Decent enough– nothing special. All in all a good time.

Had a great burger and a glass of moscato Tuesday night. Bar crew was friendly and helpful. Burger was great and the wine was cold. Happy hour wine was $ 4.25 and burgers are $ 5.00 on Tuesdays. Where can you go for under $ 10.00? Definitely be back

Eh, the food here is mediocre. Typical bar food nothing special. But the service is great which is why it has four stars and not three. I came here with a bachelorette party with 30 people. They split the group into two long tables so there was about 15 people per table. Our waiter took care of each of us and even brought out separate checks for each person. I know this was probably a pain to do but it was really nice and convenient for us so we didn’t have to figure out how to split the bill. I thought this was a great added touch and someone going the extra mile.

— Amazing appetizers! Wife and i got the loaded nachos, and mussels. The mussels were so delicious we ordered one to go. The sauce for the mussels was so delicious we dipped all our bread that accompanied our mussels. –We were only there for happy hour and the prices were fair for beers and mixed drinks. — Atmosphere was welcoming. They have an outside patio, but it’s Rochester, inside we stay. — Service was great. Not only did the waitress continue checking on us, with no pressure to leave, but so did the General Manager, Fran i believe her name was. Wife and I left happy. Nothing more i could ask for. Money well spent.

Came here a few weeks ago for one of their five dollar burger nights and happy hour. The food was good and the burgers are a decent size. The staff were all really friendly as well.

I took my mom out for some cocktails for their happy hour specials after work the other day, and I was pleasantly surprised. Even though this place is a chain, it has a really nice atmosphere. We had a flatbread appetizer, and a couple of their martinis. The drink specials are really good if you go from 4 – 7 on weekdays. The drafts are under $ 4, and cocktails were $ 5.75 The outdoor bar is really nice, and they have some outdoor lounge seating as well. I enjoyed my time here, and I think that they have a good concept going.

Very inconsistent food. Everytime I order the same thing it comes out different. It depends on who is cooking whether your food comes out good or not. The bartenders are very good but a couple of them not so nice. We only go for happy hour as their prices are outrageous otherwise on the drinks

Came here with a group of friends and all of our orders were goofed up. Staff was polite and fixed things, but just don’t understand how all of our orders had issues. Bartenders can be rude and will ignore you if there’s young girls at the bar they can flirt with…

There has not been one time that I’ve been here since this place is opened that The entire tables order came out correct. NOTONCE. The bartenders are SNOODY and un-interested in pleasing the customer. During prices are extremely expensive. Also the five dollar burger night on Tuesday… Sounds great until you get there. The place is ridiculously packed. And the burgers are not good. Make sure you look up next time you’re there, check out the amount of dust on the ceiling in rafters… Just waiting to drop in to your food. I suggest you sit outside. Much safer out there. I’d like to say that I will not be back… But if you catch the happy hour drink and app specials, it sort of makes it more enjoyable experience… Still beats going to Hooligans next door.

Not terrible! I had my reservations, not being a big chain restaurant fan, but I wound up enjoying my visit. There were lots of interesting astounding items on the menu, and we all enjoyed our meals. Everything seemed pretty high-calorie, but tasty! Server was friendly and down to earth.

We tried 3 apps, Wings, Pretzels and Chicken Nachos. Wings were good, not crisp enough and the sauce was a traditional buffalo sauce. Chicken Nachos were good, the queso was really tasty. Pretzels had some good points, the cinnamon sugar was really tasty to dip the pretzels in. The honey mustard dip was awful, it tasted like paint, one of the worst things I have ever eaten.

I am not one for chain restaurants… Bar Louie is one of my only exceptions! $ 5 burger nights on Tuesdays are pretty unbeatble, especially if you go during happy hour and get cheap cocktails to go with! Select Appetizers are always half off during happy hour but on this particular visit if you text in a code they gave you a completely free appetizer too. All in all great value for food that for a chain restaurant i would definitely say is above average.

Very nice Ambiance with a very modern look and feel. Since its a Sunday and snowing outside it was not packed and busy. My drinks came out very fast and were made very well. I ordered the Meatballs Al Fornoa which also came out very fast. I dont know if I’ve ever dined out and eaten any place aside from a fast food restaurant and had my meal come out so fast. That being said the food was very tasty and did not seem like it was rushed. I was able to sit and really enjoy my meal in a great environment. Our hostess Cassandra was also very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. All in all it was a great experience. I’ll be coming back here very soon with a larger group for my friends birthday and expect that it will be an awesome time for all of us. I’d definitely recommend this place.

This is now my favorite restaurant in Rochester. Very sharp looking place while still looking like it caters to anyone. I’ve been there 3 time, each a different day and time and the service has always been great! The food selection is really unique(like what Friday’s was 30 years ago). They have a little of everything(burgers, pasta, american, ect) but with a little«flare» for lack of a better word. Aggressive flavors, a cheese you might only see at home or a condiment that you might never have heard of. Food has always been excellent. Prices are normal for a night out. You’d be missing out if you don’t go here at least once a season.

I have been to Bar Louie twice. The first time was on a Thursday for lunch. There were only a few tables occupied in the restaurant. It took 10 minutes for our server to approach the table, and then another 10 for our drinks(iced tea and soda) to be brought to the table. We had to ask for our food to go(packaged in the kitchen — never made it to the table) because it took over 55 minutes from when we ordered and I was late getting back to work. The second time was a Saturday night. There were 9 of us that went around 6:30 pm. The server came to the table 4 times to take drink and appetizer orders — in 3 hours! Dirty dishes and empty glasses sat on the table for at least an hour. Again, it was not very busy. There were many employees there that night. Most of them stood next to the bar near the kitchen talking to each other. Never had a meal here because of the time it took to get drinks and appetizers. It’s too bad, because the appetizers and drinks we had were good. I will never go back because of the service. It seems like no one cares about the customers or their job.

Went there for lunch today, was very disappointed. I ordered the fish and chips, which I figured would be a safe bet at a bar. Nothing too complicated, deep fried. It was a hot, greasy mess. My fish, which was the size of a Gorton’s fish stick was overdone, and soaked with grease. Part of it looked like it exploded too. Some of the fish was outside the breading, and someone else in my party found a piece of my fish in their burger. I opted for tater tots instead of fries, which were unbearably salty. Will not be coming back.

Came here on a Tuesday because it’s half priced burgers from 5 til close. Showed up at 6 told us it was 45 minutes to an hour wait and they would text us. So we walked the mall, came back an hour later and wondered if we could b seated.(mind u the guy waiting in line before us when we showed up asked the same thing and they said oh we will seat u now) the hostess told us the same thing. We passed by many open tables. We sat down inside and first thing I noticed were fruit flys. 15 minutes later they asked us if we were seen yet and someone came right away. It was 15 after the happy hour but the manager allowed us to get a drinks even after the time. She also kept extending the happy hour because she told us the meal might take awhile to be done. They r busy I get it, it’s half priced burgers! Our waitress then brought out nacho chips. Not sure if that’s because of the wait though. She then began to update us but the couple who came in after us got there burgers before us. We got our burgers half hour later, they were fine. Not as big and plentiful as red robin but still good. The person who brought our food, not our waitress, also brought our water when I asked a second time. The waitress came back and kept checking on us also providing free appetizer cards for the long wait. Overall I’d say we would go back but to go by the suggestion of the waitress” if u come on Tuesday come at 4 or 430″
