I hadn’t been here in ages because I moved but was happy to stop back in today with my son. Our food was delicious and the service was wonderful! The 2 young people working were so pleasant, helpful and courteous. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we will definitely be back! The owner must be extremely proud to have such great employees. Sadly that’s getting harder to find. A great product and great service=5 stars!

I’ve visited this café after seeing it on Unilocal and being in the area. The first time around was an average experience, I ordered a bagel and cream cheese. I could tell the bagels were good, but mine tasted burnt, as much of the edge was burnt. I also noticed that it didn’t seem like the dining area was very clean. I chalked that up to maybe having a busy morning, etc. My second go around, my experience was much less pleasant. I again ordered a bagel w/cream cheese, but they were out of the cream cheese I asked for. Ok, no problem, it happens. I then ordered a decaf coffee and cashed out. The gal behind the countered went to pour my coffee and they were out of decaf. I got a refund for that, since I couldn’t wait for more to be brewed. Ok, I’m flexible and not dwelling. I then sat down at a dirty table to eat my bagel quickly and get back to work. I finished and headed to throw out my stuff and the garbage cans were full. Lastly, I headed to the ladies room before I left and there was a sign on the door«out of order». I’m sorry to say, that is it for me. Overall I see there’s much potential, but it seems like there could be more focus on customer satisfaction and overall cleanliness of the dining room.

SoHo Bagel Café is, in my opinion(and that’s the only opinion that matters!), the best bagel shop in the Rochester area. They have the largest selection of authentic NY-style boiled bagels around, and all of their bagel varieties taste amazing. My favorite is the honey-flavored wheat bagel… deliciousness defined. The staff is awesome and so friendly. What makes SoHo really stand out from their local competitors is the experience: the café is the classiest of them all and comfortable, and they also have a drive-thru for quick ordering from your car. I can’t think of another bagel shop in town that offers drive-thru service. SoHo sells bagels, soups, salads, paninis, sandwiches, wraps, various coffee drinks, pitas, and desserts. Definitely give them a visit.

I was there on Sunday 6÷14÷15 around 11:00. I was picking up a lunch for my wife. I have recommended you so often while working at the Hampton inn. Not sure I will from now on. I was Very disappointed that I was refused a substitution of a bag of chips instead of Mac Salad. My wife is not fond of side salads and chips were a great choice. They offered me them as a swap if I agreed to pay $.50 more. Guys it’s $ 13.00 for 50 bags at Sam’s. That’s $.27 per bag. I think a bag of chips is a fair swap for one of your side salads, especially when I was getting a Panini sandwich for $ 6.99. Is 27 cents really worth losing a customer over? I will not be recommending you any longer.

Multigrain bagel was excellent. Great local place — a fantastic reason to skip the bagel chains. They even have a drive-thru.

We live up in Watertown and there is NO place like this. I grew up in Hawaii where there are a lot of hole in the wall restaurants. Dunkins just doesn’t do it for me. When we came down for a mini vacay I was excited to find Soho Bagel on Unilocal.I honestly went to sleep dreaming about the bagel I would have in the morning… let’s just blame it on pregnancy cravings ;) We got into the shop around 10am and it wasn’t as busy as I had pictured it would be. There were two people working and although they were not the friendliest it was clear that it was because they were working hard to service us. I believe they both were also responsible for the drive thru — now that’s talent! We ordered a breakfast bagel with egg, cheese and bacon on a toasted everything bagel. It was crispy bacon and they did not skimp on it at all! My husband had the Philly cheesesteak bagel and it must have been good because I’m pretty sure he inhaled it. Lol The same girl that made out bagels made our drinks. I had the BEST iced latte ever from here and I used to be a barista so I have had a lot of lattes ;) my husband also approved of his chai latte. Their tip jar is near the register and not very visible so be sure you search for it! This place serves delicious food that can’t even compare to all the fast food we are exposed to nowadays, they deserve some extra love for that!

Didn’t stay long– just got a sesame bagel with regular CC to go, but it hit the spot! I’d say the quality of bagel was equally as good as Balsam– and I LOVE Balsam. The coffee, however, was an issue… I asked for regular but it tasted like flavored vanilla because they didn’t rinse the canister out before switching beans. This is absolutely APPALLING for non-flavored coffee drinkers. The guy told me I could wait 5 minutes for them to re-do it but I didn’t have time. In a bagel shop, this is unacceptable. People are not coming in to shoot the shit– they want to order pay and get out in 5 minutes. Come on now.

I’ve been coming here for a while and I’ve never been disappointed. I’m trying the pumpkin bagel today with pumpkin cream cheese… its perfect! Cappuccino is great as well… just how I wanted it– not too sweet. The employees are super friendly, it’s family run and they are simply great. Cute space, couches all over the middle and window side. Not too loud, good WiFi. More people should check this place out.

Very nice people and although the make their own cream cheese in about 12 varieties, they were very vegan accomadating. And the Jalepeno bagel was and they do espresso coffee and have soy milk

It smells wonderful as you walk in. They make bagel sandwiches with fresh ingredients in front of you when you order. There is a lot of space to sit, at a bar facing the windows, wrap around seating around tables, stand alone tables, and a comfy area of couches and chairs. The staff is very friendly and passionate about their work. They brew Finger Lake Roasters and some Green Mountain coffee. All their coffee is fair trade and some organic. Free WiFi too. I will certainly frequent for their coffee and space to study.

If you are looking for a local bagel and coffee place look no further. Bagel sandwich was fresh, coffee was tasty and the price was right. Friendly local spot does it right

Best bagels and breakfast sandwiches on this side of town. If I don’t feel like trekking toward the city for my bagels, this is my stop. Some varieties seem to sell out fairly early in the day(jalapeño), but there are sufficient options. Coffee is fairly good, but not great(personal preference… I’m kind of picky about coffee). Staff is friendly and prompt, even though they can get quite busy in the morning. Lunch is also an option, I have tried a few of their soups and they are good! There is a drive through window which can be very convenient as well.

Spacious with couches, tables, and counters, Soho’s fine for working on a laptop and great for chatting with company. The staff was quick to help me and very engaging, telling quick stories and teasing each other with whit as they prepared my sandwich and latte. On a Tuesday morning, there is a steady stream of customers, but it’s staying quiet enough to work. Everything looks new and clean, which is a bit unhomely, but quality-assuring. To eat, I stayed with a classic breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. It was simple, quality, and actually bite-able, albeit a little unfilling for the price. My drink was a mocha latte, which the barista prepared with apparent years of experience and made just as tastey to the eyes as the tongue. Overall, the staff is what makes Soho such a welcoming experience, but the food and setting don’t hurt at all.

Five stars for the specialty bagels! Three for everything else. I cannot recommend the Super Cinnamon bagel highly enough. It comes coated in a delectable cinnamon/sugar mix, like an inside out piece of cinnamon toast. I get it toasted with butter and am in absolute heaven. The cheddar bagel is also omg-amazing. I’ve never had another bagel so packed with cheesy goodness. Again, toasted with butter — don’t mess with perfection by trying to add cream cheese.

I used to live at this place! My friends and I would meet here almost every day after work or on weekends for breakfast. it’s a cozy place with great breakfast and lunch. The owner is super friendly and funny. Their breakfast sammies are made with real eggs! They crack them right in front of you! Not a fake egg like Bruggers! It’s a great place to go when you are looking for a fresh bagel sammie!

I’m giving Soho Bagel Café a five star review because they deserve it. For a while I was a regular patron of the café. I worked for a business across the street and would order from them frequently. I participated in their rewards program and earned several free lunches. The ingredients there are always fresh & top quality. Beefsteak tomatoes, leaf lettuce. Fat-free dressings for their many various sandwiches, made with premise baked rolls and bagels. Soho Bagel Café is a unique destination and a welcome change from the Paneras & Brueggers of the world. While I no longer work on the west side fo town, I know that there’s a place I can count on for a quick & healthy meal. All I can say now is that Colies Café better watch out! I hear that they’re expanding and looking to open a location on the east side… Bonus: free WiFi
