Not very happy tonight! My hubby and I used to love Dp Dough until tonight. seems like they’ve rolled the dough paper thin and was a little tough to bite through. It used to be softer and thicker dough.

Really good food, i’ve only had their calzones and their cookies and they’re really good! Pricing is more than fair, try it out! The joint itself is very collegy… but then again its right by UNC.

The ambiance is of five star quality. The service is second to none. The place is filled around midnight on weekends with drunks as far as the eye can see. And the music… Most of the time metal, which is the cherry on top of an already great experience. Dough, cheese, sauce and other stuff. That’s all you need to know my friend.

DP Dough is delicious, that much is true. If you’re ever in the mood for a meal at 2 am, these are the guys to call. At barely over $ 6, and filling, I’ve always been satisfied for a late night meal. That is, if you’re prepared to deal with rudely curt customer service, watered down sauce, and a less-than-par calzone. Just about any other calzone/pizza place would suffice. In all the deliveries I ordered in my freshman year of college(which is, of course, the prime time for ordering food), I had two(out of around 30) nice drivers. The in-store cashiers have always been rude on the phone and when I picked up food. Later than 12? Pick DP Dough. Any other time? Any other place.

Literally just a pocket of dough filled to the brim with grease, and not the peppy musical about people with greasy hair.

Well I did give dp dough a good review but I guess you could call this review 2 … Last night I ordered and made what a joke. I saw online that you can get a side of gravy; so I thought that it would taste amazing as a dipping sauce… It’s not even April fools day and the joke was on me. The drive give me my order and a whole can of gravy. I’m not even kidding they gave me a can. Ha it has the name of food provider«Sysco » … A+ DP dough. The food was good but now I still have this 26 serving size can of gravy as a paperweight.

Ordered for the first time last night. Not going to order again. 2 calzones were in wrongly named box. Didn’t realize until each person was well into their meal. Dough is extremely chewy and no flavor. Read other post about how good their cookies are. Ordered oatmeal raisin and they delivered chocolate chip. Not one person liked the cookies. Maybe recipe has been changed or something. But they were the worst cookies I think I have had. Not worth the call about order mix up, to many comments about people not being credited properly. Just will not order again or recommend.

Great for a late night meal during an all nighter. Favorites are the Bear Zone, Buffer Zone, and Chick N Bacon Zone Definitely recommend this place. The zones are awesome. TRYTHECOOKIES

We always get the Party Zone and cheesy tots. Delivery can be up to an hour, but they will tell you that and it’s due being crazy busy. Food is hot and cooked as ordered. Prices are great, too. We order at least once per week and our food is consistently hot, fresh and delicious!

This place is a hidden gem. Every calzone I’ve tried has exceeded expectations. I am really curious about the breakfast calzones and will update as soon as I try one. I highly recommend this place for price and quality of product.

Mixed reviews for dp dough. I sometimes am unsatisfied. Best thing I’ve had from there is the End Zone. The breakfast zones are horrible. Sweet that it is open late and the staff are friendly college kids. Food is mediocre.

I only like D.P. dough when I’m drunk, it is pilled with cheese(problematic for me). Everyone I know who loves cheese loves D.P. Dough. I’ve never had a problem with their service and I’ll continue walking my drunk a** to D.P. Dough.

Great cheap calzones that are available at late hours, rare in a city where most restaurants close at 10pm. Walking in, the place does not look like your average fast-food shop. Tons of college material and a very relax atmosphere. The food is only to-go, unless you want to eat outside. The food overall is pretty good and a very large selection of different calzones. The only complaint I might have with the food; is that the pasta sauce is a little too water down for me.

This place is so wonderful! Normally, I wouldn’t care for calzones, especially from a place I’ve never heard of – despite good reviews(I’m stubborn, ok?) – but after a concert, it was the only place that would deliver at 1am which is incredible for a town that seems to shut down at 7pm. The richness and deliciousness packed into one calzone is to die for, not to mention the dipping sauce. I do wish they werent $ 7 – 8(we are broke college students here cmon!) but you get enough food for two servings.

This place does calzones and does them well. The dough is nice and thin and properly chewy. Great for lunches. Everthing is under $ 10 each and one calzone is enough for 2 if your not a chow hound like me.

We ordered their zones(which I find it funny that«Zone» is a registered trademark) and had them delivered. They have the best calzones in town. And it was decently priced. They have lots of variety and got here in reasonable time.
