I’ll start with saying staff is pleasant. No particular complaint about apps. Creamy chicken soup was anything but creamy. Replaced with loaded potato soup. Not any better/flavor was okay as far as cheese, salt, and potato flavors go… So the apps were bacon wrapped water chestnuts. They were okay due to being bacon wrapped and BBQ sauced pretty wet. They are served over deep fried jalapeño and onion strips(Texas toothpicks). They were the end of the best part of the meal. Rib eye ordered medium, received well. Taken back for new cook at medium. Came out very rare. No complaint on temp of much smaller steal I had although salting it heavily was required for any flavor at all. Maybe frozen? Taking an hour to cook two steaks to medium? Ridiculous in an almost empty and well staffed;1employee+ per seated customer easily. I’d say wake up. Faithful patrons take notice slower than out of Towner’s. But they will notice eventually. Sorry Kenny, your place is pretty nice aside our bad experience and the way too loud level for country music in a linen napkin type restaurant. I like to think this was a bad day. And since the ribeye was never made right we were credited for it and offered a $ 20 gift cert for this restaurant in a town we probably will never be through again. But thanks.

5 star restaurant for Greeley, CO. I have celebrated many special occasions here over the past few years. Not only that but my friends and I love to go there for the Friday Happy Hour — $ 2 off appetizers and good drink deals. $ 4 martinis all night on Friday are my absolute favorite in town! I highly recommend this restaurant over all the others in town.

This is a find ! Kenny’s is the original steak house in Greeley Co — because Kenny was Kenny Monfort who was the Very wealthy rancher — Monfort Meats — his sons now own the Colorado Rockies — so a pretty cool place to find — but the best part is the food — great steaks and the prices are more than reasonable — if you find yourself in Greeley you will not be disappointed with this place !!!

Well let’s start with the hostess/waitress /bartender. Although very nice. A restaurant needs more than one employee. There was a completely worthless manager looking guy who didn’t acknowledge anyone as he came past the bar for a bud light. The pictures posted were taken at the height of «happy hour». I’m not trying to knock the place, just pointing out some faults. The food and drinks aren’t bad. Not a place to come unless you like it REALLYQUIET!!!

Visiting from Colorado Springs and just stopped by for a late Father’s day lunch. This place is very good! We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer and it was HUGE. Came with celery and carrots and a ton of fried bowtie pasta. The dip itself was rich and creamy. Yum! We both had prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. One was ordered Medium and the other Medium Rare — seriously perfect. Oh and the veggie du jour was grilled lemon pepper asparagus and it was great and quite different than the regular broccoli carrot cauliflower mix. Also the salads — CRISP! Not from a bag lettuce and I just wanted to say THANKYOU for that! Really good food. A bit expensive BUT the portions are really big so you will have leftovers!

Since we were in town for the funeral of a close loved one, my focus wasn’t on food for most of the visit but the Unilocal spirit compels me to at least post some comments. When in Colorado, I figured, how can you go wrong with a steakhouse? But what I learned is, never ask a question to the tune of «how bad could it be?» And that applies to everything! The service was not terrible nor slow like other reviews report. Even though we were a party of over a dozen people, they had a table ready for us when we arrived. We had one server the entire time and she never let our glasses go empty and took great care to get each order correct and to the person who ordered it. The stars above are for the staff and the relative speed with which they prepared our orders. I can only really speak for my own dish though everyone seemed at least okay with the food. They didn’t criticize it nor did they offer any praise. In my head, that means they probably had the same experience I did. They serve some parmesan bread with butter as an appetizer and it was definitely mediocre. I tried the chicken and rice soup and urged my Mom with her iffy stomach that night to do the same. All who tasted it, noted it was extremely salty. I was hungry and wolfed down most of it. My 5 oz filet mignon looked all two inches of it and its proportions caused more than one chortle from the other guests. It was a perfect medium rare but again, very salty. My aunt’s boyfriend said the same thing of the marinated steak tips. I took the baked potato home for leftovers and the next day it was too bitter to be eaten. I tossed it. If you’re not counting calories or sodium you could have fun here. They offer a number of rich but tasty sounding sauces for your steak as a topper and there’s fried shrimp if you want to see what Greeley can do with seafood. However, I hope next time we visit my aunt we make the drive to Denver for dinner.

Super tasty food! My husband and mines steak were great and cooked to our liking. Our server was very friendly but a bit slow. It was also graduation weekend so what did we expect?! Can’t wait to go back for another steak with gorgonzola cream sauce… mmmm!

Kenny’s is a very relaxed and quiet restaurant. This is not a restaurant that I would recommend to take kids in my opinion. We specifically like to go there when we have a babysitter. The food is excellent. Salads are very fresh. The bread is a must have… always hot and fresh. I have had shrimp a few times with sweet potato fries. Yummy! The burgers are excellent too. Husband always gets the steak and loaded baked potato. There are coupons frequently on Val Pak as well.

I’m visiting Greeley Colorado. My mother says she is starving, and see’s Kenny’s off of 10th street. So we dive into the parking lot for dinner. My mother has been known to be hard to please. But she was very happy with the Ground Steak and mushroom and onion gravy with a side of mashed potato’s with milk gravy. My self, I went for the nightly special of a cut of 14 oz. boneless prime rib. That was cooked to perfection. The out side edges had been trimmed back to give you the most meat for your money. I would say this is the best restaurant prime rib I have had in many years. My sides were a Ceaser salad and the milk gravy covered mash potatoes. We were greeted with a smile and the waitress was very pleasant and patient My next time to Greeley I will defiantly come back to Kenny’s.

Service was prompt and attentive. The food: I ordered the ribeye, with a caesar salad and a baked potato. The caesar salad was dressed about right to my tastes. They bake fresh herbed bread rolls, the bread was the next to come out, it was hot and fresh. There was about a 10 minute wait for the main course, but it was done well. The steak was indeed medium as I asked and the baked potato was done all the way through. I ended the meal with a digestif, I had a Jack on the rocks. It wasn’t very stiff but eh, for a digestif, that’s ok. The whole meal set me back about $ 36, including tip. This is a place you go to on special occasions for dinner and it was a special occasion for me. Perhaps their lunch menu is less expensive?

It seems a little pricey, but that is understandable for being a steak house. We tried some of their aged steaks, a little disapointing but overall the food there is okay. The service there is okay as well, didn’t quite come around to the table that often to check up on us. The complementary bread doesn’t come until the main entrie, which is a disappointment when waiting for such a long time.

Kenny’s has nice décor of dark woods and earth tones with many historic pictures of family heritage. It was very inviting to enter. Upon entry was met by 2 immature host that lacked professionalism but they got the job done. Once at our table the server was attentive and polite. The food, we had the catch of the day, Wahoo fish tacos were tasty but on the edge of being over cooked and dry. The side we chose of lemon pepper asparagus was excellent, cook perfect. In general the experience was good but the value was less than average. Pricing for the meal was the biggest negative based on what was served. The price was 14.95 but the same meal at Bone Fish Grill is offered for 9.95. For such a nicely décor-ed restaurant with meal prices in the the 14.95 — 25.95 range you would expect a much more polished staff of mature individuals. Also, management never stopped by our table or seemed to be present. The experience was just very average for a moderately high priced meal.

Looking for a quiet place to dine? Kenny’s has good, basic food with a nice atmosphere and good service. It’s a great place to go when you want to talk with your companion. The salads are excellent. The chicken fried chicken was tasty. Only disadvantage? They close at 9:00 p.m.
