Puttin On the Wax

I love this place. The girls are always very nice and very fast. I think the prices are very fair!

I was very disappointed here. Thought it would be okay because it is focused on waxing. Very dirty poor quality wax. My eyebrows turned out to be very uneven, rushed. Nice people poor quality.

STAY AWAY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! First red flag: Why bother to go to an establishment who can’t even post a photo of their interior on Unilocal?However, the staff are very nice. I went in for an eyebrow wax and there was no wait. No appointments, only walk ins. The room I was taken into had a table to lay on which was covered with a plastic sheet. It had tears and holes in it. They obviously DON’T CLEAN or change the plastic between clients, who knows how often they change them after waxes «down there». I have never had such a bad brow wax. She was afraid to trim my brows, both the longer hair growing from the inner brow and the tips. She wiped me down and asked me to look in the mirror. I went home and trimmed the rest of my brows to my liking. I wanted to go back the following week for a Brazilian but instead I went elsewhere because the overused sheet on the table was enough to gross me out. Puttin’s rooms are not private. The walls are 7′ tall and the ceiling is many feet higher than that so the area above is open. I would be embarrassed to get a bikini wax because sometimes it’s uncomfortable and the whole place would hear. Lastly, I have had my waxed my brows for years with all types of waxes. I have never broken out until I went to Puttin. I would NOT recommend this for a friend I am not going back. 2 stars only because of the short wait time and nice staff. Absolutely disappointed.

The wax experience isn’t bad, but the girl at the front desk is horrible. Really bad customer service. I feel like I’m walking into a sorority house every time I go here. If you want to be ignored, then given attitude for asking a question — ask for Brooke. Or better yet, find another waxing place.

I have been getting my brows done here for years and I have always had a positive experience. The girls are always so nice and great at what they do!

Clean, friendly and fast. No appoints only walk ins. Priced fairly not more expensive than other places.
I get upper legs, lip, eyebrows, and Brazilian here and it’s always good.
