I don’t know what happened, but they seem to have altered their vision from quality and experience to get you in and out quickly. New staff are inept, and it has ended up(almost) costing us more than double the few times it happened. I don’t know if it’s poor training or short staffing, but the service has tanked. The items for the dishes have gone downhill as well. New items have been introduced, and that is nice, but the old staples such as the cabbage and broccoli are getting worse. The last 3 visits in the last 4 months have given us not only spotty black moldy broccoli and cabbage, but food poisoning thereafter. The atmosphere has gone from relaxed and comfortable to grab your food, eat your food, go away. Getting a server to comp for moldy vegetables is akin to shoving over a mountain, and the manager(s) you deal with will make excuses after excuses, say they’ll fix it, then when you come back it is worse. Will not be returning for a few weeks. Maybe when I have a fresh pack of toilet paper and a free weekend, just in case.

I like that you can make any combination of plates you want and as many as you want. Good pick for families.

I love the food here. Every time I go I never know what I want because there’s so many things to choose. You definitely need to go a few times to figure out the right combination of sauces, meats and veggies. If you’re completely cluesless and you don’t know where to start, they do have some pre-made receipes that you can use when you go in line. Ths is a great place for lunch.

This is a fairly traditional mongolian-style barbecue restaurant. There is a reasonable selection of meat and noodles, and a greater selection of vegetables. The condiments or sauce bar rely solely on thin constructions which are hard to gauge how to use. There is also no additional chopped garlic, or powdered spices to add, which can really develop the flavor. Since the meat is sliced thinly, the cooking is swift, so make sure you have enough flavor in your vegetables and sauces, as you won’t pick it up from the grill. Service here was great when in for an early lunch. Our waitress brought the rice quickly and kept us set with beverages — huge selection of flavors from their new-fangled machine.

I’ll start by saying I’m not from Green Bay and it’s my second time here on business. Looking for something different to eat and decided to try this place. Never expected a restaurant like this in Green Bay but I’ll say I was pleasantly surprised. It’s all you can eat and they all offer salad, soup and rice(also used as fillers) Overall the food was good, better than expected with relatively fast prep time and entertainment with the cooks. The service is sometimes slow even with not many people.

Excellent food. Follow their Pad Thai sauce recipe and you can’t go wrong. The best I’ve ever had. Sometimes there is a long wait on the grill, but they move people through pretty quick. Next time I go I will fill one bowl with meat and noddles, and another bowl with veggies and sauce. That way I don’t have to go through the line as often! :)

This place is a definite must go for lunch. I truly enjoy a good Mongolian bbq and this place is no exception. All you can eat is a wonderful treat and affordable. I’m so glad I was able to try this restaurant in the great city of Green Bay. I made myself a beef bowl with bamboo strips, mushrooms, pineapple, baby corn, broccoli, and Chinese noodles. I didn’t follow the sauce recipes, however, went and made my own combination which contained soy sauce, ginger juice, sesame oil, and a little hot sauce. For those who haven’t had Mongolian bbq, you essentially make your own dish and give the food to the cook to stir fry on a huge flat top stove with a hole in the middle. The cook will then throw your food with some water. In any case, I thought it was very good food. Our table also ordered the crab rangoons which were delicious. For those who don’t know what crab rangoons are, it’s a wonton filled with imitation crab and cream cheese which is then deep fried. Service was good. I believe they have the coca cola machine in the back so I ordered a diet cherry coke. Overall, a great lunch!

I’ve been here twice with my husband. The first time we really didn’t have that great of an experience. We decided to try it again, the second time was somewhat better. We went at lunch time on a Saturday, so it is expected to be busy, however, we did not expect to wait while there were several empty tables in the restaurant. There was only 2 couples ahead of us and 5 empty tables. When we were seated, the waitress explained the process and brought me out a yellow plate that are used for people with food allergies. We were given a pamphlet that explained Everything they have and the potential allergens. When you make your way through the buffet the first section is noodles, there is a choice between lo mein, rice noodles, and other varieties of Asian noodles. After the noodles the next section is a wide variety of meat and seafood, tofu. Then a wide variety of veggies and sauces. You can expect to wait in a long line holding your plate waiting for it to be cooked on the grill by the chefs. They put on a show. I was impressed that they thoroughly cleaned the section of the grill and sectioned off the area where they cooked my plate to avoid cross contamination due to the allergies. After waiting a few minutes for the food to cook, you are handed back your plate of steaming stir-fry. Depending on how full you fill your plate one trip up is enough. Overall it was an o. k experience, but it will be a once in a while stop, not a regular.

We arrived to find several empty tables, a 10 minute wait. I asked if we could have one of the empty tables. We were told«no» they didn’t have servers for those tables. I wonder why they wouldn’t have enough servers when it was lunch hour. We waited 10 minutes before we could enjoy the many grill items they offer. Still good quality but the service could be improved on.

Food is always great and they have a huge selection of pop/drink choices. It’s sort-of a buffet style, but everything is cooked for you on a round grill by their grill masters after you personally select exactly what you want. You load your bowl with as much meat, veggies, noodles, and sauce as you want… You can’t go wrong. And when you can keep going back for more, you won’t leave hungry! Definitely something for everyone. Great place to dine with vegetarians and meat-lovers alike.

Hu Hot is delicious, let me say that first. I love the AYCE option, and even though the sign says ‘Take 1 bowl’ the savvy customer takes two to hold everything and they don’t care. That being said, there were two serious drawbacks in my visit there. One: service, or lack of service. We waited 10 minutes and no server came around, so we went up to get our plates and get started. There were 20 people in line to get their food cooked, and the cooks lacked professionalism in appearance and demeanor, unlike previous times I’ve been there. They were college guys acting like they were hanging out in their dorm room. We finally saw a server when we got back to our table with our plates, when she asked us if we wanted an appetizer. Seriously? The second drawback is the price. There should be a ½ price one-bowl option or something, because my 14-year-old daughter does not eat a lot. I paid $ 30 for two bowls of mostly veggies and noodles and one root beer. It’s a good thing I stayed away from the appetizers and desserts – seriously overpriced for the style of restaurant! This is NOT a family friendly place if you’re cost conscious. You will pay through the nose here(and I have, since I have five kids). I’ll come here once a year, or so, as a treat, but that’s it. It’s better for lunch, as there’s less people and the price is a little lower.

We went expecting a lot of options for toppings but they dont have bacon, cheese, or anything really good! Our server was fantastic the food was just blah boring bland. My chicken I got was really gross and dark meat? Idk I was disappointed. I was expecting it to be like BDs Mongolian bbq. it wasn’t:(

I eat at Huhot with my friends alot and the biggest problem I’ve seen is the customers! For heaven’s sake it is all you can eat and you can go to the food bar as many times as you like and yet I see so many people with one and sometimes TWO bowls toppling over with food! Nasty and gross to watch such gluttony. Other than that, the food is good — try the table top s’mores dessert!

We were disappointed in the meat selection and quality of the meat. Additionally the cost was excessive for what you get.

This place is not good. Not good in speed, efficiency and the cooks just want to chat with each over instead of customers.

It was my first time here with my family. It was a great experience. While I was a little Leary on food contamination it didn’t seem to be a problem with anyone else there. The waitress was very nice and even showed us what to do. If you are ordering the grill bar, there is no need in buying extras like egg rolls and crab Rangoon.

This is a place where you pick all the items you want to add to your dish. They have a lot of meat choices and a lot of other things to add in. Once you pick your food you need to add in all your sauces. Then you add your oil. I am gluten free and typically a place like this would be very good for me. One issues, most of the sauces had gluten in them. I did find a few, so i was able to eat. I told the giller that i had a few allergies, so they did a great job in making sure the area was clean. Overall it was ok. They need to add in spices to the mix. I have been to several of this type of restaurants and all had spices, this one did not. The food would have been a lot better. With the gluten allergy I could not add to many sauces. Also very bad choices in wine. Just not a stocked bar.

Went here for dinner, and was highly impressed. Walked in and we were immediately acknowledged by two passing waitstaff, letting us know someone would be there momentarily — and the hostess was there right after. Our waitress explained everything to us very well, and the food was delicious! The grill guys were friendly and entertaining, and even as we left, a passing waitress wished us a good night. For a family of four, including appetizer, sodas, dinner and dessert was about $ 55. Not bad at all! Great experience all around, we’ll definitely be returning!
