Excellent Phở and great coconut smoothies, friendly and affordable. Discovered on our first trip to Green Bat and had to go back on our second. Wings serviceable but not as good as the Phở. Convenient to the airport and Lambeau Field.

3 is the best I can do. It’s not bad, but far from great. I had the combo Phở. A lot of noodles and beef. The portions were generous, just lacking in flavor. I like the rocket shrimp. Nice crunch but the sauce needed more flavor. I travel all over the world and eat Phở everywhere I go. I’m sure it’s great for GB but lacking to a lot of others I’ve tried.

Went here a few days ago. Price was ok, had phở — the broth was flavorful but I was a little disappointed in the amount of protein that came with it. Probably won’t go back again.

I’m going to be very honest. I did not expect to find a Vietnamese restaurant of this quality in Northern Wisconsin. This place is outstanding and they’ve got a good menu. The food is very good, the service was also good and it was enjoyable.

Services was ok. Papaya was good, phở broth was ok. Was disappointed with the house special chow fun. Wings were not good at all. Large phở looks like a small.

On a relative’s recommendation, stopped in for lunch here on an overnight to Green Bay. Well worth the stop. Although there are many Vietnamese and other Asian restaurants in our hometown of Madison, this was a nice refreshing change from those restaurants. The food here is very good, modestly priced and in a clean and inviting atmosphere. The staff is very nice and welcoming. That’s not to say that Madison restaurants are different. Rather, the food here is as good if not better than Vietnamese in Madison at a more modest price and in a very welcoming and warm atmosphere. It is not fancy by any means. It is not spartan either. It was just a nice informal place where the food is good, there is no pretense, the prices are modest and the people are glad to see you and seem to appreciate your choice to dine with them. I am not sure if I can say that about any other Vietnamese restaurant in Madison, or many other restaurants in Madison for that matter. Meal specifics: two Vietnamese iced coffees, a grilled chicken and egg roll vermicelli bowl for my wife, a grilled tenderloin, shrimp and egg roll vermicelli bowl for me, and a large bowl of beef meatball phở to share. The Vietnamese iced coffee comes in a large tumbler with black coffee, over ice and a large dollop of sweetened condensed milk which settles down at the bottom. You stir it around with the long spoon, sip and enter liquid heaven. Although it was cold today, I can only imagine it being doubly delicious on a hot summer day. Vermicelli bowls were very good too and stuffed with noodles, fresh lettuce, cucumbers, other veggies, peanuts, and the protein toppings we had both requested. They were both accompanied with a bowl of tasty dipping sauce which I think is fish-based but is sweet, vinegary and herbally and added a certain lightness and tang to our dishes. The eggrolls were very good and came neatly cut into thirds in our bowls. It was clear that these were not an afterthought or a throw away garnish for them. It was obvious that care in cooking and plating was taken. Our beef meatball phở was a large bowl full of noodles, meatballs, broth and as any good Vietnamese restaurant would, was accompanied by a nice plate of fresh basil, bean sprouts, and lime.(Because we were sharing it, the waiter was very thoughtful and offered to bring an extra bowl and divide it between us). The broth was excellent, too. Clear and not overly salty at all. Tasty and sublime. There are only two phở sizes on the menu– large and extra-large. We got the large and it was plenty. We had a peek at somebody with an extra large and it was humongous. All of our dishes were tasty, fresh and presented attractively. Each table has a tray of different condiments(soy sauce, sciracha sauce, hoisin sauce, chili sauce, and a chili oil), a bank of resin chopsticks, and soup spoons, so you never have to ask for any of that. A nice, thoughtful, efficient and informal touch. Total bill exclusive of tax and tip was under $ 28. Definitely worth a visit if you like Vietnamese food or want an introduction to good and reasonably priced Vietnamese food in a welcoming atmosphere. They are located in a small nondescript set of buildings along the street and you can easily miss it. So keep your eyes open, stop in, sit down and enjoy a short trip to the kitchens of Vietnam. No passport necessary.

I wasn’t expecting to go for Phở in Green Bay, and this was great. I went for lunch with a colleague who had a taste for it. Following her lead, I ordered a phở, the house special one, and banh mi. When brought to the table, the phở was steaming, and it’s toppings were fresh and clean. The taste was good, but I had douse it with some chili paste for my own liking. The basil brought out flavor in the broth, which was full of beef, tendons, stomach, etc. I knew that’s what I was getting, and I go for that stuff sometimes, but it’s an acquired taste, so I don’t recommend it to everyone. The banh mi i do recommend for everyone. The bread was crunchy and crusty, and its fillings were perfectly flavored. I loved the combination of the pork with the crunchy vegetables in the sandwich. A phở and banh mi make a hearty meal, and we were both ready for naps following this meal, but it was worth it.

The Banh Mi were tasty — my notoriously picky 13 yr old son commented, «Mom, I don’t ever want to stop eating this.» My Phở was very good — all ingredients fresh. Had all meat except the tripe included and thought it tasted rich(Our trip seemed different then commenter Kao V’s — maybe he visited on a bad night? We had very attentive service.)

The phở was delicious, but pretty chintzy on the meat. Service was also poor, as the waiter did not come back to fill up my water once(and I made the mistake of putting extra hot sauce in the phở). I would go back & try again.

Best phở indeed, or at least most authentic Vietnamese in green bay. The flavor is great, but the portions(meat, noodles, herbs) suck! They need to make an XL an XL. Ask for a side of oil and sour onions for the phở, its needed and yummy.

This was absolutely terrible. We first ordered the spring rolls. Tasteless, and the dipping sauce was gross. Totally lacked any sort of flavor with the use of iceburg lettuce, and not a hint of basil or mint like in a traditional springroll. Then came the phở. It smelled off, it looked off, and tasted awful. I was afraid to eat the grey meat. One of the halved jalapenos was definitely rotten(black) on the inside, and the basil was quite slimy. The bean sprouts were quite questionable as well. Not what we were expecting at all. Quite disappointing.

The phở broth seemed watered down and the meat in the vermicelli noodle is dry. My sister-in-law’s meat in her salad was still cold in the middle. She had them take it back. The Vietnamese sandwiches lacked jalapeño peppers and the bread used is not baguette. Not once did they come to check on us or came to refilled our drinks. It doesn’t taste like the first them I went. I learned there were new owners. It is still the only phở restaurant in the area and for that, I will still visit if I’m in town. I will try other items on their menu.

This experience was not as positive as the first, service was lacking & several things were messed up on our order, including the food we ordered for our children. After food was delivered there was not a check back to see if all was well .The green papaya salad was really nasty & they were very stingy with the amount of meat on our entrees. The last time we were passing through we just ordered banh mi sandwiches to go & they were good. In the future that’s what we will do rather than dining in. This is the only Vietnamese place in the area so I’m yet willing to write them off. :)

This place is just okay I ordered the #1 beef phở. Not enough beef and too much fat. The broth was good with the hot chiles. It could also use more veggies The spring rolls were very good The Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk was very good and strong from their cold drip process I did not have their wok Chinese foods so I can not comment on them

Such a hidden gem. It is located in a strip mall but offers some of the best phở around. I highly recommend it for the price and quality of the phở options.

Quality of ingredients is sub par compared to phở I’ve had in Minneapolis and Chicago. It’s cool you can get phở in Green Bay though.

Our first time here, found it on Unilocal as we were traveling through Green Bay on our way to Milwaukee. We started with the spring rolls. They were not made fresh it seemed, the contents seemed a little dry, but they were still OK, just not the best I’ve had. Seemed slim on the herbs. We each got«regular size» Phở(mine shrimp, SO’s rare beef). The broth was very good, bowl size perfect for lunch. Disappointed they were out of bean sprouts, seems like that should not happen at a Phở restaurant. They did serve with Thai basil, limes, and jalapeño. They seemed to skimp a bit on the meat compared to other Phở places we’ve been to, but we still walked out satisfied and full. Service was pleasant and fast. Décor open, light, and spacious with a nice CLEAN fish tank. Entire restaurant appeared clean and cared for. We will certainly stop again when our travels bring us this way.

Had the Phở here again yesterday. I marvel at what a great place this is. They’re busier and busier from what I see, others are catching on. I go to ALL the Phở places in Milwaukee, and Phở 1 Noodle and Grill is THEBEST. Service and ambiance is great too.

First things first: yum! What a great little spot for a cheap bowl of phở! A X-Large is only 6.95. It comes with lime, sprouts, basil, and jalapenos. I’ve had a lot of phở and this is pretty decent when it comes to taste. The broth(#1 most important thing) is a little lacking in flavor, and is a tad salty. Otherwise, the beef is sliced nice and thin and all other components were fresh and tasty. We had the vietnamese coffee(very good) and the passionfruit smoothie with boba which was a lacking in flavor. Overall an excellent place to get lunch, we will for sure be back!
