Primo thin crust pizza. Comfortable, casual dining atmosphere with outstanding service.
They have an extensive menu ranging from traditional Italian dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs to homemade sandwiches and salads.
Large portions are an added benefit.
But the thin crust pizza is what it’s all about here. Cut into small squares I found myself downing more of the pie than I should have, but no regrets.

First visit here while visiting Green Bsy. Ordered garlic cheese bread as an appetizer– showed up within 5 minutes! Hot and great. Asked waitress which pizza was her favorite. Her reply was taco so we ordered that… it came with 2 small packets of sour cream. We needed 2 more and it was an additional charge! Pleasant atmosphere, great for families or date night! Sammie’s did not disappoint! We will be back.

So I took the Unilocal reviews and ordered pizza from Sammys while I was in Green Bay I ordered a 16 inch pepperoni and sausage pizza. the pizza it was crispy the sausage did not taste homemade kind of something out of the tube pepperoni was OK over all the pizza had adequate cheese a little bit of sauce but was very salty it was hot prompt and ready when we showed up but I will not go out of my way next time I am in Green Bay to get this pizza I’ll try something different not for me

Service was good and pizza was delicious. The crazy Italian pizza with fresh roasted garlic was wonderful. The garlic cheese bread was also excellent!

Just ate at Sammy’s pizza it was awesome! We had the three cheeses Bianca pizza, the meet lovers and a half sausage half Canadian pizza. We called after 8:00 knowing they were closing at 9:00 and they stayed open for our group of hungry 10. The food did not disappoint we found them on Unilocal.The service was great too. Thanks for staying open late! We’ll definitely be back.

To start with service was excellent. Seating was quick and efficient. The place was very busy on this Saturday night, but service was very competent. For an appetizer we had the pesto cheese bread. It was very good. We had the grande pizza which was very good as well. We would come back.

Been going here with my family my whole life. Excellent pizza with its own distinct flavor. Italian at its best for GB. Excellent service. A great sit down family restaurant! No complaints after 20+ years of coming 5+ times a year

Great pizza and great service. We got the margherita pizza and loved it. Split a 14″ pie, and it was a very filling meal. Crispy crust, with a rich full flavor. Loved the roasted tomatoes too.

Visiting my Draughter in De Pere WI and we when for pizza at Sammy and after driving 20mins there and back this pizza was the bomb. Sausage and pepperoni, thin crust but you could taste the sauce of the pizza the spices the cheese favors. That’s pizza folks

I have been told a number of times this place is good and it is. It’s a nice sized restaurant, it wasn’t very crowded when I went. I bet with it’s location near Lambeau it gets busy during a Packer game weekend. The menu had a good number of different pizzas along with several sandwiches and appetizers. I had the Taco pizza and it was delicious. I would have liked more sour cream but I forgot to ask. The service was fine. Not bad, but not outstanding. I definitely need to go here again.

Homemade soup and excellent pizza! Will definitely be back next time I’m up in Green Bay!

The pizza here is excellent. We order take out more than we dine in but it is always fantastic. I am a fan of thin crust pizza and they do it right with loads of toppings on a paper thin crust. Highly recommend you stop in.

The dining area is nice and the pizza has a decent flavor, albeit too salty. The host was not very good at his job and, likewise, the waitress was not refined and was not very good at her job. For the quality of food and service provided, the prices ought to have been lower.
There are better pizzas in Green Bay. Try Aldo’s Pizza– it’s the best in town.

I never thought I would say this but guess what people, New York does NOT have the best pizza known to mankind, no that fought over title goes to Sammy’s in Green Bay, Wisconsin, holy pepperoni is their pizza amazing. This is the proof of true pizza mastery, you want to eat the crusts, you look forward to eating the crusts. Get a pie with sausage on it because I don’t know what the pigs are eating in this part of the world but my god they taste good. Sammy’s I salut you and your devastatingly good pizza. I will dream of it often, quick question, do you deliver to nyc? Please say yes :)

Wonderful pizza. Cut in squares. Delicious and HOT! Family run business with extremely friendly service. Very near Lambeau Field, home of the Packers.

We ordered a cheese and mushroom pizza. The nice waitress asked if we wanted garlic on it. «GARLIC? «I asked her, «is it good»? She just shook her head yes.

I had the combo pizza and it came out sizzling hot. The crust is thin and crispy, just as I like it. The sauce is a little more sweet than I prefer, but it was still good and I know some will really like it!
Service was quick and waitress was polite. Would recommend for anyone wanting a good sit down family dinner.

This is my favorite pizza place in town. I have been to Sammys at many of the locations and I have never been disappointed in the pizza or staff! The sausage is to die for. You get one sausage per each slice of pizza. Very reasonable price for pitchers of beer as well! Definitely recommend to everyone.

Sammy’s is a delicious treat and should be your first stop for food in Green Bay. I’ve been there several times on trips to see family in the area, and every visit has been a great experience.
Their thin crust pizza is the major selling point, cut into small squares and triangles similar to a lot of Chicago area classics. It has that unescapeable addiction factor like those places do as well. This isn’t a pile of excess toppings, gooey cheese, or buffet on a plate. It’s a nice crispy wafer of mouth-​watering goodness that has just enough consistency to stay together and make your stomach smile. Should you save some leftovers for home, or have that last square? I leave that difficult predicament up to you.
Garlic Bread in all its varients (regular, cheese, pesto) is reasonable fair, although nothing special and not terribly big in the portions department. I had their Tomato Basil soup and while it wasn’t much more than marinara sauce with melted cheese it was very tasty and worth getting. The cup size was more than enough, I couldn’t see splurging on a bowl anytime soon. I haven’t tried their pastas, but the menu descriptions speak to my Italian heart and other family members thoroughly enjoyed theirs. The Gnocci, Rigatoni, and various Raviolis all gave me hesitation, but their pizza is such a classic that it’s really hard to deviate.
Service is warm and polite, very friendly for families, parties, and couples. This, besides the incredible taste, is one of the big bonus points for them compared to most Chicago area places. Those establishments tend to put taste and popularity above all, while Sammy’s is far more welcoming.
The only small knocks on them would be price ($ 22 – 25 for most large Pizzas, $ 10 – 15 for dinners), a fairly homogonized selection of pre-​made specials, and a simple atmosphere. I’ve also been to pizza places on par with them, although not many and certainly not in Wisconsin. These are all incredibly minor qualms, so bottom line is that Sammy’s is a must visit. Order more than you want, because you will want those leftovers
