Good pizza. Well worth the money, absolutely filling with a ton of leftovers. Atmospehere was a little drunk today but in good attitude, so family friendly. Cant wait to try the burgers, they looked awesome and fresh.

This is the first restaurant we went to in Green Lake and what a fantastic lunch! For appetizers, we ordered the cheese and meat tray with pickled veggies and pretzel type bread rolls. Very, very tasty! For lunch, my husband had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries, and he loved it. I ordered the shredded pork bourbon bbq sliders with fries, it was so good! Had shredded sharp cheddar and came with coleslaw on the side. We didn’t realize it was sprinkling/lightly raining, but we decided to stay outside. Felt bad for the hard working waitresses who had to use the menus for shields from the rain, I wrote in a suggestion that they are hard workers, and should be supplied with ponchos in the event of rainy weather and they still seat customers wherever they want. Very happy with the food, service, and the view cannot be beat!

Nice view. Perfect, bountiful basket of skinny fries! Soup was just okay. The peanut butter dessert was lovely. The tiramisu was still slightly frozen. Mallory was friendly and attentive.

Was looking forward to the lake perch fish fry dinner. But it was awful. Over cooked with to much batter. French fries tasted like they were fried twice. Service was poor. Ate at the bar and the bartender acted like we were an inconvenience. There were all of 8 people in the place on a Wed. Night. Only highlight were the cheese curds. They were hot tasty and seemed to be made fresh instead of a frozen product. All in all would not go back.

Most of our food was fine. The atmosphere would have been nicer if the weather was better. There were two issues that caused me to write this. My dad got the salmon for $ 16. It was the smallest portion of salmon my family has ever seen. It didn’t come with any sides, and we all had to offer him food to form a complete meal. There was nothing special about it. We complained to the staff and no solution was offered. The second issue was a bug in my sprite. I asked for another one, but there was no apology and a bit of skepticism. Why I would lie about a bug in my soda when there are free refills is beyond me. Other than that, everything was fine. But those two issues caused us a very unpleasant experience.

So I was here at the resort for a wedding and so there aren’t too many choices unless you go into town. So the food is like that of a typical low quality sports bar but the service is awful and slow. Make sure you order your next drink when they being your first one.

I’m not sure this is the right way to do this, but I began my review of this place in my review for Heidel House Resort & Spa. I shall put the full version here, because I have a lot to say about it. We patronized this venue after a rehearsal dinner on the resort property. There were a handful of others in there, and the gentleman running the bar was super nice and friendly, but has absolutely no business being behind a bar, let alone running it. We were the only group actively ordering drinks and it would take him ten minutes to pour six shots. He also made it evident that he was incapable of multitasking and would have to complete an order, including payment, before moving on to the next thing. I could understand that in a packed bar, but not when there’s six of us… that were together… and all paying on one tab. There is a nice fire feature on the patio, but if you’re having any sort of fun out there after dark, you’ll get shushed by security. The next day, we grabbed some lunch here, and it was ok. Pricey. I ordered the crispy chicken salad and it was fairly tasty. I asked for my salad dressing on the side and of course it arrived already on the the salad. The burger my husband had was ordinary. Service was spectacularly slow considering that Mr. Bartender had a friend to wait tables this afternoon and there was only one other table and they already had their food. Sigh. Things only got worse after the wedding ceremony with a large crowd. After the ceremony, a large crowd migrated in. There was a rush on drinks and Mr. Bartender and his friend couldn’t keep up to save their souls. I was able to acquire one drink in 32 minutes. Eventually they called in reinforcements, but it took far too long and by the time they arrived we were moving on to the reception. I’m not a hospitality professional, but since they knew there was a wedding on property, wouldn’t it make sense to send down reinforcements ahead of time? Early on, the crew of groomsmen came in and asked if they could have a bunch of beers quick so they could get back to pictures. Sure, said Mr. Bartender man. He then proceeded to walk away, get one lime wedge, deliver it to a woman nearby, wait for her to get out her card, run the card, and wait for her to sign the slip, and then return to ask the boys what it was they wanted again? Oh my. We came back again after the reception, because there is nowhere else to go, and it was bad as ever. It was just Mr. Bartender man and his friend again and they were pretty hopeless. We just brought our cooler from our room down to get drinks from since serving us appeared to be a challenge. I forgot to mention that all the drinks were over priced as well. Another captive audience trick. I understand that they don’t have to have it together since they are the only bar on the main part of the property, but you’d think they’d try a little harder.
