Earlier this year I thought I had found the best appetizer ever in the form of «Tachos». The«Ute Pass Poppers» proved me wrong. These wontons filled with cream cheese, chicken, bacon, and what other mystical ingredients are the best appetizers I’ve ever had– ever! Then we had the«Mountain Man» pizza. It comes with elk sausage, pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage and then we added jalapeños and red onions. This pizza was f@@king amazing! This is in my top 3 favorites the first being Fazzaris, the 2nd being a homemade Chicago deep dish pizza made by one of my dearest friends. The pizza reminds me of Fazzaris because of the crisp thin crust and the unusual toppings. I’m craving the Blue Moose pizza right now even though I’ve just housed my leftovers. They also have some serious signature drinks, my wife had the«Rocky Mountain Bear Fucker» when we asked what was in it we were told it was a secret but kind of like a 4 Horsemen. My wife said that it wasn’t to bad and chased it with one of the ciders that they had. This place has great food, friendly staff, good people, the entertainment was great, awesome atmosphere, and a really good beer selection. It’s kind of tucked away in GMF, but worth the trip. We will be back for sure.

My wife and I love this place. Super friendly staff and the patrons I have met thus far have been some of the nicest people I’ve met in the area. The food I have eaten thus far has been excellent. The Ute Pass Poppers is a twist on the traditional Jalapeño Popper that frankly is my new favorite popper. Jalapeño, cheddar, chicken, bacon, cream cheese and mozzarella stuffed and wrapped in a wonton skin and deep fried. An absolute must try in my opinion, never tasted anything like it.

Probably my favorite place to go for good food(pizza, wings, nachos to name my three favorites). Tons of clear televisions make this ideal spot to watch a game or fight. As previously mentioned yes, they definitely have karaōke… which is probably better than having to pay a mediocre band play. The locals in the area are awesome and live to have a good time. Mid you aren’t getting served a drink, you are probably not appearing very friendly as every experience I have had the staff is awesome and attentive. Check it out!

What a gem and tucked away so quietly in GMF. I’ve been here several times now and I am impressed with everything. The service is spot on and they serve team style so everyone is making sure your drinks are flowing and food is fab. The menu is small and managable but the pizzas and the calzone are wonderful. The crust on both is thin and crispy not doughy and guilt ridden. The ingredients popped with flavor.(I sound hungry huh?). I saw both a band and the karaōke set up. This is a fun place with a nice variety of people of all ages and types. It’s an awesome small town bar with great everything.

Second stop in as many days and I guess unless you’re a friend of the bartenders, don’t expect good service. I sat at the bar and watched the bartender take an order from someone sitting beside me(a beer) and then wait over 10 minutes while the bartender served at least 5 people who came up to the side of the bar while he waited. This was not the only time this happened. I noted several times when she did this. Second time, I came in to watch the Sugar Bowl. Hours posted say the place is open until 11. At 8:30, the bartender makes last call. When I questioned the bartender, she replied, the owner said to close at 9 tonight. Nothing posted, nothing stated when I came in, nothing. I guess the hours are really at the whim of the owner. When I moved into this area, this bar was a great neighborhood establishment. Now it’s a long way from that. I doubt I’ll be stopping in again, especially if I’m hoping to watch any sports events that may run longer than the owner’s bedtime. Once I thought this was a good place. Things have gone down recently to a point I won’t go back. Recommend passing this place by. Service sucks, food is mediocre and expect to wait unless you’re a buddy of a bartender.

I hadn’t been here since it was the Silver Tongue Devil Saloon, but change is good right? We had just hiked up to the Catamount Reservoir and we were starving. We had the dog so we decided to stop by The Blue Moose and have a bite on the patio. It started raining, but we were pretty sheltered at the outdoor bar. They also have water dishes for the dogs out there as well. Our waitress was very attentive and personable. The pizza was amazing and we finished the whole thing. We also loved the beer selection and microbrews that they had. This is definitely the local hangout spot. We will be back again. We’d come more if we lived closer. Also I think the hours have changed because we came in around 1 pm on a Tuesday.

This is a locals bar that is quaint and friendly. They did a makeover in the last year or so and the bar is much better for having a beer and meeting new friends. The bar staff is very friendly and they have a nice selection of beer on tap. There is a stage for live bands and a dance floor. There are TVs for football. The location is in the center of Green Mountain Falls so you can come by for a stroll around the lake and then have pizza and beer in the Blue Moose.

It’s a fun little beer joint nestled in Green Mountain Falls, CO. Drink prices are reasonable and there is a good selection of bar food on the menu that also includes pizza. There is live music on selected nights(mostly weekends). The Moose has a nice outdoor patio that overlooks the town’s small lake. Locals frequent this place. The atmosphere and décor is pretty quaint and laid back. From my experience, it appears that everybody has a good time at the Blue Moose Tavern.

Great atmosphere with terrific pizza selection and beer. This establishment used to be the Silver Tongued Devil Saloon and came under new management. Wednesdays are $ 1 taco night with $ 2.50 domestic happy hour specials all week.
