Delicious cookies. 4 stars instead of 5 bc the customer service was lacking. The young lady behind the counter could have been friendlier. It seemed as if my friend and I were disturbing her. I ordered a quarter pound of snickerdoodles and toffee crunch (I think) cookies. I don’t like additives so I don’t eat very many store bought /​purchased sweets. However, I could taste that these cookies were made with the good stuff –sugar, butter, cinnamon, sugar etc.

I did not purchase from here. After seeing all of the reviews, I called to inquire about a cake for my wedding. A gentlemen with a heavy accent answered; I asked did they do wedding cakes and was told ‘yes’. I then asked if a tasting could be scheduled. I was asked when was my wedding date and then told to call back three weeks before. I’m a bit disappointed and may try to call back later to try someone else. Why would I wait until three weeks prior to choose the bakery?

I’m guilty… I’m quick to jump online and write a review for bad service or bad food but I don’t always give kudos. I’m working on this!
So Heavens Bakery was Heaven sent! I needed a last minute B-​day cake. I called and gave my order over the phone (I had to leave my credit card info. I don’t blame them). I ordered a yellow cake with fresh strawberries & whipped cream icing. I was by far one of the best cakes ever! My Father in Law loved it. He was blown away by the fact she used FRESH strawberries, the icing wasn’t overly sweet and the cake was moist. This will be my go to bakery moving forward.

Those snicker doodles… so good you wanna slap somebody. I mean what is thier recipe. The place isn’t anything more than a lil mall to go bakery but the cashiers were nice and attentive. I will surely be returning for my cookie fix…

I ordered a birthday cake for my godson. It was perfect. Ordering was very easy. They had several large books with cake decoration themes and ideas to choose from. You can also just give them an image. The cake itself was very moist. I was worried that a bakery cake would turn out dry and no one would want a 2^nd piece. Not so. I got a vanilla cake with lemon filling. It was not overly sweet, and reminded me of how birthday and wedding cakes tasted before it became the norm for them to be all dried out and wrapped in fondant. On top of everything, the price was less than half of what I thought I’d pay for a specialty cake. I will definitely be coming back for cakes in the future and will tell anyone who needs a cake to go here.

Eat at your own risk! Once you go Heaven’s Bakery, you can never go back! (And by that I mean you never go back to any other bakery!) I drive from Tyson’s to Greenbelt to get my Snickerdoodle fix on the weekends! The chocolate chip, white macadamia, almond butter crunch, strawberry shortcake… heck — everything is delicious there!
Also if you are in need of a cake, do yourself a favor and get it here! Not only do they have a TON of different designs («adult» cakes as well), they use butter cream to do everything! None of that nasty fondant! (Should be called fon-​dont!)
If you do end up going — make sure you grab some for your friend’s and family too — ! Its always nice when someone else makes that trip for you!
Going to have to brave a trip again soon… need to get my snickerdoodle fix.
(Pro-​tip: Cookies are best consumed within 2 – 3 days! I don’t think they put any preservatives in them, so if you leave them out for a week, it won’t be as good!)

Hidden gem! I’m not a native to the area and the first time I passed by this place I didn’t even pay attention. Beltway Plaza Mall isn’t really a place I like to wander around in. Fast forward a few weeks later when I was in my third trimester and craving desserts. I have Unilocal to thank for this one. Their snicker doodles are amazing. Actually, I dig all their cookies. I also keep coming back for their strawberry cheesecake. The people that work there have always been friendly so no complaints in that department too. I’ve never tried their cakes but I got some quotes once when I was in search of a baby shower cake and their prices are super affordable. I’m planning on getting a cake for my daughter in a few weeks and I will update then.

I planned my wedding in a month and needed to get a cake… and FAST! So I remembered how I would see people ordering cakes here all the time when I am getting the delicious Snickerdoodles. I flipped through the picture book and picked my design, my flavors and size. When she told me the price I almost hit the floor. It was VERY inexpensive… I had a two tier cake, the top was German Chocolate, the bottom was yellow with fresh strawberries inside for 60 – 70 people for under $ 200. EVERYONE LOVED IT!!! This will be my go to bakery from here on out.
(The only thing is they don’t use fondant which is fine by me because I don’t like it anyway)

Never really had they cakes before, but on the other hand their cookies are bomb, always Fresh & Big, and they even offer to warm their yummy cookies … lls but I do enjoy going there every now and then … its funny cause they know me now so every time I go over there they know what I want sigh, but I still love their Bakery

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BAKERY!!! I have been coming to here for over 5 years and they have yet to disappoint! When you walk by you smell the sweet aroma of cookies and cakes and it draws me right over and the next thing I know I am ordering cookies and pieces of cake! I’ve tried the Chocolate Chip, Snicker-​doodle, White Chocolate with Macadamia Nuts, Brownie, Cookie on a Pop… DELICIOUS! They even offer to warm your cookies which is an A++ for me.
I had the pleasure of getting a piece of rum cake a few weeks ago and boy let me tell you… that was the best rum cake I’ve had thus far! Last year I ordered my son and I birthday cake from Heaven’s and it was simply perfect! They were patient, courteous and had plenty of suggestions and pictures to choose from when I was trying to pick out the cakes. Cake was ready on time as promised and it was awesome. My cake was decorated just as we discussed and was beautiful. This is by far my favorite bakery in PG County!

This is my go-​to bakery in the county. I can’t come through this mall without picking up a dozen snickerdoodle cookies. Everything tastes freshly baked. I’ve also ordered 2 custom designed cakes from them plus a cookie cake. They have TONS of designs to fit any theme and they’ll work with you to customize or create a new design. Love this place!

Excuse my naivety, but the first time I had a snickerdoodle, which was 3 years ago, I was perplexed by the lack of peanuts, caramel and nougat. *light bulb goes off* OH! It’s a snickerdoodle not a Snicker doodle! So I’m not sure what a snickerdoodle is supposed to taste like, but I do know that the ones here are soft and delicious! The chunky chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia cookies, and brownies are great as well. I also ordered our baby shower cake from here and it was cute (little baby booties & rattle) and tasty.
If you’re ever in Beltway Plaza – I only go here for the 3 Bros, Target, Quiznos, Sports Zone (awesome shoes), Popeye’s, and Silver Diner – Heaven’s Bakery is a good place to load up on your daily RDA of sugar and butter. For a 2000 calorie diet, I think they recommend 10 tbs and 1 stick, respectively*
