Visual Eyes

J went into the greenbelt location for a adjustment. My frame was crooked. I told the lady who assisted me they were lopsided. She went into the back and did something. She came out and handed me my glasses. I tried them on and they were still lopsided. I told her they were the same. She said it was because of my prescription. It was clear she had know clue as about what she was doing. She needs some training in basic optical adjustments.

The optician was very nice and professional. However, I cannot say the same about her receptionist. She was rather unprofessional and acted like she didn’t want to work there. Asking for directions was murder. She gave vague directions and was unclear of the location of the store. When I asked her where in Greenbelt were they located. She said, «Greenbelt!» (in the most sarcastic way possible.

I schedule an appointment for Monday the 28^th of November. I know I scheduled it because a Monday morning is a big deal for me. First off I have to inform my boss that I need to come in late that day because I have an appointment. Then once approved I have to put it in my outlook and tell like 20 people via a meeting invite that because I’m going to be «late» my cash reporting is going to be late that day too. Then all 20 people accept the meeting reminder via Outlook. So basically EVERY DAMN BODY IN MY COMPANY now knows I have this appointment. The appointment is then confirmed by Visual Eyes by phone when they call me to remind me of the appointment.
So I go Monday and what… they have no record of an appointment for me. Not on Monday, not on Tuesday or anytime in the future or past. Weird I assume though I have put the address in Outlook which I can verify through my smart phone I have to be wrong. I assume this because the woman is so matter of fact about it. So I go out to my car and using my phone log call back the number that confirmed the appointment… guess who picks up the lady who just told me I don’t have an appointment. I ask her if she is sure because I’m calling back the number that confirmed. Basically there is nothing she can do and if I’d like to waste more of my time I can schedule an appointment for later that day. No thanks… I’ll just go somewhere else.
