I’m moving to San Diego soon so I just wanted to write a review to say thank you for being so awesome over these years. I’ve been using Community Mini Storage for over a decade. They’re located in a super-convenient spot between the 101 and 580, their prices seem to be lower than anywhere else, the doors and codes always work, and owner Karen and sidekick Andrew are friendly and helpful. I love that I can use their truck for free, and have several times, hiring day workers over off Bellham to do the heavy lifting. So thanks again!

This review is more about the service versus the facility itself. Karen, the owner, has a lot to learn about customer service. When inquiring about a unit, I was given a hard time not only about how much space I needed (the didn’t have what I needed but that’s ok) but also about WHY I wanted space or temperature control. When I said that I’d be willing to take a smaller unit and also rent from a gentleman down the street, she said she would rather not rent to me if I went with someone who had a bad reputation (he doesn’t). She didn’t even approach as a nudge-nudge warning… it was downright venomous.
Really? You’re going to turn down a client AND badmouth another vendor? I’d rather rent 20 miles away and pay double then rent from you. Bad ju-ju.
