Looking for something different in Bön Air for lunch today, I stopped in here. Not the friendliest bunch but whatever. I ordered a chicken burrito IN A BOWL and a drink. When they delivered it, the burrito«ingredients» were placed in different compartments of a paper plate. I asked for the burrito in a bowl. Clerk said this is the way people like it(on a paper plate). He said I could mix it myself. The meal was ok but I won’t be going back … too many choices for burritos around here.

all i can say is … no bueno ! will not be back again … It was way too hot spice wise and I enjoy spicey. The food is barely edible and surprised this spot is still in business. It won’t be for long…

Walking past this place every morning for over a month to grab a coffee before work, I always see a man and woman seated at the front of the restaurant talking with the door open. I had walked by various times of the morning. Assuming they were open for business, One morning I thought I would check it out and see if they had breakfast burritos. The door was open, I walked in and was greeted with screams from both people sitting their. «WERECLOSED» with the ugliest look you can imagine. I know they both work at Roadrunner because they are their every day. NICE customer service! I will never go back and after reading the reviews! Oh Yeah I can see why!

Did not check Unilocal before coming here I was to hungry . This is not a Mexican restaurant . I don’t understand how they can sell food like this. Asada is like cooked in water or something it’s not grilled. It’s nasty. I hope I don’t get sick later. Steamed rice in the burrito? Are you kidding me ? Nasty guacamole. Won’t ever come back. Expensive so called burrito. Save your money . Go to a taco truck. Go to chipotle it’s cheaper too.

Place is great for a quick burrito at lunch or dinner. I get the El Stuffo chicken burrito — packed burrito with good combo of rice, beans, sour cream and marinated chicken. The reviews here are way too low than what this place is like — I’ve been going here for 8 years. A guy below gave them a 1-star because not enough pork in the burrito? Really? Get the El Stuffo Chicken burrito, it’s delicious. The burritos are definitely better than the quesadillas because the quesadillas aren’t pressed that tightly so the meat falls out at times. Fast service, good burritos, and if you’re craving mexican food this place does the trick.

I bit into a huge Locust in my spinach and mushroom Burrito. It was horrific. Needless to say I will never come back. I did return the take out burrito and at least they gave me my money back.

This place was fine but I wouldn’t make it a point to return. I had a chicken azteca burrito and my friend ordered asada tacos. The veggies were fresh, the meat was ok. Nothing terrible but nothing fantastic. Service was quick and the place was bright and clean.

This place is really very average. There isn’t a lot of pizzaz in the food — it is bland and boring. And honestly, you can find so many places like this. If they kicked it up a notch, made it more unique, had better flavor, and do different kinds of meat — like shredded chicken for instance it would be much better. I want to feel the love — not the boredom.

Don’t even bother stopping here. Bland food indifferent service. Reminds me of high school cafeteria food

Ordered the Picante Pork burrito with black beans, guacamole, sour cream. What I got was a Black Bean burrito with only a few small chunks of pork. The lack of pork was ridiculous, I had to search for the pork. Service was quick and friendly, I liked the location. Can’t recommend based on the lack of meat in the burrito. I won’t be returning to Roadrunner.

Love this place! I’m a mission district only burrito fan and this spot is Convient, food is fresh and the service is always very friendly and fast. Usually get dinner on the commute north 101 for the weekend. I grab a bite before hitting the open road. Thanks Jenn

$ 3.50 for a taco? No no no. I ordered two tacos here yesterday, one chicken and one beef. First of all, everything about this was American style food. The serving was huge but with all the wrong toppings. Nothing authentic about this restaurant at all. The meat was also very bland. I won’t be back.

I don’t understand the negative reviews here and I don’t think Roadrunner Burrito deserves the low rating. I’m purposely knocking it up a star for that reason, but, granted, it’s a three-star burrito place reviewed by an East Coast know-nothing when it comes to taquerias. Came here with a colleague for lunch and ordered a burrito. I forget which. One of the spicy ones with chicken in it. The burritos arrived promptly with professional service and we sat outside and ate it. The burrito was compact, stuffed, filling, and satisfying. If you’re a city person and you look down on «inauthentic» suburban burrito places, or if you’re a suburban person and you’re shocked to realize that this place isn’t a 17-Michelin Star award-winning strip mall bistro, you’re missing the mark. Food make live. Burrito good.

Pro’s: Inexpensive even in the Taqueria Category. Staff is nice and accomodating. Food prep was fast. Con’s: Chicken was waaaay dry. Food overall… not great. not even that good. So «meh.» Sorry Roadrunner, I won’t be back.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I thought I give it a shot and try a new place and now I’m regretting that I did. I ordered the steak nachos with everything. It looked decent but it was nothing to die for. The cashier had asked me if I wanted it to be spicy and I said yes. When I got it it had pico de gallo so I’m thinking when did spicy salsa become that? As far as I know there’s a difference between spicy salsa and pico de gallo. Few bites in I had to put it down. Pretty much just threw away $ 8. So glad I have a taco spot close to my house cause I will not be coming back here again.

This place is terrible and has provided borderline unsafe food to me. I have been twice. First time, I got the chicken burrito with veggies. Wow, I had no idea a food could be so soggy and bland. It was absolutely tasteless and the watery veggies turned my tortilla into a sticky paper towel in about 3 minutes. I gave them a second chance a few months later. Ordered a chicken taco. What I was served was half cooked chicken and some condiments. I noticed my chicken was still pink about halfway through. I would have obviously brought this up to the owners but I was already home, and had thrown the mess away out of disgust. What a disaster this place is. I don’t wish harm to any business, but I do wish this place either would just leave or get completely new management.

This is pretty much an adequate Americanized burrito shack located in the Bön Air Shopping Center. The food here is not bad by any means. It’s just not particularly memorable either. A friend of mine(who runs marathons regularly) swears by their signature Roadrunner burrito. But then again, if you’ve just run 26 miles, I’m sure anything will taste amazing. I went in the other day and ordered a few grilled chicken tacos. I would’ve ordered a burrito but there were like 2 dozen burrito variations to choose from(and to be honest, I couldn’t really figure out how one chicken burrito was different than the other). And because I was in a hurry and just wanted something quick and easy(and too terribly filling), I went with the tacos. The tacos were fine. The grilled chicken was clearly fresh, and the whole thing was topped with lettuce, red cabbage, cheese, and hot salsa. You certainly get your money’s worth in food. It’s just that none of it had a real distinctive taste. It just came out as an assembly line taco. And if you wanted more of a Mexican flavor, you had to add more salsa and hot sauce. In my opinion, a taqueria lives and dies by the flavor of its meat. If the fish/steak/pork/chicken has been properly marinated, you don’t really need to drown the dish with salsa and other condiments. Like I said, if you’re hungry and want something quick and easy, Roadrunner Burrito is a perfectly decent dining option. They also offer a variety of tortillas to choose from(based on your dietary preferences). * If you’re in a hurry, I would recommend ordering your food in advance for pick-up. It can get crowded during lunchtime.

Got my only chance at a breakfast burrito before class and it was riddled with onions. Even though I asked for None. Thanks for, «hooking me up» with onions at 9 in the morning. I’m allergic threw this nasty stuff away… You guys f##+#ing suck. I hate you road runner. This is my second crappy experience here. 2 years ago I was served rotten shrimp in a 8 $ taco salad. My mistake for thinking I could have a nice breakfast… Stay away everyone, this place is for a freaking dead for a reason. Thanks for ruining two meals for me. Again, I hate you roadrunner burrito. You suck sooooo bad. Please go out of business and let another reliable place come through for people. assh$$$les

I went to this place yesterday after a hike in Ross. I was looking for a Chipotle but got excited when I saw what seemed like a somewhat genuine taqueria. WRONG. I love Mexican food. I eat it all the time. The chicken burrito was extremely bland. Tried spicing it up with salsa but that was basically just chopped up onions and tomatoes. Also bland. The lady that was working was very rude. First, when a lady came in asking for a new quesadilla because they gave her one with all the fixins and all she wanted was cheese, the female employee asked her«did you ASK for cheese only?» The lady said that she did. The employee grabbed the quesadilla, dumped it in the trash right in front of her, and stomped back to the kitchen to make a new one. Second, when I asked for some water, she grabbed the cup from next to the soda machine(that I’m sure had a filtered water option) and stomped over to the sink and filled my water cup with tap water. I don’t mind tap water, but this lady seemed to hate her job. I will not be going back to this place for the bland burritos. Food– 1 star Employee– 0 stars

It’s not gourmet in any sense, but it’s good. I think people are assuming too much or expecting too little. I also think Marin can be ridiculous. I mean, when you get together this many people with this much money and this much time on their hands, what do you expect? Put another way, it’s like«helping others» in this country: There are plenty of events and plenty of free stuff, but very little actually gets done. People like to feel good about themselves, but instead of spending money celebrating your own generosity, why don’t you just give money? Or actually do something yourself? The service is good. The prices are more than I like to pay, but they’re not bad for the mallborhood. I think I’ll be back.
