Regis Salon

I’ve spent years bouncing from salon to salon because I was never quite satisfied with a cut or style. I would return to a place a few times but they would eventually let me down, either with a bad cut, average color, or being too expensive. I now live an hr away from this salon but continue to make the drive just to see Caitlin. She is friendly, does great work and the price is reasonable. I have never once been dissatisfied or let down. Everyone here is friendly, does great work!

One of their guy stylists is really good. He had done my styling so many times and it was wonderful except last time when he chopped my hair unevenly on both sides of my head. No, it was not part of the style as 1. He told me that he will keep hair on both sides even so I can style either way. 2. He never even asked or even told me after the haircut if he changed what we agreed on. One side has less hair than the other side volume wise as he cut more hair from that side and it looks like I just have a handful of hair sticking close to my head, it does not even look full or shape around my head unlike the hair on the other side, so I made an appointment to get it fixed because only after I shampooed after a few days did I notice that. I went there for my 2 pm appointment and one of the stylists there said he will be here shortly in like 10 – 15 mins. I was like no worries. I thought may be he went for a quick snack break. Then it was 2.30 pm and I got up and asked the personnel at the reception and this time it was a different personnel who said he is not here yet because he called that he is running late but will be here shortly. Nobody cared to inform me? I waited until 3 pm and he still wasn’t there and nobody apologized or asked me when I was waiting for a SCHEDULED appointment for 1 HOUR. I then got up and left after 1 hour and nobody bothered to call me back or anything. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Moreover, my hair are crooked and would take a year to get evened out I think.

While the employees were kind in person and on the phone, the talent of the stylist that helped me today was lacking. Gentlemen, avoid this place. The man who helped me today while kind, was slightly out of his league. My haircut requires a simple hard part, which was defined from previous cuts at another location. This employee could not handle this, and now my straight line is now a Y, because he did not have the patience or ability to find and follow an etched in line in my head. Thanks for making it necessary for me to grow my hair out for the next half a year so I don’t look like a dummy. Prices were fair.

I’m not a particular fan of hair salons – I generally get my hair cut about once every year or two. A cut was becoming long overdue, and I stopped in to Regis, and they were able to fit me in without an appointment, even though they were quite busy. Melanie was really helpful and gave me just the cut I asked for.
