I don’t come to SC often, I think I have only been here a couple of times since it opened but I did enjoy my last visit. I tend to like more unique or «funky» shoes and they have a large variety of sneakers and very nice«normal» shoes. I found my red booties in the clearance area and they were a steal — makes me a happy shopper, therefore, I will check back to see what else I can find. Staff was friendly and not pushy. They make announcements over the pa while you are shopping which reminds me of being a child at that«blue light special» store. I thought it was funny. Clean, friendly and reasonable prices.

I can’t believe I set foot in a Shoe Carnival. I’m kind of particular about my shoes. But I’ve been needing to update my kicks, and thought I would see what they had here. Well, I hit the jackpot, big time! Shoe Carnival has sales on practically every shoe they stock, and they run«blue light» specials, and announce them over the p.a. as you shop. I was slightly disappointed with the men’s dress shoe selection– it was pretty blah humdrum. But your dad would proably like it. I grabbed some Timberland boots for winter. They were on sale and I live in Chicago. I need Timberlands for multiple situations. While I was trying on some fashionable Skechers the manager got on the mic and announced a buy one, get one at half price sale. The store is kind of fun, as they keep announcing specials as you shop, and they make funny on the mic, too. Ahh, the good old days of retail! I passed on the Skechers and got a nice pair of Saucony’s for my new running obsession. Half-Price, Ka-Ching! Checkout service was nice and pleasant as well. I’m sold on the Shoe Carnival!
