I really enjoyed the services of mani and pedi. The woman, who was older and didn’t communicate much, did a wonderful job. I enjoyed it so much that I asked for gift certificates for Christmas. THEN… four days after the service, my thumb started to throb and got red and swollen. So painful — right under the top of the nail. Then it started to turn brown and greyish colors. Great! I have a fungus. First time ever.
When I went in and scoped the place, it seemed clean, but apparently their sterilization techniques aren’t sufficiently sterile. I’m going back to ask for a refund for my gift certificates. If I have to see a doctor to get this pain, swelling and discoloration under control, I think I’m going to present the management with the bill. Such a shame! Just do what is required to keep your clients safe. I wish all establishments would post in view of their clientele just what the procedure is that they use to keep their instruments clean.

Extremely Rude! Just got off the phone after trying to make an appointment. I asked if I could come in at a certain time and he gave me a different time. I could not make that time, so then he started yelling at me what time I should come in. I think not!

I really like Tango. Great prices, great selection of gel polish. The staff are mostly great — Van is my favorite. She’s kind and does a great job. If she did my nails every time I would probably give it 5 stars. My only real complaint is that there is one woman who works at the salon who is rude (talked on her phone the entire time she did a pedi) and lazy (another time I was there she was watching TV on her tablet and had to be asked 3x to get up to help a customer. I tend to do mostly walk-​ins so I’m always worried I’ll end up with her again.

I went here for a gel mani pedi for the first time the other day after reading other reviews. I had a wonderful experience! I am pretty picky with nail places and this place offered a very clean and nicely decorated environment. The service could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I felt the prices were much cheaper then comparable nail places I had been such as polish and gloss in Milwaukee. I will definitely been returning often in the future.

I was excited because I called and they were very accommodating and got me in quickly. The man was friendly. But once he started my pedicure the phone rang and he had to take it which was no big deal. But then some clients came in and the staff was low so I felt things were rushed. It wasn’t horrible or anything just didn’t feel like things were done as well as I have had at other places. Also my toes are missing nail polish in some spots which sucks but again not a horrible place just have had better experiences at other nail salon. Probably won’t go back.

Inconsiderate!!! I made an appointment, the staff informed me to come in one hour from the time I called making my appointment at 1:30 showed up 15 min early for my appointment since I was around the shop. I waited patiently till 1:45 and asked if they were ready for me and the lady informed me that I would have to wait one extra hour to be seen since the staff member who was supposed to do my nails rather help a walk in client that he has a friendship with over me. When were they going to tell me? Inconsiderate, unprofessional and over all useless. In addition they had a terrible nail polish selection (cheap chine glaze polish).

AMAZINGLY AWESOME! How did I not know this place? I’m so glad I found this new place and will be telling my friends and family about it for an affordable and quality place to get their nails done! I recommend others check it out too! Soooo… I called at 7:15 and asked how late they were open and Kevin asked how long it would take me to get there. I told him 30 minutes and he told me that was no problem. (I didn’t know at the time but they technically close at 8:00!) I go in and instantly am impressed with how beautifully decorated and clean it is. Ken did my pedicure and while he was working, Kevin did my manicure. They were both so friendly, kind and unbelievably skilled. I got French tips on both my fingers and toes and they both turned out great!!! Which is difficult since my toenails are very tiny. They took their time even though it was past closing and didn’t rush plus were great at making conversation with me but not intrusive which some places have a hard time with. Obviously I was beyond impressed with them and will definitely be back!

This place is great! The décor is so bright and inviting. I felt very comfortable. The young man who did my pedicure gave a great foot massage! And their prices are very affordable, only $ 25 for a pedicure! I will definitely visit again.

I am 7 years old and went here with my mom. This place is the best there’s massages in the chairs you an move back and forth with them and they let your feet soak in hot water!

A Nail has changed names. I believe it’s Tango salon. Very friendly service and beautiful interior. I had a manicure and a pedicure for $ 35 which is a fair price. I also liked how they use washcloths instead of paper towels at their sinks. Very Eco friendly.

Friendly staff, gorgeous interior, coffee bar and excellent prices and service. This was my first ever pedicure and they had fun with me. My fiancé got both a manicure and a pedicure with designs on her nails that turned out excellent! Haven’t gotten hair done here yet, but I’m sure she will try it out next time she needs a cut!

I had been here in the past before the remodel and new name (now Tango). I wasn’t a fan before and sadly my opinion hasn’t changed. It was small and it was dirty. I had driven by and the sparkle of the chandeliers caught my eye and I noticed the new name and remodel so I decided to stop in for a mani pedi. The décor is absolutely beautiful. However, the upgrade won’t make me a return costumer. The place was fairly empty and I received service right away. I was told to pick out my polish. While the selection seemed vast and the display was nice, I was highly disappointed in the selection. Most of it was cheap China Glaze colors, I saw maybe 3 bottles of OPI and there were a lot of duplicates.
The pedicure was okay. The pushing of my cuticles hurt and she barely even did anything as they were still there when I left the salon. I HATE when places don’t let your cuticles soften enough.
Next was the manicure. I was astounded to find out towards the end of my mani that the person giving it to me was actually the owner. While she was really nice, her quality was beyond poor. As you can see in my picture, there were still cuticles, especially on my pinky and the the polish was terrible. She had commented that she didn’t like the polish I chose because it was too «milky». Well if you don’t like a polish… then why do you even offer it??? I should have complained but I wasn’t in the mood. I left completely unhappy and went home and took off the polish and cleaned up my own cuticles and reshaped my nails. What a waste of money! I WILL NEVER BE BACK.

I’ve always had extremely good service here, but now… it’s a salon and spa (new name is Tango Salon and Nail Bar) and it’s even better. Super clean and everything is state of the art and brand new! The owner is Kim and she’s a real sweetheart. Even have a cappuccino machine (cinnamon is the best). Best news of all — prices stayed the same for the mani/​pedis. They really do it all — facials, massages, waxing, hair, and of course nails. Highly, highly recommend you give it a try!
