Skip it. Expensive and poor quality. We were 9 for dinner and 9 out of 10 dishes were a real disappointment. 2 of us ordered fish tacos with avocado for $ 28. Very plain, no taste, and they forgot the avocado. When we mentioned it they reduced the fee by $ 2. What a ripoff. Two had lamb and they said it was dry. One had duck and it was dry. One had mousaka($ 28) and it was below average. The only good dishes were the salads and soups. Service was cold and unfriendly. Skip it.

I went there for the first time tonight. The salad was just tons of lettuce, a few small pieces of tomatoes, maybe one slice of cucumber. I had the lamb gyro. The meat was so tough I couldn’t even chew it. Man, compared to Mediterranean or Skorpios in Huntington, what a disappointment and also high priced and for what? Back to Huntington I go.

Great little joint. Nothing disappointing here, except for the«lengendary grilled cheese: White bread and american, dull», but who cares? Great Falafel, lamb, etc.

Very average food and high prices for what you get. Service staff is good, but owner is not very friendly. Ask for a little extra sauce and you will be charged extra!!! Portions ok, food unremarkable. Many better options available.

The Best Kept Secret in town. This little place is a gem. The owner and staff are always welcoming and friendly. They don’t just have your typical Greek fare. It’s more like Mediterranean with a twist. There are plenty of veg options, the bean salad is unbelievable, served with crispy romaine lettuce. The portions are plentiful, I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Lunch specials are 3 courses and a bargain. My fav is the grilled salmon over Greek salad. The chicken souvlaki is tasty. They actually use real yogurt(not sour cream) to make the yogurt sauce. They have a great avocado appetizer with shrimp and melted feta cheese. Everything always tastes fresh. Everything is made to order, so patience and a few appetizers are key if ordering a labor intense Moussaka entrée, well worth the wait. I really enjoy the homey feeling of this café, it is both kid friendly and a great date spot. This is a scratch made gem only for true foodies!

The food actually gets the three stars. It is always tasty and well made. On the other hand the service and the owner make this place hard to frequent. Each time I go there I say it will be the last. I think the wait staff is under a lot of pressure from the owner who is typically hovering around. Unfriendly would be a very kind way to describe this place. a little on the expensive side and they they often give less food if you get it to go. I know the food business is hard but you could get the feeling of being nickel and dimed.

Staff was very nice but the food was probably the second worst I have ever experienced(Place in East Marion takes worst) The Greek salad was just shredded lettuce with feta and one slice of tomato and one olive, yes ONEOFEACH! No onions, no cucumbers and no greek seasonings. Then came the souvlaki came out. Chicken was tasted very good, but the yogurt sauce came in a shot glass type dish and looked more like a drink than a sauce. Way too watery with no seasoning! I felt like chef Ramsey in one of those Hell kitchen Episodes. ADDSOMESEASONINGPLEASE! The rice pudding was undercooked and watery too. Watery seems to be the theme here. My friend’s entrée came with French fries, although good she only received about six fries. Then I needed to use the restroom. NOSIGNATALL not even on the door! The hallway in front of the door was littered with stuff that look like it came from my grandma’s house. Shopping bags, fax machine, papers stacked up, boxes. I am surprised the fire department has not cited them. I knocked half the stuff over when I was trying to manipulate the door way. Overall if they added some seasoning, were more generous with their French fries and thickened up things a bit would be a great improvement. Also get one of those hoarding shows to clean that place out! Oh and make the Greek salad taste like a Greek Salad, I may go back. There are some redeeming qualities, like the unique salad dressing. That was very good.

A study in contradiction. The best Avgolemno soup around. Delicious Souvlaki and a decent Greek salad. Weird service, standoffish owner and a strange, mildly unfriendly vibe. This is a great place for take out but I can’t put my finger on why it has a bad vibe. Despite that, I will walk hot coals for the soup!

Been there once, had a gyro with extra TSA tsiki… was watery… too heavy on the lettuce, not enough meat! Fries were soggy! You got nothin on Astoria!

We’ve gotten takeout from here about five times. I have tried several local Greek places and they were pretty decent but this place kicks their buttocks. I am in LOVE. They are friendly and the food is so flipping FRESH. The hummus is delicious, and not overly prepared(we like a slightly chunky hummus) served over a bed of lettuce with cucumbers, and drizzled with their insanely addicting dressing. The dressing: it truly needs its own paragraph but I lack the ability to describe such perfection. We get extra and put it on everything for the rest of the week. When we run out, we realize it’s time for a foodgasm again… thus the vicious cycle of addiction. The lemon potatos are probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten; perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of… lemonosity. I want to talk about all the dishes we’ve tried, but this would be too long. You just have to experience the… taste-a-palooza that I clearly can’t articulate with words. Only negative for me would be the price. It’s pretty pricey but oh, so delicious. I’d rather pay a tad more for perfection than slightly less for mediocre.

First. It’s a lovely little local restaurant, not overly kitschy. Only about 10 tables but they do take out. We had the baked Saganaki as an appetizer and it was fabulous. Roasted cheese over tomatoes with pita. He had lemon chicken soup which made him very happy. We both had sandwiches with salads. The sandwiches were very good but the salad dressing was Amazing. Far to stuffed for dessert but we’ll try again for the crème brûlée.

Updating my review as I’ve gone back since the initial posting I made. I generally only order takeout from them now because I don’t find the waitress service to be that great and they don’t accept tips on debit/credit cards. Also keep in mind a $ 15 min. purchase to use a debit/credit. I’ve tried their chicken lemon soup and cream of tomato which are both very delicious although on a few occasions I’ve ordered it for takeout and they’ve called me back telling me they were out so I think they need to keep a better idea about how much they have left before people place orders. I have also tried their hummus and found it to be too chunky to the point where it kind of looks like wet cat food. I love their greek salad with grilled chicken breast but suggest for take out that you get the feta and chicken on the side because the warm chicken makes the lettuce soggy and feta melts by the time you get it home. The best part about the salad is their greek dressing which is amazing, it’s literally like the meth of salad dressings LOL and is the only reason I keep going back. The best way to describe it is a creamy champagne vinaigrette. Be warned though that when you eat in and ask for more they will charge you for extra which I find a little ridiculous considering you’re eating in, totally understandable for takeout though. Pita bread is also delicious but the yogurt sauce lacks flavor and is straight up sour cream rather than real greek yogurt. Overall 3 stars, perfect for a delicious takeout greek salad!

The Corner Stuffed Avocado Salad is one of the most delicious things I have ever had. It’s AMAZING and practically perfect in every way. The café is super cute and the waitress was very nice and attentive. I’m not in this part of town often but if I come back this place is at the top of my list.

We’ve been going to the Grecian Corner café my entire life and it is always good! We usually order delivery and the service is fast and reliable. Can’t wait for our next order from Grecian Corner. I don’t have a discerning palate for Greek food, but The food is always consistent. Love the Greek pizza and gyro. Their spanakopita and lemon chicken soup are also delicious!

There’s nothing not to like about this cute place. Me and my roommate comes here for dinner at least once a month. The food is great and always fresh. We love their Greek dressing and something about their lemon string beans, we can never do without. I also have tried their Falafels, Corner Stuffed Avocado Salad(with jumbo shrimps, one of my favorite), Shrimp Kabobs, and my roommate’s go-to is always one of the Gyros. The portions are big(always have left over for lunch the next day) and they definitely have some nice selections on their wine list too. To top it off, the owner, Katerina, is super friendly and sweet. I will definitely bring my other friends here in the future, no doubt.

Had a delicious meal(salmon sandwich with Greek salad) and was eyeing several other items on the menu. Excellent selection and amazing flavors. I look forward to my next visit. I can’t believe I didn’t come to this place sooner!

It’s a lovely, little corner restaurant that has a friendly and personable staff. I can’t say their falafel is all that great. It’s often mushy and lacks little in the way of seasoning. I find the pita overly thick and overwhelms the whole meal. I have tried them on several occasions to make sure it wasn’t an «off» day, but every time I’ve had the same dish and it’s been mediocre every time.
