Pros:
It’s great! The atmosphere is like a cool barn/​warehouse turned drinking establishment.
They make wonderful beer. I mean it. Adult good beer. Happy beer.
Staff is great and definitely not pretentious which can be of issue in Brooklyn.
Cons:
Its dumb that you have to order food separately (there is a line to order food even though we had a waitress). They are using the same system (I asked.) And two separate transactions and a larger tip to the kitchen when I noticed my server doing all the work irks me as a service employee.
I asked if the tips were all pooled and was coyly and politely told they were not.
In the Middle:
The ceiling was leaking. Eh

Went here for a beer tour earlier and it was the best! My third beer tour ever and this one didn’t let down. We had beer samples from the start while touring the brewery and they were awesome! In addition to samples, I also had two great beers: Milk and Honey, and Runner (dark chocolate/​porter brew). It was very DELISH! I love this place overall in terms of the warm ambiance and cordial environment it provided. I’ll gladly come back again!

I happened to stop by here on a Saturday night while we were in other bars near the area.
The food and beer was all really, really good. Especially the food. At 1am, their fries were sooooo delicious and they gave a hefty portion of it too — a plateful. The schnitzel was great as well. Friendly service too.
We ordered a flight and a couple of beers, the two beer that stood out to me the most were the Milk & Honey (a Blonde) and the Bowery (a Sour Amber). The Blonde went down so easily and had a very light taste. The Bowery was very sweet and tart, it was interesting because i think it’s made with red twizzlers. I didn’t have it, but my boyfriend thought the other sour beer on the menu was also great. The one we didn’t really like was the india brown ale (the Highline? I believe). It was super dark and pretty bitter.
The entire place is very spacious. With good food + drink, if i’m in the area another time i’d definitely stop by again.

Three stars average?! Are you kidding me?
Amazing beer at fantastic prices. The guys from Other Half started here and the beer doesn’t disappoint. $ 3 for a half pint and $ 6 for a full is nuts.
Food is decent, staff is great and that beer?! Awesome.
Go here now. Why it’s so dead is beyond me.

Great beer from an incredibly talented brewer, delicious food paired with an amazingly non pretentious drinking/​dining hall with HUGE communal tables, add great hospitality and you have a recipe for an amazing evening with friends. Check out the brunch at Greenpoint as well. YUM!!!

Beer was good.
Food: Overpriced, small portions.
Stopped in tonight for a plate of rigatoni and a beer. I weigh 115 lbs and was hungry when I came in. I left hungry as well. I couldn’t believe what a small portion of food I got for a total of $ 16 plus the $ 3 tip. I could have gone to The Bedford and gone to bed happy instead I’m literally sitting here still hungry (2 hours later) from the Greenpoint Beer experience.

Cheap and tasty beers, amazing food! Fire place, pingpong, and games. Super helpful staff! Pretty easy going as it’s not crowded during the week. Usually have sports playing on the big screen in the back.

Pros: The Beer. These guys are consistently putting out some of the best beer this city has to offer.
Cons: The owner is a freakshow of a human-​being 2 conversations with this man were enough to make me realize that I don’t want to give him a cent.

Always enjoy myself here. Great food and interesting tasty beers. Good spot to watch a game or enjoy a sunset if the weather is nice.
