OMG, I love this place!!! They were so friendly and helpful. I bought several olive oils and Balsamics and all have been amazing. I am an average cook, with these products I can’t believe how delicious my meals are !!! I gave some to my children who are in college and they love it too. It turns a basic meal into a gourmet meal!!!

Lots of infused oils and balsamic vinegars you can taste, as well as other specialty food items like olives, jams, tapenades, and salsas. The truffle salt popcorn is delicious!

What a wonderful experience we had shopping at this beautiful store. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar combinations are amazing! And the staff is ultra helpful. They also carry gift items such as lotions and soaps.

I have found this shop and its’ owner and staff all very exemplary. Nicely laid out shop with clear labels describing each (of the over 50 varieties) being offered. Great selection of quality Olive Oils, truffle & nut oils, as well as Balsamics and other specialty food items, most of which are available to taste. Friendly, knowledgeable owner and staff making wonderful recommendations for pairings, recipes and uses. One visit and your diet and cooking habits will be revolutionized forever!

very rude owner! i came out to greenport to relax but … she was the only one working in the store so i waited while she was with another customer. the thing is she kept me waiting while she was chatting it up with small talk. i have not problem with small talking a customer since i do it all the time in my store. but i never ever, ever keep a customer waiting 15 minutes while i do it! just plain rude!!!

The customer service is awful, rude and owner lacks professionalism. I am a repeat customer. Have purchased many different vinegars and oils. Walked into the store to return the bottles. The sales help/​owner wouldn’t take the bottles back. Now the label states to clean bottles. They would not take them back bc they were not cleaned in a dishwasher which isn’t stated. After I drove a long distance on a holiday weekend, taking me a long time to get here as well as having foot surgery don’t you think it would be nice to say okay we will take them back. Vines and Branches should clearly state on the label that the bottles MUST be cleaned by dishwasher. I was going to purchase many bottles of vinegar, but just walked out instead. This is a good way to lose customers!!!
I was outraged by the owner and in no way used profanity. My husband also heard the entire conversation. The owner also didn’t want to listen to me that I just had foot surgery. After driving this far out on the island it wasn’t possible to bring the bottles home to rewash in the dishwasher. The Crushed Olive offers better products and service.

decent product, lousy customer service. was a long time customer. when the Southampton store was closed a Tuesday after Memorial day weekend, I called in my order, informed who I was, placed a $ 150 order and asked if they can waive the shipping charge. they refused. when the order wasn’t fulfilled properly, I called and they told me, if I wanted to return it, I need to pay for shipping back to the store and shipping again to send the corrected items. both times spoke to the owner. As I stated above, product is good but customer appreciation is Null. might be the reason why, two stores closed and the one remaining one, is much smaller than original.
