A Special Place

After having had a terrible experience at Wig Plus I lucked out and found «A special place». As soon as I walked into the shop, I was warmly greeted. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, they served me right away, even though there were several other women there. The shop is clean, well organized and inviting. Everyone was so friendly and kind. They have a great selection of quality wigs, hair pieces and accessories at affordable prices. They have nifty little stations, like a hair salon, with comfortable chairs, mirrors so you can see how your hair looks from all sides. They also have private nooks if you prefer to have some privacy.
I have never bought a wig before and didn’t really know what to look for or what to ask. The lady who served me (Melissa) was wonderful! She asked me questions, inquired about my budget, measured my head and educated me on the differences between the types of synthetic hair, human hair, the types of caps and techniques that are used. They have a great selection of wigs to choose from, as well as catalogs, color hair samples you can touch and detailed information on care and styling depending on which material your wig is made from.
These ladies Really know their stuff! Melissa was able to pull wigs for me that looked amazing. They know how to match cut and color based on your skin tone and facial shape. The wigs she picked for me looked better than the ones I had chosen. I can’t say enough about this shop. They serve women who are dealing with chemotherapy, thinning hair and alopecia as well. Not only do they have a great wig shop, they also have an entire section of bras and swimwear for cancer patients.
