We stayed for four days and the location was great: close to family which is just what we wanted. Staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and daily housekeeping was meticulous. Sure, the breakfast bar could have used some more choices but, all in all, we were very satisfied. Dependable wifi and cable and complete quiet were exactly what we needed. Only concern is that, during rain so severe that outlying areas flooded, our window appeared to leak but this did not affect our comfort at all. We’ll be back.

Minimally acceptable motel. Beds, pillows and towels not very good quality. Free breakfast is pathetic – cold cereal and small muffins and small bagels. No fruit. Location is convenient to Friendly Center and several restaurants. Staff not unfriendly but showed no enthusiasm for their jobs. Window A/C was loud. Outside of window was very dirty.

$ 92 a night, which is including tax, for a single room with two double beds is a little steep for the mediocrity of this place, if you ask me. It’s not a peak season of any sort(mid-September) and it wasn’t a weekend(a Thursday night). The continental breakfast was pretty pitiful looking(some tiny pastries and mini bagels, microwave oatmeal packets, juice, coffee and two kinds of generic brand cereal). The room appeared clean but was sort of smelly and damp feeling. I don’t expect any hotel older than 5 years to be pretty in any way so that isn’t even factored in to this two star rating because they all have the same ugly color scheme of hunter green, burgundy, gold and navy that was so popular in 1996. We didn’t even use the shower or any of the towels. All they had to do was change the sheets behind us. They definitely got the sweeter end of the deal. The only reason I stayed here was because I needed this specific location. The lady that checked us in was nice. Basic cable tv. The beds were hard but I slept just fine. Quiet. That’s about it. Not bad but not great in any way. Don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding at the end of June. Can’t really complain too much for the great weekend rate we got($ 70/night + tax). I had traveled with a cheesecake from NYC that day, and the receptionist let me keep it in the shared kitchen fridge upon arrival — so nice. The free breakfast was minimal, but got us on the road with a mini bagel and some fruit in our bellies. The only problem with the room was that on the 2nd day, they didn’t make the bed and change any of the linens. We called down to the front desk, and after sending someone up, they said they only change the sheets«on certain days, and today wasn’t one of them» — ew.
