I’ll be nice and give it 2 stars just because I’ve previously heard good things. I highly recommend not coming here on special occasions specifically Valentines Day, we tried to call for reservations and were told they don’t make them but as soon as we got there they had 5 – 10 tables open due to «made reservations» and just let them sit empty. Also, tables at the bar that are usually first come first serve were not all made available. Not to mention the hostesses bad mouthed everyone in front of the waiting guests, which was very rude & unprofessional! I hope everyone has a better experience that we did!

Loved the bang bang shrimp! A little on the pricey side considering I’m use to having cheaper seafood living by the coast. But all in all, service was good, and food was good!

It was close to 5PM Friday, I called for a reservation and was told 6:45PM. I told the Staff person, I was going to the nearby theater for a 7PM movie and asked if there was a way to be seated earlier. He responded with a firm, «No». So, I said, «Thanks…never mind». Already enroute to the restaurant, we decided to take our chances. When we arrived, we were second in line and was seated immediately in a booth in the half-empty bar room! It took a while for the not-so enthused, waiter to greet us. But, once served, I got over the grumpy staff and we enjoyed a delicious meal.(Shrimp for him, Salmon for me!) However, the jury is still out regarding the overall service.

Ok first I must admit that my server was just amazing!!! Because of him, my review is as high as it is because I was not a fan of the food. The crab cakes tasted like they were doused in salt. I had to send them back. I tasted my friend’s crab cakes and they were also salty(but not as bad as the crab cakes). I ended up getting a salad with grilled shrimp which was ultimately fine.

Great place to enjoy seafood in Greensboro. Have eaten at others around the country but this one seems special. Not crowded and alway friendly. Love the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer but have thought about it as an entrée, too. Salmon and Chilean Sea bass are excellent. Drinks are sometimes unusual and creative but wine list is solid and reasonable. Service is attentive and helpful. Live this place.

Excellent service and very attentive. Good food, I asked them to alter the meal preparation and it was taken in stride.

I ordered a 13oz rib-eye steak tonight and it was juicy and tasty. The temperature of the steak was just nice. I orders the two side dishes — whipped potato and steamed broccoli. Both went well with the steak to be honest. For the price I paid, I found the value of the steak worth and I would recommend customers to give it a go to this restaurant.

I went to this establishment not really knowing what to expect, I had heard some pretty good things about it but wanted to see for myself. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the experience that I had there. I knew that I wanted fish, so I opted for the tilapia with lemon garlic sauce topping. It was phenomenal! It had been quite awhile since I had eaten tilapia that was as tasty as this one was. It was cooked very well and the consistency was very nice. The sides and bread were also very good. The wait staff was very prompt and did a great job of keeping up with our needs throughout the entire meal. I will definitely be visiting Bonefish again soon!

Oscar Turbo… billed as a sister fish to halibut with a mixture of sautéed vegetables… Well, what can I say. The Vegetables were very good. Now I usually like most any kind of fish, but the Icelandic turbo fish had absolutely«NO Taste» and was anything but similar to halibut. Seriously, no one at the Resturant, including the Chefs, sampled this $ 23 dish and I’m trying to be be kind. I did enjoy the wine and key lime pie and coffee. Sorry Bonefish, you need to buy any other fish but turbo in the future.

I’ve eaten at Bonefish many times. I wasn’t very hungry, so I opted for a lighter fare. I had the Chipotle Shrimp BBQ flatbread and it was pretty good. Next time I’ll leave off the peppers & onions since I’m not a big fan of them. I also had one of my co-worker’s lamb chops and it was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned although it was a little well done for me. I believe they cook their chops to medium well temp and it seemed more like it was well done. So if you like more rare temps, you may want to request the temp you want your chops.

This was my first time coming here. I usually don’t like to eat at big box places. I’m more into the food trucks, local, and indie spots. This place looks nice on the outside. It has this beach feeling on the outside. It’s nice. This place looks beautiful to me. It always has a lot of people waiting to eat here. The place isn’t real big which is cool. I got the Kobe beef burger which to my knowledge have read Kobe beef can’t be purchased in the USA. So I wasn’t buying the description. I got the Mac and Cheese side dish and they also made me bang bang chicken since I have a shell fish allergy. This was pretty awesome to me because most places will not alter any dishes for a person with shelf allergies. The Mac and Cheese wasn’t that great to me. It was messing some stuff. It was too bland. It needed some love. The burger was good. I got It medium rare which I don’t do often but it was good.

Good food(had salmon) but a little on the noisy side– others had desserts and thought very good. Parking is a little small but plenty across the street

Came here on 12÷30÷14 to have a nice dinner with my wife and MIL. Everything about this place was well above average! We started with the Bang Bang shrimp and the crab cakes. Both were delicious. My wife had the ribeye and the jumbo shrimp. My MIL had Chilean SeaBass and I had the Ahi Tuna. My entrée was easily the best cut of tuna I have ever eaten. Service was great and attentive and the drinks were always full. I would have given this place a 5* rating but, they were out of my favorite bourbon and the au gratin potatoes were a tad under cooked. We will be back soon. Very very nice place!

Came here for lunch on Saturday. The service was outstanding! Our waiter was Sean(Shaun? Shawn?) and he was very polite, informative, and attentive. My wife ordered the fish and chips and I got tacos with filet mignon and a cup of crab chowder. The food tasted great, especially the crab chowder. The filet mignon was a bit chewy in parts. The fish and chips was good. Our biggest complaint was how small the portions were. Granted it’s lunch, but you should never leave a restaurant still hungry… We will probably be back but for dinner next time.

Four out of a family of four give this two thumbs up each! The picky teenager was happy and the 10 year old with adult taste buds was in heaven. Happy kids means happy parents. The corn chowder with lump crab was a huge hit and a must try for anyone who hasn’t. My husband had a filet with a lump crap topping(I forgot the details) and he is still making the mmmmm sound a month later. We were there just before peak time. The service was great and the suggestions made by our waitress were excellent. That was a big plus since we had been in the car all day making us tired and hungry. I said my 10 year old above — this doesn’t not mean there is a kids menu. I didn’t see one and my child does not order from one. He always picks and eats from the adult menu.

This was my second time at Bonefish and I tried out their Bang Bang Shrimp and my wife and I were thrilled. Very good, along with my 8 oz Fillet and my wife’s Chelian Black Sea Bass. Both entrees were wonderful. Coffee and dessert, [special occasion], were out-of-sight good. Service was prompt and I thought very good. I like to be pampered when spending money for dining and service means a lot to me. My wife and I were very pleased…

While the food is always good the service was awful. We waited for 45 minutes(no problem) but then saw the staff seat 2 different couples before us when we were here about 20 minutes before them. When we questioned this the response was that the other couples were given a shorter wait time so they had to seat them first. Really? Next, as we are waiting for someone to take our drink order we see a table that was seated a good 5 minutes after we were getting their drinks served to them. As they are finally bringing us our drinks we see this table getting their appetizers. Food might be very good but it will be hard to come back when service is so awful.

Bonefish is the perfect place to go in Greensboro if you are feeling seafood, but no one thing really wowed me, to be honest. We came in for the $ 5 Bang Bang Shrimp Wednesday specials, and I know everyone loves this app, but it was a bit too saucy and salty for my taste. On top of the shrimp, we ordered the calamari appetizer as well, and that was also very salty. Too fried, and too many spices. I was literally gulping my ice water. We got the crab cakes and that was pretty good — just a classic crab cake done right. By the time we finished all this food, we didn’t even touch the fish and chips entrée we ordered, so we took that to go. I did eat that the next day and the fish was pretty bland. The fries were delicious though! All in all, the food was alright, but the only thing I would order again would be the crab cakes.
