When you go to a Hairy Peter, you can expect several things. These would include hair, itchiness, and I am kidding. When you go to a Harris Teeter, you can expect several things at *most* locations: A ridiculous selection low end to high end, hard to find items that you may find at Whole Foods or Fresh Market, a kick ass deli/bakery/produce/salad bar, holy abundance of wine and beer, and last but not least, higher prices in general to other chains such as Food Lion and some Lowes Foods. This store is at the corner of Horse Pen Creek/Battleground and is almost in Summerfield. It has a newer layout that you see at some HT’s. This area may be the better part of Greensboro dare I say, and the clientele clearly matches this. You can hate me for saying this, but what is true rings true. I noticed several things upon being in the store. One was the things mentioned before that is typical of what you would expect. The produce/deli/bakery/salad bar was clearly well done and this may be the best HT in the city for these things in my opinion. It was well stocked and well staffed in all areas of this side of the store. If you can’t find something in this area that you need(or don’t need), well you are impossible. The amount of staff working in this area was to the point of swarming and they clearly were doing what they are supposed to do. The alcohol section was deep(TWSS!) and varied too. AA partakers stay away. The store also has a pharmacy and a Starbucks. The Starbucks has a separate listing. Moral of the story is that if you are looking for something, this HT will have it. If you want good fresh produce, premade items, selection, etc, you will have it here. You will pay for it however as HT tends to be more expensive in general, particularly for processed and packaged foods. It is from what I can tell. Nice store and the best HT overall in Greensboro in my opinion.

I love when grocery stores are open 24 hours a day! When I visit my best friend in Greensboro we always manage to make a few trips here. Has the same vibe and feel as the Ralph’s out in San Diego(after all they are owned by the same company), with good selections and prices.
