Oh, I definitely ordered there. It was lousey… over a year ago, for sure… no reason to give you a bad review, if it was good. I don’t do that. Just downloaded Unilocal.(Never forgot the lousey pizza) Clearly you’ve got a problem. Giving a review shouldn’t be like this??? Get a grip dude. You can send a real pizza If ya want. Don’t care either way. I moved. Have a lovely day

This is a pretty decent place. It is definitely not a traditional pizza joint in that it serves Buffalo inspired pizza, and from what I know about that, it is traditionally made with a softer and sweeter crust. Being from the Jersey shore and having grown up with Brooklyn style pizza, I can’t say that this is my favorite. They make up for it though, and they have a lot of other offerings such as sandwiches, and their pizza balls, which are sinfully delicious. Their sides are ok. Fries are good, but the onion rings taste too much of batter. One of the best things about this place was it’s Cheerwine. I had never had it before coming here, and from what I understand, it’s a NC thing. The subs are good, nothing too special. I enjoyed the turkey sub I ordered. Customer service is excellent. Really top notch. Everyone here is nice and quick to offer suggestions for you. I really felt welcomed here. It is rare when I can say I was truly impressed with the customer service at a restaurant. Overall, this isn’t the type of place I would frequent weekly due to the offerings, but I will definitely be stopping in here from time to time.

The pizza is great. They offer gluten free pizza which makes my wife and kids happy! My favorite… the pizza balls. My goodness those things are ridiculous! The only thing better than good pizza is good pizza rolled up into a ball and fried!!! Well done. Their pizza truck is freaking cool too! Fresh pizza on a food truck. It’s cool!

I stopped in before going to the grocery store because I was starving and the only other options would have been fast food. Well, I kind of wished I went to McDonald’s. The best part about this place is the great service. However, the food left much to be desired. My salad was very watery and even with the vinegarette it was quite bland. And the worst part was the pizza. It was burnt beyond belief and very doughy. I may give this place a try again for a sub. But if you know good pizza then this is not the place for you.

Alright!! – this place has turned itself around since my last review. The pizzas have been delivered & presented beautifully, & the chicken fingers cooked just right. I love the menu – it has an array of items. I definitely consider Homeslice to be a neighborhood & locally owned joint(rather than Domino’s & such) that I’m glad exists. I give it a 3 only because not all the items on the menu seem fresh. Items like the chicken fingers, fries & onion rings taste like they were frozen first. But that’s what one would expect from an establishment such as this because what really counts is the pizza! But what a hit it would be if everything was fresh!
