Initially, I had a difficult experience with my move last year. The owner of the company contacted me directly to find out the surrounding details and see what he could do to make it right. He took it upon himself to personally ensure my satisfaction with the resolution of the issues. I think it says something when the owner of a company is directly involved in customer service and satisfaction. I appreciate the business ethics exhibited by the owner, along with the prompt action taken to resolve the outstanding claim. I will consider using MBM for my next move.

Moving is not something that is usually an enjoyable experience. The team that we worked with from MBM (American Van Lines) did everything they could to make our recent cross-​state move a great experience. From working with our schedule to going the extra mile to get us moved in ahead of the recent winter storm that hit the east coast… The team of movers, the driver and the folks at the call center were all professional, curious and more than pleasant to deal with. I hope it will be years before we have to move again, but I will not hesitate to call on MBM for our next move.

My dad passed away so I needed to pack up the things in his apartment and move them to a nearby storage facility. I live in Brooklyn, New York and my dad lived in Lincolnton, North Carolina. I didn’t know of any moving companies off hand. After numerous searches and unpleasant representatives, I stumbled upon a local North Carolina Moving Company, MBM Moving Systems. When I called, they were very professional, informative and made me feel very much at ease and confident about choosing the right company to do the job. The prices where reasonable and they even called me to confirm the moving time the day before. I had the best moving experience with MBM Moving Systems! Ron and Tanner were really great. They were very professional and friendly. They came in and got the job done in less than no time. I have been signing their praises ever since. I have and would highly recommend this moving service to others. Thank you Ron, Tanner and MBM Moving Systems!”

I was a bit nervous, I ll admit. I know that MBM pulled down 2.5 stars on Google and less on Unilocal.But I choose them because no other mover tried to get my business as hard as MBM and no other was as professional in trying to get my business. And, they made me a better offer than any other mover. MBM let me place my own locks on the truck for storage. Other movers basically hung up on me when I said that I wanted my own locks on the truck. Also, to make things more unnerving, I changed the load and delivery dates 3 times. I just knew it was going to be all wrong. **Note: I only moved 5 miles but it had to be loaded at a certain time and delivered at a certain time. I also didn’t want any hidden charges.** Per the above hidden charges, I had to ask and have them go down the list about specifics. The only one that applied to me was stairs and I think they cut the cost for me. The other that would have applied to me was TV’s. I decided to pack and move it myself. On moving day Eric and his team of 2 other gents showed up. I told them that this really matters to me, as I am sure they knew, and they will be rewarded if it goes smoothly. We had everything packed and boxed. They tore down everything else, wrapped it and packed it like it was their own. This includes an 800 lb gun safe and a garage full of tools. We slept the night in a bare house, closed on that and the new home the next day before noon and the truck showed up on time at 1:30 to deliver out property. The movers made it so easy. They were gentlemen and handled everything well without bemoaning things like the gun safe or stairs. When it was all done there were 2 broken dishes and we are the ones who packed them. That“s it. I will say that I enjoyed working with Eric and his team much more than the office. But to me the men doing the work are really the driving force and because of them alone I would not hesitate to use MBM to move me again.

Movers showed up a day late with a truck that was half full. I had to leave behind 2 very nice California shag rugs (worth around $ 3000) no more room on the truck to put them, and since they were late and I had to get out of my house by the next day, so I had to leave them. My move cost me $ 2000 more than the original quote! I had a box of pictures (my kids baby photo book) that were wet and had mold on them. Lamps and lamp shades were ruined. They gave me a window for delivery and they were 2 WEEKS LATE! Kentron would not return my calls about my lost furniture. And I’m missing so many things. The claim was a joke as well, they didn’t come through on their word for replacement and I’m too poor to hire an attorney!
This was THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER! I feel like they took advantage of me because I’m a single mother with 2 kids… I would rather slit my wrist and swim in alcohol before I would ever use this company! Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

Mbm Moving Systems was great to work with. Kimberly Lawson was very helpful throughout the entire process. She was always there to answer any questions I had as we moved from North Carolina to Texas. We had a house and car to move, both of which met and exceeded our expectations. I would use Mbm Moving Systems again if the need should ever arise.
