Okay for real, this place is the beez neez. Their pizza is delicious and so absurdly cheap, they’re open until 2AM with deliveries until then as well. Always a bunch of bad ass people hangin out around the area, with a music venue right beside it. Everyone from the boro HAS to check this place out one drunken night.

I got delivery. It was happy with the speed of delivery. The spaghetti w/meat sauce was pretty tasty. However, the«garlilc bread» that it came with is seriously lacking in garlic and bread. It was a measly ¼ inch slice of bread much like you’d see w/bruschetta. It had a ton of seasonings on it and appeared to be soaked in olive oil. A sub bottom or top w/garlic salt and butter would have been more appealing. Also, my side salad didn’t come w/any dressing.

This is the greatest place i’ve ever been to. Me and my gf discovered this place when we first started to date at UNCG and we still bring friends and family here on the regular. Everytime we order from here the food is made perfectly and they deliver super super late so it’s perfect for the surrounding college students. The indoor atmosphere is great too, they have a separate bar attached to the establishment that I haven’t been able to experience yet, but the sit in area features amazing handmade artwork directly on the wall and entire interior. There’s a window into the kitchen where u can watch the staff toss dough and craft pastas. If you have a special request about the food the staff will be sure to give your order extra care even when they’re super busy, they really do put love into they’re work. Love this place, hope to maybe even work here someday in the near future. Highly recommend! Favorites from here, Mac’n’Cheese bites and Stromboli.

We went on Facebook and clicked on See Menu on their page. The pizza’s we wanted should have been no more than 18.99 each, 216″ pizzas, one veggie and one meat lovers off the traditional favorites. When the guy totaled it up he told me $ 59…I was shocked and said hold on, this online menu does not say that. I was informed it was an old menu and the prices had changed, APPARENTLYTHEYJUSTABOUTDOUBLED. Either that or we got charged the price for anyone staying at the very nice Proximity Hotel which is very near there. Who knows? This pizza place is located right next to UNCG. I seriously doubt those kids are paying $ 29.99 dollars for a 16 inch pizza. And they were cold on top of all that. Very disappointed. In addition it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to cook them and drive them 2.8 miles.

So I have mixed feelings about this place. The pizza is very good, but the slices are tiny(it would take 2 slices to equal 1 slice from our regular NY Pizza spot). We asked for garlic bread, and the dude walks over and holds up a dried up, crusty piece of bread and says«this is our garlic bread, you still want it»? I was flabbergasted. There was a whole shelf of fresh bread right behind him, and it takes no time at all to butter up a piece, sprinkle on some garlic, and toss in the oven(the place didn’t close for another 7 hours). We eat our little slices and are still hungry, so we decide to order a whole pie and take home the leftovers(since that seemed like a better deal). We sit down to wait, and a kid walks up and orders a buy 1 get 1 free slice. Then we notice the sign, «if you want the special price, you must say so before ordering». So yeah, sounds like this place has a special running all the time, but you have to be «in the know» to get the deal. I was very annoyed, since I felt like we’d already overpaid. Unless you need a physical coupon, I think every customer should get the same price. Breakdown: *Pizza good *Servings small *Service rude *Prices all over the place

Born and raised in Greensboro, NC and this is my favorite pizza place! Everything on the menu is good and I love the HUGE cut slices of pizza you get!

Great Pizza! We are from NY and this is far and above anything here. Reheats well and tastes better than anything we’ve had delivered in Greensboro so far. Highly recommend!

Delivery takes AGES. We lived about 3 blocks away and always took too long. One time we ever ordered pizza and it took nearly 2 hours, that is ridiculous. We canceled our order because of how long it was taking and we wanted to find food elsewhere faster. The person who we spoke to on the phone clearly had zero customer service skills and if he did have any he sure wasn’t making that very apparent. With there being so many other great pizza places in the area we marked that off our list permanently.

Pros: Location! It’s right on the little strip by UNCG. Also, NY Pizza gets mad points for actually serving NY style pizza. Super thin, cheesy and the good kind of greasy. You’re going to want to fold that sucker in half. They are super affordable and serve by the slice, which I love. The atmosphere is pretty cool. A bit funky. Good patio. They host live music on weekends. Woot! Cons: Much to my dismay, the pizza just isn’t that good. :/It was sooooo close and just quit in the last mile. I think it’s the sauce that needs a little tweaking. Fresher ingredients, maybe? I’d still give it a shot! Perhaps it’s more your style.

So damn good!!! I’m a native New Yawkah and the one thing I miss is having really good pizza! They have a special that lasts until midnight where you can buy one pizza and get one free! Great place and plus there’s a bar next door that serves drinks!

Beat Sicilian pizza, hands down. We get the NYP minus those little nasty salty fish, awesome. Takes a lot longer than regular pizza and more expensive but well worth it. Best pizza in the boro

Come here late night for pizza. They give you what you want. Jordan is the best. I make so many special requests and Jordan answers them all. Thanks Jordan. You’re stellar! Can’t say enough good things about this place. Pizza, yummm.

Have been ordering from this location for several years but the last two pizza deliveries have been the wrong order. Tonight the driver had the wrong pizza so he decided to go back to the previous house where he had just made a delivery to switch both pizzas and bring me the correct one. When I mentioned that wasn’t a good idea to a New York Pizza employee on the phone he became agitated and asked«why». I mentioned that he can’t serve food that has been left at one customers house to another customer. Nobody seemed to get that. Eventually a different person on the phone said that they would make me a new pizza but they weren’t very happy about having to do so. I declined.

I’d like to start off this review by saying that if you honestly think this is in anyway close to GOODNY pizza, you have obviously never had it. Everything served is mediocre at best but that isn’t why I wouldn’t go there. Their subs/sandwiches are just plain bad and their pizza is ultimately disappointing but it is the regular patrons that they allow there who turn me off completely: I go to Tate street coffee all of the time. It’s a wonderful place full of very friendly and attentive people. However, to this day I have not been able to walk past NY Pizza to Tate Street Coffee without feeling entirely uncomfortable. Essentially, the patio is filled with drunken guests who feel that it is acceptable(perhaps even attractive) to scream at other people minding their own business. It doesn’t flatter me, it just makes me uncomfortable. In my opinion, this is the sore spot of Tate Street.

This place has been in business since I attended college & it really brings back memories. The pizza is still pretty good and the meatball subs are delicious. If you’re looking for a cheap meal(and they have a bar too), stop by no matter how late.

I come here for the student special that’s about it. The food is great and the pizza sauce is home made so you really can taste the difference. Other than the specials they are kind of high priced. I suppose the saying you get what you pay for applies. I wouldn’t know because I haven’t really tried the other menu items other than the spaghetti and meat sauce(decent, nothing to shout about). This Stromboli I am smashing on is soooooooo good. Not really sure about the décor choices though. Multi colored Christmas lights year round? You decide but I’m satisfied.

Amazing peperoni pizza!!! We couldn’t stop eating it! Good thing I don’t live in Greensboro because I’d be eating here every night.

Seems like a great college hangout(live music, cheap beer), but my experience with the food was pretty ordinary. The Italian Sub(6″) was very thin on both meat and cheese, and the roll itself was very bready, no crustiness to it at all. The 10″ Pepperonia had a nice taste but was thin on the pepperoni, and the crust here is soft, almost soggy. The 10″ Veggie was ok, but even soggier than the pepperoni. Might be a cool place to catch a drink or some music, but the food I tried was not a reason to return.

Great place to grab a slice of pizza, but also a decent bar. It’s quite the hangout for college kids on some Friday and Saturday nights. The bar side also has some interesting regulars.

This place never disappoints. From the subs and wings to the fries and pizzas, everything is delicious at all hours of the day. I lived in Greensboro for 7 years and I ate there frequently. I miss that place.
