Taco Bell

Most fast food places fall in the 1 to 2 range for me. The food is overly processed and seldom looks like the advertising. Cleanliness is an afterthought and the employees don’t want to be there or act like you are bothering them by showing up.
Not so at this Taco Bell. Recently renovated, the owner of this location is going against the grain. We have been here a few times now, not on our normal beaten path, and each time the food actually looks fresh, you get what looks like the ad, and the people are friendly.
Never to be confused with a fine restaurant, this one at least acts like they want your business. Worth eating here if you want something quick.

Me: can I get some hot sauce and green sauce please
Them: sure
Gets order…
Me: is my hot sauce and green sauce in the bag?
Them: yeah you’re Crunchwrap is on the top and the burrito and salsa is on the bottom
Get home and look in bag and guess what?
no sauce for you!
Tried the new $ 1 crunchwrap slider, might have been ok if the flour tortilla had not been toasted until it was the color and texture of pavement. Also really needs sauce because the rice, fritos and beef are really dry together as there wasnt much cheese sauce to be found.

So I have to admit that I do love some good Taco Bell when things get rough and it’s late. Sure I could go and buy some bread from the grocery store and make a sandwich, but why? Each time I visit this location they are always on point with speed of service. I do wish a little more care would come into the quality perspective. Such as making sure I have fresh potatoes and apple empanadas that aren’t way over the hold time. I have not had a moment to be able to see what the dine in experience would be yet but I will give you all a holler!
They are having some type of construction to the building but otherwise the exterior cleanliness is good. The temperature of the food was very hot with the exception of the items above.
I did have a chance to use the new App and placed an order and paid for it on my debit card before picking up in the drive thru. I got a confirmation text message and notification from the app. It asked me to check in then took my back to the main menu for some reason. Long story short once at the menu just gave my Name and they had my order. Straight to the second window and off I went!
Team members here are very friendly and I enjoy talking to them when I come thru.
A little note would be to have someone that checks that bag to ensure that all condiments are in there. I didn’t get a spork/​spoon :/
